The apartment is located in a very beautiful 17th century building, completely renovated, with elevator. Access is secured by code, intercom and the permanent presence of the caretaker. The apartment enjoys lots of light, calm and a view of the interior courtyard.
Ideally located in the immediate vicinity of the Temple, Arts and Crafts, Filles du Calvaire, Répubique metro stations. 1 minute walk from the rue de Bretagne and its shops, the Carreau du Temple, the organic market of 'Enfants-Rouges' (oldest market in Paris) and the beautiful Square du Temple as well as the shops on the street Francs-bourgeois, Place des Vosges and the trendiest restaurants in the capital. Amazing stay

The flat is bright and quiet because it faces the inner courtyard on a quiet street. Excellent kitchen appliances and elegant decor.

Great apartment in a great location!

This is a superb apartment in the heart of Le Marais. Very convenient to restaurants and cafes, and museums too. The host was very accommodating and made sure everything was fine. Highly recommended! We hope to stay there again during our next visit to Paris.

Suited us nicely

Great location within walking distance of the best Paris attractions. Apartment is spacious, sunny, and has windows on two sides that allowed for good air circulation. It’s also within the complex, away from the hustle and bustle on the streets. We were quite comfortable in this well-furnished apartment.

Large Apartment in the heart of Marais

Apartment located on quiet residential street close to great Bistro's and Restaurants. Large apartment with great kitchen, great light from many windows, modern elevator and spacious rooms. We walked to all of our popular sites and restaurants and the Christmas and Bastille markets are close by. Véronique was a perfect host, met us on our arrival and stayed in touch during our visit.

Nice - oldfashioned - not cheap

It is a well functioning appartment in a wonderful area. The inside is quite oldfashioned. I liked it but I think it is a little overpriced.

Perfect Paris Location

The apartment is larger than most that I've rented in Paris. Well furnished, clean and everything works including WIFI. The owner communicates in a timely manner, a big plus. The Marais is a lively, friendly and diverse area. We loved it. FIVE stars.

Gem in Marais

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely Marais flat. It was very well equipped for a short or extended stay. The flat was ideally located to explore the heart of Paris and within a 5-10 minute walk to several Metro stations. I felt the flat was large by Paris standards and appreciated how quiet it was to return to each evening. Cafes, food stores and boutiques are a short walk down the quaint streets of Marais. The owner and on site manager were both lovely to work with. We will definitely return and recommend this lovely, quiet flat without hesitation.

Beautiful, quiet, and centrally located apartment in the heart of Paris

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is as described and more. The apartment is beautifully decorated and stylish. We enjoyed the decor and attention to detail. The check-in was simple. Veronique gave us the essential information about the apartment and answered our other questions. The apartment is secure, facing a courtyard. Despite all the neighborhood activities (restaurants, bars, cafes), it is quiet. Also, since our trip was for business, we appreciated working spaces (a desk and two tables). The location is excellent, walking distance to various tourist attractions. We highly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place for a Paris visit

A truly charming flat, perfect for two, decorated tastefully and with all the accoutrements we needed. Neighborhood location, with shopping, restaurants, bars, and Metro very nearby was excellent. We always felt safe. It was a wonderful base for exploring Paris. As others have noted, the bed squeaks with every movement. But it is large and comfortable and did not bother us at all. Veronique was gracious and answered our questions before and during our visit Very important was that the flat was VERY clean. We recommend it unconditionally. Merci!!

Beautiful, Quiet & Safe Apartment

This property is a "pied a terre" belonging to a family residing in Normandy. So, it's like staying in someone beautiful, fully furnished city home. It's warm and beautifully furnished and decorated. The location in le Marais is excellent with groceries, bakery, galleries, boutiques and dozens of restaurants within a coupe blocks. Situated in the "haute Marais" it's an excellent home base for exploring central Paris. Also, the Picasso Museum and Centre Ponpidou are a short walk away. Another significant plus is Veronique who manages the VRBO stays. She is charming, knowledgeable about the area and makes herself available. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on! Especially enjoyed Camille just a short walk away. I unreservedly recommend this apartment. It cost a bit more than others in le Marais but is worth it due to it's quality, location and excellent management!!

