Great stay, beautiful place and perfect home!

My family and I spent a few days there, very beautiful and peaceful place, so many things to discover around, it was wonderful. Great communication with our host, very clean and beautiful home. We would love to come back!

Location, Location, Location!

We had a fantastic stay in this property, which is two minutes from three lovely pubs and also a selection of restaurants and a convienience store. The property is deceptively spacious and there was plenty of room for 3 adults and two teenagers and a dog. The loft room has its own en suite and t.v. The property was very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and even some games and books. You will not regret a stay here!

Great Family staycation

The house is very easy to find and in a great location, with pubs, train station, restaurants and shop very close by. It's very spacious property. Downstairs had enough room for us all to be in there but not on top of each other. The first landing has three bedrooms - main one is very good size, plus the bathroom. Up to the second floor to very good sized double room with its own shower room. There is plenty of storage space too. We had a small issue whilst staying. A phone call to Chris and someone came round to look at it. I would definitely stay there again

New Forest stay brockenhurst

This property is located in an excellent position in Brockenhurst . Ideally situated for the Isle of Wight . River journeys . Train in the centre for local trips to see the area. Good bus routes. Great walks straight onto the New Forest with ponies and donkeys. Great wildlife . Horse riding with a wonderful owner who tells you about the history of the area. Great local restaurants and takeaways . The house is currently awaiting the completion of repairs after a burst pipe from bathroom to kitchen . Just painting required. Repairs to French windows so the garden can be accessed. Lovely neighbours local food shop with very helpful owners . Would definitely visit again . Owner very prompt to reply to any queries

Lovely autumn break

We were really pleased to be able to return to No.16, which is ideal for our family accommodation needs, close to Brockenhurst village centre, and within easy reach of some excellent walks. The house is spacious, very well-kept, and comfortable, with very good facilities. Highly recommended, and we'd have no hesitation in returning for our next autumn break.

Home from home

Lovely house in a lovely location, quiet despite the main road being close by. Very clean and everything we could possibly need was provided. Lots to see and do in the area. We had a great time staying at this property.

Great location, great communication

A lovely place to stay right in the heart of Brockenhurst. Neighbours were friendly and helpful. There is only one allocated parking space so could be tricky if you have multiple cars, although there is paid parking a short walk away. Communication with the owner was excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Lovely house in a great area!

We had a great stay at this property and would definitely return. The house was clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the train and many pubs and shops. The owner was very quick to get back to us before our stay with answers to any questions, and the check-in and check-out process was simple, with lots of information given beforehand. Only good things to say - couldn't fault it at all!

Perfect for New Forest stay

We were a party of 4 ladies exploring the area. The house was perfect for us as we each had our own room. Plenty of space downstairs for us all. A shame that we had a couple of problems with the shower and downstairs basin but I'm sure these will be fixed for future guests,

Family Friendly Accommodations

We loved this house and truly appreciated the opportunity to stay. Our family of four adults fits comfortably in this home. Easy and enjoyable walk to stores, especially when you are greeted by donkeys and horses along the way. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. One of the family members had special dietary needs and we enjoyed working with the local butcher and the Vegetable store to fill those needs. Two suggestions we might have been to have some throw blankets in the family room and perhaps more precise guidance on setting the rubbish and recyclables. I set out the glass recyclables and the kind neighbor informed me that glass would be picked up the following Tuesday.

Excellent base for a New Forest visit

We stayed for a long weekend as three of our family of six adults were running the New Forest half marathon. The house is very spacious and the rooms are well appointed. All the amenities of Brockenhurst are within a short walk and it is a great location for exploring the new forest by train, car, bike or on foot. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. Confidently recommended.

A lovely place to share Christmas with the family.

This property was just perfect for the 6 of us to spend Christmas together. It was clean and very well presented, with all the amenities you would ever need to make your stay comfortable. Chris, the owner, was really friendly and helpful too. The central location is perfect for visitors and you can access other local attractions easily by road. We would definitely recommend this property and we are likely to return ourselves sometime soon.

Superb holiday home for a lovely New Forest break

A really enjoyable short break for our family - Mum, Dad, two small boys and two grandparents - thanks to superb accommodation, some great walks through the forest, and lovely autumn sunshine. We loved the house, which gave us plenty of room, was comfortable and uncluttered, and very convenient for all the village amenities in Brockenhurst.

ideal. lovely house in a very central location

The entire house is well appointed and nicely decorated. all rooms are large and light. Beds comfortable, lots of good storage. lovely yard outside. We were there with 3 young children and the house was ideal for families, very safe. The owners were very attentive and flexible. Brockenhurst is delightful. Also the house is spitting distance from the Huntsman - a fantastic pub. Highly recommend.

This home is certainly everything it is described. The kitchen is very well equipped. The lounge is large and the bedrooms also have plenty of space. A beautiful, clean home with a very nice back garden, plenty of seating. We had a wonderful stay.

An amazing house. My family loved it. So much room. Out back is a sun trap.

We were there for a wedding in Balmer Lawn Hotel, plus my birthday. Railway station an additional bonus. Lots of pubs serving good food. Access to the New Forest. Bikes for hire in the town. Go down to Poole on a group ticket on the train. Saves looking for parking in Poole. Book a table in the pubs in Brockenhurst for an evening meal. Just may go back there again in the future.
