A great place to stay

Amazing Carmignano vacations!
This stay was amazing! Very nice little house on the country side surrounded by olive trees with 2 nice terraces (one in front of the door and another one huge on the roof top with charcoal BBQ. Host was very friendly and responsive, she gave us very good advice on restaurants and other things to do around. My wife didn’t want to leave, since we had such a good time. Some restaurants at walking distance.

Small house away from the hustle and bustle
We found everything as described on the website. You have two options to eat in the morning and in the evening: Directly in front of the flat or on the roof terrace. The landlady is very nice and also gives valuable tips, e.g. about trips to the larger cities.

we have had a pleasant stay in Carmignano. The accommodation met our requirements. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom was pleasant at temperatures of 35 degrees. Beautiful view with a nice terrace. In addition, Caterina was a sweet and helpful hostess! Carmignano is a good base for cultural trips to Florence, siena, Volterra, Pisa. 10 km from train station. In addition, hiking and cycling opportunities for sports enthousiasts. We recommend this accommodation!

Charmante petite maison entourée d’Oliviers
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, Caterina est absolument charmante, la petite maison est adorable et plutôt bien placée, nous avons visité, Florence, les cinque terres, Voltera et la tour de Pise, la maison est propre la literie de très bonne qualité, beaucoup de rangements pour vos vêtements, seule bémol, beaucoup de moustiques , je me suis faite dévorée, prévoir impérativement l’anti-moustiques

La petite maison de Toscane
Nous avons passé 10 jours de rêve dans la petite maison des collines . L'hébergement est très confortable, très propre et bien agencé ,avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison.La vue depuis la terrasse supérieure est très reposante avec le chant des oiseaux et le parfum de tilleuls. Caterina est une hôtesse très sympathique, discrète et charmante et son fils un jeune homme bienveillant qui a su nous tirer d'affaire lorsque nous nous sommes ''enfermés dehors", avec efficacité et en gardant le sourire( merci encore🙂).Pensez à garder les clés sur vous lorsque vous êtes au dehors, une porte peut se refermer très vite!😅. Nous avons vécu des moments merveilleux en Toscane, une région magnifique et magique....en juin nous avons eu droit chaque soir au vol des lucioles à la nuit tombée, ce sont des instants précieux que nous n'oublierons jamais. Merci encore à Caterina et à sa famille qui nous a permis d'exaucer notre rêve d'Italie.🥰 Nous reviendrons peut être et nous conseillerons votre gîte à qui aura besoin de dépaysement ☀️🇮🇹

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit toller Aussicht
Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rand eines kleinen Örtchens neben dem Haus der netten Gastgeberin. Man ist komplett für sich und hat auf der Dachterrasse einen wunderschönen Ausblick über ein kleines Tal mit Olivenbäumen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und hübsch eingerichtet. Florenz ist sehr nah gelegen, man kann von Signa aus mit dem Zug fahren.

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr schön in einer ruhigen Gegend.Perfekt für Familien und wenn Sie einfach nur etwas Ruhe genießen möchten. Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind nicht weit entfernt. Florenz ist einfach und schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch Pisa oder Livorno sind leicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und freundlich, wir sind sehr zufrieden. Wir haben ein paar sehr schöne Tage in der Toskana verbracht. Definitiv 5 Sterne. Wir werden noch mal kommen. 👍

Ein toller Urlaub
Mein Mann und Ich haben dieses kleine Häuschen für 2 Wochen im September gebucht. Dies war unser erster Urlaub in Italien und wir sind ganz begeistert. Das Häuschen liegt am Rand einer kleinen Siedlung direkt an einem Olivenhain. Dank der Dachterrasse und der Sitzecke vor dem Haus konnten wir schöne, entspannte, sonnige Stunden verbringen, da es Mitte bis Ende September immer noch sehr warm war. In der Dämmerung gab es Mücken, aber dank Citronellakerzen und Mückenspray ist es zu bewältigen. Man wohnt dort sehr zentral und wir haben z.B. Florenz, Lucca, Pisa und Carrara besucht. Unsere Vermieterin Caterina gab uns den guten Tipp mit dem Zug nach Florenz und Pisa zu fahren. Von Bahnhof in Signa geht das kostengünstig und ein Park and Ride Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Caterinas Empfehlung in Artimino Eis zu essen war goldrichtig. Wir waren in diesem netten Ort mit der tollen Aussicht mehrfach.und nicht nur zum Eis essen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben uns bei Caterina sehr willkommen gefühlt und sie hat uns bei all unseren Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Ein sehr gelungener Urlaub!

A true gem in the tuscan hills
After some trouble finding the appartment (make sure you use the provided link and not the given address.. our mistake) we enjoyed our week in the tuscan hills. Caterina and her sons are very helpfull amd friendly. And allthough the house is on the same property as their house you will enjoy the appartment in full privacy. Everything is clean and practical. However the kitchen tools are very basic so if you plan on cooking we suggest to bring your own utensils. There is only one door into the appartment and is only accessible by using the key.. So there is a danger of locking yourself out by accident (but if that happens, don’t worry.. There is a spare key in the house). There are nice villages in driving range to do grocery shopping and enjoy a good meal in local traditional restaurants if you are not a big fan of home cooked meals. The appartment is located perfectly for making day trips to nearby villages and city’ like Siena, Livorno, Pisa and Firenze. All this makes the appartment a perfect get away place in the tuscan hills. We recomend it and hopefully will visit it again one day. Senserly David & Laura (august 2018)