Quiet and very well maintained building with elevator 😊 in a fabulous location with four metro stops within a quick walk. You can access any part of the city with little problem. Apartment is bright and spacious by Paris standards. Only real recommendation to owner is to see what they can do about a hugely creaky antique bed. A minor drawback. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient!!

Comfortable, light filled, spacious apartment, convienent for sightseeing, shopping, eating, and wal

This was the first time we stayed in Véronique's apartment, but it won't be the last. The apartment was perfect for our needs; the kitchen useful, the bed comfortable, the bathroom and toilet clean and usefully located, and the living room-dinning room very, very pleasant. The decor is different but charming. We had some difficulty with the WIFI at first, but that was quickly corrected by Gilles, Véronique's father, who remained available to us throughout our stay. Oh yes, I shouldn't forget to mention the lovely bottle of Champagne which greeted us on our arrival. Thank you Véronique, Gilles, and Danielle.

Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood

This apartment was beautiful. Lots of great art. The neighborhood is convenient to many Métro and bus lines, very good restaurants and services: supermarkets, laundromats, bakeries (great bakery on rue de Bretagne), cheesemongers, wine shops, etc. The agent gave us a lot of useful information, spending time explaining all the intracacies of the space. She responded to our texts in a timely manner. Our only disappointment was that although there was a washing machine, there was only a drying rack.

Wonderful stay in the Marais

What a wonderful Paris experience at this bright and comfortable apartment on a quiet street in the heart of the Marais. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. The building is beautifully historic but it has all the latest amenities and a full sized modern elevator! The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures - very Parisian with light streaming in from all sides and tall flower-boxed windows overlooking the lovely courtyard. The furnishings were very attractive and comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. You can't beat the location - one block to all the outdoor cafes (Cafe de la Mairie being our favorite) and markets on Rue de Bretagne and a very short walk to several bus lines and metro stations. You are at Notre Dame within a fifteen minute walk and the area is extremely busy and safe well into the night. We certainly hope to return next year and would highly recommend it to family and friends. Veronique will answer any questions very promptly and there is a concierge in the building.

3 weeks in Paris

The apartment is lovely and very secure. Neighbors were nice. Veronique was there to meet us and was easy to talk with. Had trouble calling her and sending a message. Nothing serious so this didn’t cause us any trouble. Just surprising not to receive a response. We could not find the location in the basement where we had been told yo take the trash. We suggest a small trash can in the WC. We appreciated having a clothes washer and a dishwasher. The bed was a good sleep. However, there is no box springs. Instead there is a sheet of wood. This made a lot of noise when we turned over in bed. As long as we were still, it was fine. The Marais was easy to navigate. There were many restaurants and bakeries. And a few good markets, plus a very nice park.

Most Marvelous Apartment

This was my second stay at this apartment. It is marvelous and I highly recommend it. The rooms are large, airy, bright and beautifully decorated with so much closet and drawer space for clothings, purchases and luggage. I felt at home the moment I arrived—I do not eat out at every meal, so the functional and fully stocked kitchen with beautiful dinnerware and glassware is a special touch. The building and courtyard is beautifully maintained and is extremely quiet—never any noise at night. I am a single woman traveling alone—I felt safe and secure in the building and apartment as well as the neighborhood. Although I traveled alone, the apartment is large enough for more travelers to feel quite comfortable. The location is my favorite, easy to walk to so many attractions and the local shops, restaurants and bars are amazing. I cannot recommend the apartment highly enough. Thank you Veronique for your attention to detail and for keeping in touch with me through the entire process of booking, arriving and departing—you made it so simple and you are so welcoming. Great apt & great location

Bright clean apartment in the Marais district. We stayed for a week in late September. Apartment has fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has en-suite shower and wash basin. An easy walk to two metro lines(8 min). Grocery shopping nearby and many cafes for dining out. We felt safe sleeping here. The building is very secure. The apt is set back from the rue Pastourelle and it overlooks an open courtyard (property has an elevator). For a busy area it was very peaceful. Great for an adult couple. Veronique was available via phone or text or email. Thanks Veronique.
