Wonderful stay in Istres
The house is beautiful, and the kids loved playing in the fantastic pool- the property is even better than it looks in the photos! Around a 30 minute walk to the town centre bars and restaurants for us with young children. Lovely beaches a short drive away. Overall, a wonderful fortnight spent in lovely surroundings, with really friendly and helpful hosts.

Paradiesischer Urlaubsplatz
Wir waren von dem Anwesen und den sehr netten Vermietern vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag begeistert. Alles sehr liebevoll und wertig eingerichtet und es fehlt an absolut nichts. Der Außenbereich war uns im August besonders wichtig und auch dieser ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist so wie in der Beschreibung, bzw. wir fanden es noch besser. Die Ausflüge zu den schönen Orten und Städten in der Umgebung haben das Gesamtpacket abgerundet. Einzig die Stadt selbst fanden wir nicht so ansprechend, aber das war uns nicht wichtig. La très grande piscine et ses abords (terrasse couverte avec bbq) est magnifique. On peut même y faire des longueurs. Convient pour des enfants à partir de 8 ans ou sachant déjà nager. Maison très bien équipée et hôtes accueillant et discrets. Seul bémol est la proximité de la chaussée pour le bruit en journée mais en mettant de la musique ça passe sans souci

Prachtig en romantisch paradijs met een super groot zwembad
We hadden een enorm fijne tijd. Alles was tiptop in orde. Het huis is fantastisch mooi en zeer stijlvol ingericht, proper, ruim en voorzien van alle comfort. De afwezigheid van airco is niet echt storend maar de nachten kunnen wel wat warm zijn. De eigenaars zijn erg behulpzaam en zeer goed bereikbaar en tegelijk erg discreet. Het zwembad is fantastisch. Met 8 op 18 meter een paradijs voor de kinderen en zeer goed onderhouden. De buiten BBQ is een echte meerwaarde en staat garant voor lekkere en zomerse avonden. Verder is het een groot voordeel dat alles op wandelafstand te vinden is; bakkers, fast-food resto's en supermarkten. Ook het gezellige Istres ligt op slechts een half uurtje lopen. We hadden een ontzettend leuke vakantie met als hoogtepunt de geboorte van Daniel zijn achterkleinzoon. Dank voor dit mooie verblijf!

Schöner Urlaub
Wir waren begeistert vom stilvollem Landhaus mit großem Pool. Es war sauber und es hat alles funktioniert, alles ist ausreichend vorhanden. Klimaanlage, Steingrill, Waschmaschine mit Trockner, großer Kühlschrank. Wir empfehlen den Strand La Grande Plage, großer Sandstrand ohne Steine. Istres hat kleine Boutiquen, Marie und Pulp. Der Vermieter ist herzlich diskret und immer hilfsbereit. Auch für Leute, die das nicht so mögen, kann ich es nur empfehlen. In Marseille gibt es ein Restaurant Ivan's, ein sehr guter Franzose mit lustigem Kellner. Es war eines der schönsten Urlaube für uns. Liebe Grüße von Ingolf, Susanne, Lina, Chris, Isabell und Lucas

Ein Feriendomizil zum Wohlfühlen
Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr freundlich empfangen. Zwar liegt das Haus an einer lebhaften Straße, aber aufgrund einer hohen Mauer stört das kaum. Das Gelände ist von außen nicht einsehbar. Die Wohnung ist überaus geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie hat direkten Zugang zu einem blühenden, gepflegten Garten mit einem sehr großen, sauberen Pool und einer schönen Veranda mit Essplatz gut funktionstüchtigem Grill und separater Dusche und WC. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Was wir noch nie erlebt haben: Es hat alles, wirklich alles funktioniert. Alles ist in gutem Zustand! Allenfalls könnte man im Außenräumchen einen Wäscheständer unterbringen, um Badesachen aufhängen zu können. Istres liegt so günstig, dass man wiederkommen muss, um alles sehen zu können. Empfehlungen: Wochenmarkt von Istres (dienstagvormittags), Sandstrände (z.B. plage de Piémanson), Saline de Giraud (Hier gibt es unzählige Flamingos zu beobachten), calanque de Sugiton (Reservierungspflicht im Sommer!), Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (in der Nebensaison)(le Fournil Saintois (Maître Artisan): leckerste éclairs), Fischrestaurant in La Ciotat (calanque des Figuerolles, Chez Tanja: Bouillabaisse!), Marseille (Musée Cosquer = das Unterwasser-Lascaux), Les Baux, Saint-Rémy (Boutique Souleiado), ..... Es war sehr schön. Wir kommen wieder. Merci beaucoup, famille Thienneau!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Tolle Unterkunft in französischem Stil, große Zimmer und ein traumhafter Pool (ca 20 x 10m) nur für uns. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und sehr rücksichtsvoll. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Attraktive Stadtvilla im lokalen Stil.
Angenehme Ankunft. Kompetente Hilfe und Info durch die Gastgeber. Traumhafter Garten mit super gepflegtem Pool. Von außen nicht einsehbar. Inneneinrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Küche und Aussenbereich für uns perfekt. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kurzum - wäre man nicht in der Provence, wollte man das Haus nicht verlassen.

Het huis is fantastisch en van alles voorzien, leuk en ingericht op de franse stijl en natuurlijk ook met een mooi groot zwembad. De eigenaar is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omgeving is prima maar meer ook niet.

