Overall a pleasant 4 day stay that met expectations
First I’ll start with the pros. I’ve been meaning to rent a place with a hot tub and a mountain view that I can just watch sunsets and sunrises and this cabin did not disappoint. We loved the view off the porch and spent a good amount of time just watching the cows, calf’s, donkey, chickens, and geese. On the porch was a hot tub that we spent a good amount of time relaxing in and either watching the sun setting on Green mountain or star gazing. Both the bed and couch were comfortable places to relax and the washer and dryer were quite convenient to reset our clean laundry for the next leg of our trip. The things we noted during our stay were that it became clear that the pics used to advertise the cabin that we ended up staying in was a combination of cabins. Best we could tell it was a blend of pictures from the larger cabin next door and some outside shots of the smaller cabin we ended up in. Next on the list was the stove and oven were smaller than normal and we were only able to get one of the coil burners to work. The one time we attempted to turn on the TV we couldn’t get it to work despite following the posted directions. We aren’t big tv watchers but I know some may find this to be more of an issue than others. On that note, there is no WiFi and cell signal is sparse so may not be a good option if you need to remain connected. There are also chores posted on the fridge to complete or be met with extra fees… in addition to the cleaning fees you’re paying already.
I was looking for a place to just unwind after a very chaotic few months, and this place was perfect for that! The area was nice and quiet and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. It’s away from the fast pace of Gatlinburg, but close enough to travel into town to eat or explore. The fact that it is pet friendly was just an added bonus!
My boyfriend and I booked this trip almost two months before we went. We had absolutely no idea a winter storm was coming until the week before. We made it safely. Check in was easy. Property was as described. It turned out to be a magical trip due to the cabin and winter wonderland.
I spent the weekend there with my partner, and we had the most relaxing time! The cabin was cozy and had everything that we needed. We literally didn't leave it during our entire stay. If you want to get away from the world for a few days, this is the best place to do it!
No fire wood, hot tub not impessive, $.79/sqft laminate, old appliances. Needs better porch lighting.
The privacy is great

Not what I thought
If you want a pretty and cruvey hour drive to town, this is the place for you. It was just my husband and I for our anniversary. The place is very small. The one TV in the living room/dining room/ kitchen was so small we could not see. We are old (50's) but it was tough. The hot tub is not for more than 2 people or a heafty man. Was very thankful they had room spray, it was very musty. This is probably good for a young couple on a budget with no children.
Very nice and quiet cabin with privacy. Bring your own food and hygiene items, you will need them. The hot tub was great and the fire place was amazing. Would visit a second time
This cabin was absolutely perfect. The location was breathtaking with the privacy and the beautiful colors of the leaves changing for the fall. The cabin was cozy, beautifully adored, and well furnished! The hot tub was excellent! Perfect temperature and towels left for us to use specifically for the hot tub. Communication with the managers was outstanding. They always responded within an hour or less to any question or, comments I had. We completely enjoyed visit and will definitely use this cabin again when we’re back in the area. It was a delightful stay. I would encourage anyone to stay here and be as satisfied as we were!
Now for the cons. I’ve never stayed anywhere that coffee was not provided, even hotels. But at this cabin, coffee was not provided, nor sweetener or creamer packs were provided. There was no firewood. We had been told that this would not be provided, but that any dollar store would have some. After going out and stopping at three stores, none of them had firewood. This was very disappointing and could be easily fixed by the owners providing. Also, one thing that really turned me off, was having to wash, dry, and put back up our dirty dishes. This was never mentioned in anything describing the cabin. It was it suggested, but we realized we would be charged $25 if any dirty dishes were left. It made us feel like the owners are being cheap and unappreciative of their guests. Other than those cons, we had a great visit.
The cabin was quiet and secluded. The view from the porch was beautiful and the cabin was clean and tidy. It was about 40 minutes from Gatlinburg, but was nice to be away from the noise of town. The only downside was no WIFI and lack of phone service, but to be expected with being so far in the woods. Overall a wonderful stay.
Quiet and relaxing would come back, good amount of stairs going down to cabin if and handicap or impairment could prove difficult aside from that all great!
The place is very nice but it was a little difficult to not have WiFi or reception in terms or finding places or making plans. It is a beautiful spot though and great get away. Bed is comfortable with a foam mattress topper. Oven / stove are a bit difficult to cook with as temperature doesn’t seem to be correct. We saw two bears on the road on our way up which was a real highlight. Overall great place.
I booked 4 nights here but left after 2. Paid for a different bnb to finish my vacation at. Host company didn’t even care or ask why, that’s fine, not their problem. I will elaborate. It’s overpriced, should be under $100 a night. The kitchen is unusable, the stove is super tiny and old. The bed and pull out are both worn out, super springy, and uncomfortable . The air conditioning vents are rusted out and gross looking, and whistle as air passes through them. The one bathroom is in the dead center of the house, so when someone is using it, half of the house becomes inaccessible. Amenities are non existent. Sure, there’s a hot tub, but there is no switch or timer to turn it off, so you have to listen to it hum all night. There’s no wifi AND no cell tower service at the house. The TV there is about 15 inches small, and again you can’t run any of your smart programs on it. The view is the pictures is deceiving because the trees have matured and grown to a size that blocks almost all of the mountains from the porches perspective. And lastly, there is a neighbor behind the house that does yard work at night, driving her tractor and using her weed eater at 8:30 at night. This place needs to be updated to stay at this price point.
The cabin was clean and is in a great location! A great place to stay if you want to visit the mountains without being around a lot of tourist attractions, but still want the option to go!
