Confortable and spat

Very spacious apartment with a large balcony

The apartment is extremely spacious. There are two double bedrooms, one of them with an en-suite bathroom, a separate bathroom (with a jacuzzi bathtub), a vast sitting/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen which also has a small table. Everything is in good condition and the beds are comfortable (we didn't sleep on the sofa-bed but it seems less comfortable). The long balcony has lots of plants and a larger area with table, chairs and a luxurious, high-backed sofa. There's a bit of traffic noise coming up to the balcony from the street but it's not too bad (the apartment is on the 6th floor) and unavoidable in Palermo. The location is good. There are good supermarkets and an excellent gelateria nearby. It's 3 km from the historic center but there are frequent buses. The landlady was friendly and helpful (she met us off the bus from the airport) and stayed in contact via WhatsApp, and she lives in the next street so could come round if necessary. Although the outside is modern the building is from the 1930s and has a lot of character, including the two elevators. We would definitely stay here again.

Two weeks in Palermo

Thanks Gigi - the apartment worked very well for us. The car close by for day trips afield , and it was ideal for the old town and the local neighbourhood.. we really enjoyed the terrace and even the never ending "horn honking" of the Palermo drivers!

A pleasent surprise

It was nice to enter an apartment that was clean, spacious, had all the amenities that one would want, plus a wonderful, friendly hostess. Much enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend it.

Sehr komfortable und grosszügige Wohnung

Die Vermieterin Ciacinta ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Ohne Umstände organisierte sie auch einen bequemen Transfer zum Flughafen. Eine ihrer Bekannten hat uns abgeholt und wieder hingefahren für 30 Euro pro Fahrt. Die Wohnung ist bestens eingerichtet , gepflegt und bietet viel Platz. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Badezimmer/Dusche mit Toillette. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es hatte Kaffe , Milch, Zucker etc. Einziger Wemuthstropfen: Die Wohnung liegt an einer verkehrsreichen Strasse, was das Schlafen mit offenem Fenster verunmöglichte. Die Zimmer sind aber mit einer Klimaanlage ausgerüstet und so lässt es sich trotzdem recht gut schlafen. Buslinien zum Zentrum/Bahnhof und ans Meer nach Mondello befinden sich ganz in der Nähe. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (kleiner Supermarkt, Coop, Apotheke und eine Gellateria mit wunderbaren Gellatis, zudem eine Bäckerei und eine Bar mit gutem Essen) ebenfalls. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sibylle und Verena aus Zürich

An excellent holiday-home, loistava loma-asunto

We stayed for two weeks in L´attico Di Gizi and we can say that everyting was perfect: location, facilities, cleanliness, public transport, garage. We were two couples and particularly appreciated the two bathrooms, and the bedrooms and other rooms location. Everyone had, if necessary privacy. The best part was, however, Gizi. Communication was easy, fast, caring... She arranged for our use, for example, a garage for two weeks with a suitable price. It was pleasant to come home after a day trip, "find a parking place" and know that a rental car is safe. We have lived in several rental homes all over Europe. This is the best of all. Thank you Gizi and Sicily, splendid vacation, Aila-Maria, Kai, Malla and Harri Suosittelemme lämpimästi Sisilian kodiksi!