Sommerurlaub in der Provence
Istres liegt an zwei schönen Seen, am großen Etang de Berre (wundervoller Badesee) und am kleinen Etang de l´Oliver. Es liegt sehr Zentral um die Provence zu erkunden. Alle historischen Städte (Nimes, Avignon und Arles, sind gut über das Straßennetz zu erreichen. Auch Marseille und die Mittelmehrstrände sind in Reichweite. Unser Ferienhaus war wunderschön, im Stile der Provence eingerichtet und mit der Größe von 120m² konnten wir und richtig breit machen. Die Außenanlage ist ein Traum, der riesen Pool, der immer sauber war, der schöne Garten mit Palmen und Olivenbäumen. Es ist ein großer Außenbereich am Pool mit Relaxliegen und Grillbereich. Super ist natürlich auch die Parkmöglichkeit fürs Auto direkt an der Ferienwohnung. Die Gastgeber wohnen über der Ferienwohnung. Sie sind sehr sehr nett, diskret und hilfsbereit. Die Verständigung hat super geklappt, auch ohne Französischkenntnisse. Wir wurden sogar mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt, nochmals vielen Dank. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Gelungener Urlaub
Die Ferienwohnung ist erfreulich geräumig und mit Geschmack und Stil eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut und funktional ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist wahnsinnig schön angelegt. Tische, Stühle und Liegen sind bequem und stabil. Der Pool ist riesig und in Schuss. Der Außengrill funktioniert (Holzkohle), mehrere Supermärkte in nächster Nähe führen alles, was das Urlauberherz begehrt. Die Vermieter wohnen über der Ferienwohnung, sind diskret und extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Sandstrände von Istres, direkt am Etang, sind sehr schön und eignen sich auch für kleine Kinder. Am Meer findet man nette Buchten (ziemlich frequentiert) oder am Plage Napoleon einen Autostrand (erfreulich wenig frequentiert). Beeindruckend sind die Raffinerien am Meer. Unser Tipp: Fischrestaurant Le Mistral Gagnant in Vos-sur-Mer. Schöne Terrasse direkt am Strand, im Hinterland liegt die Altstadt von Vos und vorne am Meer erstreckt sich die Raffinerie. Vor der Küste liegen die Öltanker in Reihe, abends leuchten die Fackeln auf den Schornsteinen. Echt mal was anderes. Auch zu empfehlen: Das Resto Les Terrasses in Martiques idyllischem Ambiente. Sehr gute französische Küche, aber weniger fischlastig, daher eher familientauglich (es gibt auch leckere Burger). Der kleine Ort, auch als Klein Venedig bezeichnet, wartet mit diversen malerischen Ecken auf und ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Fazit: Der Urlaub war toll, die Ferienwohnung bekommt die volle Punktzahl. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Une semaine magnifique
La maison et spécialement le jardin sont magnifiques! Il y a du parking privé et s‘il y a des question on peut demander les propriétaires qui habitent dans l‘appartement au-dessus (ils sont très sympa et serviable). On recommand la plage Sainte Croix (c‘est 30 min avec la voiture) ou la plage de la romaniquette (5 min avec la voiture). On a passé une semaine inoubliable chez Daniel et sa femme :) The house and especially the garden are beautiful! There is a privat parking lot (for more than just one car) and if there are any questions you can always ask the owners of this lovely place. They live in the appartement above and they are really kind and helpful. We recommend the beaches Saint Croix (30 min drive, for swimming) and la Plage de la Romaniquette (5 min drive, for enjoying a nice evening). We spend an unforgettable week at Daniel‘s house :) Istres is quite small but you can reach really nice places like Avignon, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence or le pont du gard in about an hour of driving!

Merveilleux !
Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner une semaine dans cet endroit merveilleux et quel bonheur ! Istres est une ville dynamique, beaucoup d'activités dans la région, mais le plus dur est de se forcer à sortir de la propriété tant on y est bien. Les hôtes sont très gentils et discrets, toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. La piscine immense et le jardin fleuri et bien entretenu, séjour parfait. En ouvrant les volets le matin ou en prenant l'apéritif sous le porche, on ne peut s'empêcher de penser à Baudelaire en contemplant le panorama : "Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté".

Passer de bonnes vacances
Nous avons passe de bonnes vacances dans cette superbe maison. La maison est grande, propre, et bien decore.Toutes les facilites. La grande picine et superbe, ainsi que le jardin bien entretenu par les propriètaires qui sont tres gentilles.Les commerces sont à cote, et ce n'est pas loin du centre ville.Le soleil est au rendez-vous tout les jours. Les Norvegiens recommandent cette location absolument a tous.

Pour des vacances réussies
Nous vous recommandons cette très belle et agréable location où nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en août 2010. Idéalement située (tous commerces à proximité) dans une région ensoleillée (mer, villages typiques provençaux...)et aux fortes traditions (nombreuses visites, festivals...) vous apprécierez également l'espace et le confort (de très grandes pièces avec beaucoup de rangements), le calme, l'indépendance, le charme et la décoration soignée de la villa et de ses extérieurs (jardin clos et fleuri) Et surtout, vous vous sentirez vite chez vous grâce à l'accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse des propriétaires.
