Large garden on three levels planted with numerous native and non-native species. South facing, sunny all day with splendid lake view. Furnished and complete with everything needed for a perfect holiday. Quiet and comfortable, the sound of the stream that once fed the mill will keep you sweet company. A few km from Orta San Giulio and 1km from the railway station. You need to be self-employed.

the municipality of Miasino has set up a tourist tax of € 1 per day per person, this tax will be paid in cash at check-in

Vacances d'été en famille
L'accueil avec Giorgio impeccable, en plus en français donc très pratique ! Belle maison qui a du caractère et une âme, nous étions 10 personnes (7 adultes et 3 enfants) et il y avait tout le confort malgré les moustiques. Beau jardin, cuisine bien équipée, 3 WC,.. Ne manque que le jacuzzi 😉et seul petit bémol, la voie ferré en contrebas de la maison avec le train qui passe plusieurs fois par jour même la nuit donc difficile de dormir surtout avec la fenêtre ouverte.

Superlocatie!
Prachtige oude watermolen, helemaal in het groen gelegen met fantastisch zicht op het meer. Heel hartelijke ontvangst door Giorgio die ook tips gaf voor uitstappen in de streek. Binnen is het huis heel charmant ingericht en je vindt er ook alles wat je nodig hebt. Het enige minpuntje is dat het huis ook populair is bij de muggen, maar daar zijn ook middeltjes tegen. Echt een aanrader voor gezinnen!

On a passé un très bon séjour bien qu’il y est pas mal de moustiques dans la région. La maison est très agréable et reposante. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut à proximité pour se restaurer ou faire les courses.

We had a great stay!
We had a wonderful vacation. The garden was very beautiful and the house met all our needs. The following are not criticisms, just our thoughts: there is no air conditioning. This was fine for us, but it was a little toasty some nights. Also, remember to pack your mosquito repellent. The mosquitos were not terrible, but we made good use of our repellent.

Sehr gut für ein Familienurlaub
Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder im Alter 3 - 11 Jahre. Schöne alte, umgebaute Mühle, die praktisch über alles verfügt was man im Ferienhaus haben möchten. Einzig haben die Mückennetze gefehlt (mitnehmen), aber die Mücken gehören irgendwie auch zum Urlaub. Sehr schöne Lage des Hauses, 4-5 Autominuten vom nächsten Strand. Angenehm warmer See zu baden. Viele Freizeitsaktivitäten. Exzellente Informationen von Giorgio (Verwalter) mündlich und zusammengefasst in einer Broschüre. Nach Möglichkeit kommen wir wieder.

Herrlicher Garten, bestens ausgestattetes Haus, perfekte Betreuung
Hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus inmitten eines Zaubergartens. Wir haben alles, aber auch wirklich alles vorgefunden, was man so braucht, z.B. als es um Verlängerungskabel und Fön zur Beschleunigung der Grillvorbereitung ging. Der Garten und vor allem das Erdgeschoß waren auch bei hochsommerlichen Außentemperaturen immer angenehm kühl. Ein Highlight war der große Steintisch auf der Terrasse, der die mediterrane Atmosphäre beim Essen noch verstärkte. Zu Fuß nach Orta San Giulio oder zum großen, gemütlichen Gratisstrand ist es zwar zu weit, aber mit dem Auto nur 5 min Fahrt. Apropos Auto: Man kann auf dem Grundstück mit bis zu zwei Autos parken, aber bequemer ist es, wenn man außerhalb neben der (winzigen) Straße parkt. Die Betreuung durch einen jungen, gut Englisch sprechenden Herrn namens Giorgio war perfekt. Wir konnten über whatsapp fast in Echtzeit mit ihm kommunizieren und als es einmal einen defekten Wasserschlauch in einem der 3 WCs gab, war Giorgio in unglaublichen 5 min zur Stelle, mit dem Versprechen, dass das Problem in einer Stunde gelöst würde. Natürlich hat er das Versprechen eingehalten. Wichtig zu wissen: Das zehnte Bett steht in einem Durchgangszimmer, ist also eher als Notbett zu sehen. Die anderen Zimmer sind aber gemütlich, die Betten gut und aus zwei Zimmern hat man sogar einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den See. Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub in zwangloser Atmosphäre und mit keinerlei bösen Überraschungen. Zwei Tipps: - Von der Hauptstraße oberhalb des Hauses führt in 20 Minuten ein Waldweg zum netten Ort Miasino. - Das beste Brot gibt es bei der Gelateria-Cafe-Panificio am Kreisverkehr.

Traumhafter Garten - mit wunderschönem Blick - Haus hängt dem ganzen etwas hinterher
Äusserst schöne Gartenanlage und zauberhafte Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Lago D'Orta (dafür gibt's 5 Sterne). Mit dem Auto ca. 5 Min/ zu Fuß ca. 20 Min. in den nächsten Ort, inkl. schöner Badestelle am See und guten Restaurants. Ganz besonders möchten wir Giorgio hervorheben, eine Perle (!), der vor Ort mir Rat und Tat immer da ist. Klasse und hierfür würden wir glatt mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben! Das Haus ist recht speziell und hat seinen eigenen Charme: es ist ein altes Wohnhaus. In Summe recht "kruschtlig", sehr dunkel und muffig. Wir konnten von den drei Bädern nur eines zum Duschen benutzen; bei den anderen beiden setzt man das Bad beim Duschen komplett unter Wasser. Wir haben das Haus mit 8 Personen genutzt, mehr würden wir nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Uns hat das Haus leider nicht so sehr gefallen und daher bewerten wir es in Summe mit 3 Sternen.

Tolles Haus mit Italienischem Flair und Blick auf den Lago d'Orta
Eine wunderschöne Villa mitten in der Natur und Gleichzeit nah an San Giulio. Wer nach einem Refugium zum Ausspannen und Erholen sucht, ist in der Villa Paradiso sehr gut aufgehoben. Man hat einen traumhaften Blick auf den See und die Halbinsel, der Bach, der nah am Haus verläuft, wirkt beruhigend: Man kann sehr gut im Haus schlafen. Wir haben viele schöne Abende am Kamin verbracht, und es sehr genossen, den Flammen zuzuschauen. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt, man hat den Sichtschutz und kann sich wunderbar sonnen. Der Verwalter Giorgio hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben, was man in der Gegend unternehmen kann und wo sich die besten Restaurants in der Gegend befinden. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen lieben Dank!

Exceeded all expectations...a truly wonderful place.
When our family arrived at this home, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of both the house and the site, which overlooks Lake Orta. We were greeted by the owner, Piero, and the property manager, Giorgio, who was always available to answer questions or attend to any matters. It is clear that this home has been lovingly restored with great care, devotion and sensitivity. The one and only downside to the property was having to leave. We hope to return very soon. Our sincere thanks to Piero, his family, and Giorgio.
