Located in Canet, a small peaceful area (3 km from Hostens), in the Landes de Gascogne natural and regional park. 120 m2 Landes sheepfold entirely renovated by an architect.
On the ground floor you will find an equipped kitchen (with adjoining pantry and wc), as well as a large, very bright living room opening onto a large covered wooden terrace.
The first floor includes 3 bedrooms with an independent bathroom and a master suite (bedroom with private bathroom).
Outside you will enjoy a large garden of 1500m2 fully fenced with parking (2 cars)

Wonderful Holiday home

Property was fantastic hot tub was great but for us a little to rural which meant to many midgy bites for my partner but the red squirrels running around and the local chicken coming to feed in the morning in the garden grounds was good for the soul.

Relaxing holiday sojourn

We stayed for two weeks. We really enjoyed the house which is well equipped and the Canadian Spa was great at the end of the day. The gas barbecue came in handy for some delicious scallops. The hosts Morgane and Christian were really welcoming and very helpful and responsive. The situation of the house requires a bit of driving but you are in the middle between the beaches on the west side and the castles and wineries on the east side, and you can visit Bordeaux and Arcachon as well. Very happy with our stay.

Bergerie Hostens

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Bergerie. Le logement est parfait avec de très belles prestations. La communication avec la propriétaire est facile et agréable. La Bergerie est idéalement située car proche de l’océan et de la voie verte de quoi faire plaisir à toute la famille. Nous recommandons vivement.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Nirgendwo, sehr gut zum Entspannen, Ausflüge in die sympathischen wenig touristischen Orte, Seen oder etwas weiter ans Meer und nach Arcachon. Die Natur hat durch die Brände gelitten, veräppelt sich langsam wieder. Leider war der nahe gelegene See gesperrt, gute Alternative etwas weiter weg. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschönes Haus auf dem Land

Wir haben für unseren Urlaub ein gemütliches Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend auf dem Land gesucht und sind voll und ganz auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Die Bergerie war sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Check-in und -out hat sehr gut geklappt. Ein Mietauto ist empfehlenswert, man kann sehr schöne Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen.

Geweldig verblijf

Wat een prachtig huis in een rustige omgeving. Alles was in orde en de jacuzzi een absolute meerwaarde. Prachtige natuur in de omgeving. We genoten van het meer in Hostens en de uitstappen richting kust. De communicatie met Morgane verliep ook super. Echt een geweldige plek om te verblijven.

Erholung pur

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, gemütliches Haus mit riesiger, wunderschöner überdachter Holzterrasse. Traumhafter Garten! Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, Waschmaschine, alles in sehr gutem Zustand und sehr sauber! Tolle Betten, schöne Bettwäsche! Alles mit liebevollen Details versehen. Ein Bäcker befindet sich im Ort, 3 km, der nächste Supermarkt in 12 km , dort bekommt man wirklich alles. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren, Sightseeing, auch ans Meer und natürlich nach Bordeaux. Schade, dass wir dieses Ferienhaus nicht früher entdeckt haben, es ist perfekt für eine Familie mit Kindern. Wir haben dort außerordentlich erholsame Tage verbracht! Danke auch nochmal an Morgane für den freundlichen Empfang!

Agréable séjour à la lisière de la forêt

Séjour très agréable et reposant au milieu de la forêt. Maison très propre, joliment rénovée avec tout le matériel nécessaire. Exactement comme sur la présentation sur abritel. Vacances de la Toussaint

Traumurlaub

Wir haben unseren 3-wöchigen Urlaub im August in diesem wundervollen Haus sehr genossen! Es ist liebevoll, modern, geräumig und einfach schön saniert worden und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die große, überdachte Terrasse dient einem zu jeder Tageszeit als geräumiger Essplatz und mit den Liegestühlen als willkommene Ruheoase. Der Garten ist riesig, der perfekte Fußballplatz für unsere Kinder. Zahlreiche Radwege, die Badeseen, sowie der Kletterpark in Hostens bieten ein ideales Freizeitprogramm. Das Meer mit tollen, bewachten Stränden erreicht man in etwa 1 h, z.B. in Biscarosse Plage oder Mimizan Plage. Ein Ausflug nach Bordeaux lohnt sich natürlich auch sehr, auch dahin ist man etwa 1 h unterwegs. Der nächste große Supermarkt befindet sich in Belin-Béliet, man muss also ein wenig fahren. Bei Problemen mit dem Jacuzzi kam sofort ein netter Herr vorbei, der das Problem sofort beseitigte. Wir können einen Aufenthalt dort also uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und waren sicher auch nicht das letzte mal dort. Vielen Dank!

