The house was built in 1856 by rocks and renovated in 2006.It consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with one double and one single beds, a living room with a fire place, a sofa bed along with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. A terrace with spectacular view and a patio. The house is located in the center of a traditional village tucked away in narrow lanes. It is located 100 meters from the point reached by car and from there access is on foot.Far from the noise of the city offers calm and relaxation and is a base to beautiful beaches such as Kalogria and Foneas and neighboring villages like Kardamyli and Stoupa.
Exochori is a peaceful mountain village. Experience traditional Greek village life. Spend time exploring the stunning scenery, wonderful hiking paths, unspoilt villages and beautiful beaches of the Mani.

Off the beaten path
We enjoyed the balcony views of the church and red clay rooftops, the gorge, and the sea. Located 8 kilometers above Kardamyli, it’s the best of both worlds—experiencing village life in the mountains and a small town by the sea with great restaurants. The hosts Christos and Mimi were gracious and communicated well ahead of time. The stone house is attractively decorated and well equipped. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and hard work was put into modernizing the house.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in toller lage
Das alte Steinhaus steht in den verwinkelten Gassen des Dorfes. Auf der großen Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Panoramablick über Dorf und Kirche ins Taygetos-Gebirge. Die Wohnung ist freundlich eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für 4-5 Personen. Mimi und Christos sind herzliche Gastgeber und gaben uns Tipps für Wanderungen, Strände und Tavernen. Sie haben im Erdgeschoss des Hauses eine kleine Wohnung, die sie bei uns aber nur für die Übergabe genutzt haben. Dort steht auch eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung . Die Kommunikation lief am besten über sms (E-Mail zT etwas langsam). Wir haben großartige zwei Wochen im Juli dort verbracht und können das Haus aus vollem Herzen allen empfehlen, die gerne etwas aus dem Touri-Trubel in Stoupa und Kardamili raus sein möchten!
