We really enjoyed our stay at the casita. The host was responsive and accommodating. We ended up extending our reservation. The ambiance of the place is very cozy. The fireplace was a delight and kept us toasty. The kitchen is stocked well enough. The shower is great. Loved the heated floors. One tiny annoyance is that the listing doesn’t state that the hot tub is shared with other rentals on the property. This ended up not being a problem because no one else bothered us. I also didn’t notice by the pictures that the shared hot tub is a little bit of a walk from the patio. Not normally something I would complain about but it was single digit temps out and that frigid walk made the hot tub Less cozy. Ha. But honestly a great experience and would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed for 25 days at the Casita, and we found everyone on our host's team to be very pleasant, and extremely helpful! The Casita is very peaceful and quiet, and pretty centrally located for all the sights of Santa Fe!
My husband and I had booked the casita but there were some issues out of the owners control from the last people who rented it so they offered us a free upgrade to their master suite. We could have still stayed in the Casita but they wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. Spoiler, it was! The MS was absolutely beautiful with stunning views, and nice kitchen to cook in, and the best shower I’ve ever had in my life. This trip may have cost us a ton more because I’m ready to remodel our bathroom now. The location of the house was perfect for us, close enough to the things we wanted to see that everything was no more then a ten minute drive, but far enough out that we weren’t in the thick of things. I want to thank our hosts so much for making our 25th anniversary trip so very special. The memories that were made there will forever be with us.
The guesthouse was just what we wanted. We loved the location the best, you feel secluded yet you’re a 10 minute drive from anything you could possibly need. We grilled one night and cooked inside a few nights (we have 2 kids). Pots, pans, utensils, even some spices were all provided. We arrived to a nice bottle of wine also:) The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. In my opinion, the best view is right out the front door. There isn’t a seating area there as the picture shows and it’s a tiny space, but we just pulled chairs from side patio and enjoyed winding down there in the evenings.
The king bed was very comfy and the kids used the day bed set up (which is part of living area so if you’re looking for separation-this is not your place), however it was great for us!
The bathroom has 2 robes and soaps, shampoos, etc, a hair dryer too. We brought our own but it’s there if needed.
The hot tub was a little tricky to get to, as it’s set up facing the main house (which is a tad closer than I had expected from photos) but it is clean and works perfectly! The kids really enjoyed that after skiing.
Lastly, we mainly went to Ski and the drive to Ski Santa Fe is about 40 mins. Amazing drive up. Note: leave early (like 8-8:15) b/c it gets backed up and lines can be very long to get rentals, etc! We waited 2 hours with two 8 year olds on day 1🤪!! Not the best start, but after that, it was great!!
Lastly, Lux is a fantastic property manager! Quick responses and very helpful! There was a small issue with a loud alarm waking us early one morning & problem was solved shortly after reaching out. AND we were offered a sufficient refund just for being inconvenienced!! I only mention this to end with an example of how Lux & Gordon are really Super Host!
Wonderful place to get away but yet be close to all the fun you want to do!
This little home is so comfy and easy to be in. The master bed was so comfy. I loved the big kitchen/ living room. It’s so open and makes everything so easy to do. The yard was perfect for our dog to have a little roaming space. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. It’s an easy drive to all the places you want to go in town. The owners were so easy to work with and responsive. I want to go back!
This is a great little 'casita' in a beautiful part of Santa Fe. It's close to the city and all the fun stuff, but at the same time it is tucked away in the hills and feels secluded. The house is a perfect size for 3-4 people (or in our case, three people and a dog). Gordon was very helpful the entire time and quickly answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this VRBO!
The rental was beautifully decorated! We liked how close in it was, but still felt country. Stocking in the kitchen could be improved and the washer/dryer combo never got our clothes dry. Gordon was easy to work with.
The home is very comfortable with everything you would need for a longer stay. My spouse, small pup and I stayed for a week and could not have been more pleased and the owner/manager was extremely responsive. Try it, you'll like it!
First let me say that the space is truly beautiful! And the host was very kind.
I was bummed, though... the final reason I decided on this property was the big tub. However, there was a pretty intense ant problem around the tub and in the jets. And the water pressure was really low, so taking a shower with snts wasn't wonderful.
Also, many of the dishes weren't washed well and we had to wash things before using them.
But problems are easily corrected and I hope that they are resolved, because the space is beautiful, and the quiet and stars at night were amazing.
My husband and I stayed at this casita for a week with our small dog. We enjoyed a number of things about the property: 1) the large TV with multiple streaming services across from the couch with recliner ends, 2) easy access to multiple areas in and around town, 3) the fenced backyard with table, chairs and BBQ, and 4) the comfortable king size bed with convenient USB plugs and outlets. Definitely would stay there again.

Great place for us! Dog and all.
The place was perfect for our family of 3 + dog. The house was a good fit, close to the city center and activities. We didn't need to be within walking distance of the city center since our dog would hang out in the car. We enjoyed the hot tube as well.

Excellent Property with all Amenities, HBO, Hot Tub, Free Wi-Fi, Stereo, Full Kitchen & Views.
I've rented the main house & guest house on several occasions. The new management company, Luxx Hotel, is doing a great job! Modern, yet has feeling of Santa Fe throughout!

The concept of Hotel Luxx is more like a hostel than a hotel. On our first night the room next door had their TV on all night long loud enough to keep us awake. There was no one at the hotel to complain to and we had to call a number in Concord, NH. Ten calls later and still no response we decided to find another place to stay. The Luxx management finally called us two days later and has charged us for the two days that we didn't stay there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place was fantastic
The rooms are great and great looking; this place is fantastic! I looked around at other hotels in the area and this was by far the best deal for the money for what you actually get in a hotel. I like the concept of the hotel and the place was stylish, looked great with all decor they chose and I really liked the lobby (lounge) area for relazing. I'd choose Luxx again!