VACANCES RELAX

Maison agréable avec un énorme jardin pour les enfants. Le spa est un vrai luxe et l'intérieur est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Tout est neuf du sol au plafond. Nous avons largement apprécié la grande terrasse couverte. Le seul bémol, mais qui n'en est pas un pour une semaine de vacances, est sa situation par rapport à la grande ligne droite en direction de Belin- Béliet.

Ruhe und Erholung im Kiefernwald - Perfekt

Das Objekt liegt in einer Gegend mit riesigen Kiefernwaldplantagen. Hier findet man Ruhe und ist fernab von störenden Einflüssen (von ein paar Jägern in der Ferne abgesehen). Das Haus ist sehr modern, geschmackvoll und sehr gut eingerichtet und relativ neu. Der Garten und die Terrasse laden zum Verweilen im Freien ein, die Möbelierung ist sehr bequem und zeitgemäß. Es ist das erste französische Ferienhaus (wir waren schon in sehr vielen) mit sehr guten Betten und bitte nicht lachen ordentlichen Messern. Die gesamte Austattung mit Küchenutensilien und Technik ist umfänglich und man könnte ganze Festmenüs kochen. Alles in allem fühlt man sich willkommen und in diesem Haus sehr gut aufgehoben - die Grundlagen für eine guten Erholungsaufenthalt sind gegeben. Man kann Ausflüge ans Meer machen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ein Tagesausflug nach Bordeaux - Park & Ride sind dort sehr günstig und sehr gut ausgebaut und modern. Bordeaux ist eine sehr schöne Stadt. Es gibt in der Nähe ein sehr interessantes Museum für Wasserflugzeuge - sehr große Ausstellung (auch für Profis auf diesem Gebiet) und Weinkenner kommen natürlich im Umkreis von 30 Kilometern auch auf ihre Kosten. Wer gerne Lillet trinkt, wird in 20 Kilometer Entfernung im Maison Lillet in Podensac auf seine Kosten kommen. Ein tolles Sommergetränk. Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen. Perfekt!

Amazing stay in beautiful property

Had a great stay in this stunning beautifully renovated barn. It is very well equipped and very clean. Good sized property with the bonus of the hot tub. Great for a quiet stay in a rural area but shops are only a short drive away.

Belle maison raffinée et calme

Une très belle semaine de vacances dans ce bel endroit calme et proche en voiture d’arcachon et la dune du pyla. La décoration de la maison est très raffinée et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jacuzzi dans le jardin. Nous avons également apprécié l’accueil et le petit cadeau d’arrivée de la propriétaire.

Comfortable well-equipped house & very helpful local contact

The house was very livable in with exception that there were no English style mugs or large glasses but this appears to be a French trait. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and watching the wildlife in the garden including deer (beyond the fence) and red squirrels (which looked black) as well as lots of birds and lizards. There was the odd hornet however. The local lady was exceptionally helpful when my necklace broke and the pendant fell down between the decking boards. She turned up very promptly with a colleague who pulled up the decking boards and, amazingly, I managed to find the missing part of my necklace. The necklace had huge sentimental value so we were really grateful for this - thank you! On the negative side the house is right by the road which is not obvious from the photographs online. The road is quiet but ironically busier than where we live in a reasonably built up area. There are no blinds in the two bathrooms despite there being plenty of blinds, curtains and shutters in the rest of the house. When it's dark and the light is on, if somebody stood on the road outside they would be able to see you clearly. Frankly we found this weird and apparently we were not the first guest to highlight the issue. The area generally is very quiet, unlike nearer the coast, but there are still good restaurants and supermarkets nearby although the restaurants have fairly restricted opening hours compared to other places.
