Luxurious & Spacious Lake Hartwell Home

Craftsman style custom designed and decorated throughout. Builders personal home with 4000+ sq ft. with innovative ideas not yet seen in Hartwell. 6 Large Bedrooms, 4 Full Baths. Four of the six bedrooms have King beds! Main level - Master (King Suite) and Guest (Queen) Bedrooms. The private Master BR Suite includes a luxurious master bath with separate over-sized Jacuzzi jet tub and shower areas. Two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, downstairs den, dining area, and all tiled porches enjoy the big water view of Lake Hartwell! Upstairs has 2 BR's (Both Kings) with a separate reading/nursery room that can handle a queen blow up mattress for a small 7th bedroom, downstairs 2 BR’s (1 King and 2 Queens plus a set of Bunkbeds), 1 Bath, and den with wet bar. In-ground fire pit on backyard patio overlooking the lake, double garage on main. WI-FI, large flat screen HDTV, in Master Bedroom. About 30 minutes for Clemson Football and Graduations!
We have found that groups where everyone wants to be comfortable find this home the best! There are several areas to sit together both inside and outside as well as plenty of privacy for all. There are 4 Large Bedrooms with King beds. Two more Large Bedrooms support 1 Queen bed and 2 Queen beds and a set of bunkbeds respectively.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor with only one step from the garage in case anyone has difficulty climbing stairs. This allows everyone to enjoy the beauty of the lake and be in the middle of all of the fun!
You are more welcome to bring any floating devices, rings, floats, noodles, etc for your use. We kindly ask that you not leave them behind for other guests as our insurance does not allow us to provide any non-Coast Guard Approved floating devices. We will leave a few Coast Guard Approved life vests for your use.

Summer water fun is not the only wonderful thing to do around Tugalo Heights!!
We find Fall and Winter to be great for day trip exploring!! Besides several really wonderful small towns in the area, here are a few other ideas we love!

Wedding Weekend

Our stay by included 14 people coming from New Jersey for my daughter’s wedding. The house was well laid out. The ground level living space was perfect for all the kids (eight of them ages 16 -25), giving them separate space from the older adults. The master bedroom and bathroom were a wonderful size. The outdoor space is perfect, being the end of January we didn’t utilize it much but in the warmer weather we would have been out there all the time. The home was well stocked with bath towels, kitchen towel, plates, cups and silverware for the large group we had. The house made for the perfect getaway.

End of Summer Wilkins/Evans vacay

There are so many great points about this property I don’t know where to begin!! The house was fabulous! It had plenty of room! We had ten adults and four kids and everyone had room to move around. The back patio and deck was great for just we and eating! Everyone really enjoyed the dock and the lake!! Jack & Judi were very responsive with any questions we had. We will definitely go back!!

Perfect family lake retreat!

This was the perfect spot for our family to get together to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. Plenty of room. Right on the lake with its on dock. Boat ramp nearby and a boat slip on the dock. It's a little tucked away in the woods and not real close to amenities, but part of our enjoyment was making our own meals and our own fun!oursmaking pur own fun

Another good year.

This is the second year in a row my friends and I have used this house for our annual get together. It’s a quiet location but convenient to the interstate and the boat marinas. We rent a boat for two days and leave it at the house overnight on the dock which works really well. We use the barbecue every night and our all impressed with its quality. The house is quite comfortable for six adults with no couples. Be careful with the location because not all GPS accurately reflect it I think. We bought food in Greensville, which is less than two hours away for the entire weekend. There is a high-quality butcher and bakery or to there as well as the national chains.

Another great stay!

This was our second summer stay at this wonderful property. It was great once again for our big family. We enjoyed the spacious accommodations! It is close to a boat ramp and the marina. The dock was great for our boat and pontoon.The outdoor back deck is large and wonderful for evening dining. The surrounding towns had everything you would need. This home is a 10 out of 10!

Fun for the family of all ages

4th of July Family Vacation

We had a great time on Lake Hartwell in this large lake house. Plenty of space for three families! Teens loved having the whole basement for themselves! And all loved the outside space on the huge deck and the large dock!

Great family vacation

We took the whole family on a lake vacation here, ranging in ages from under a year to 60. We had an amazing time. We brought our boat and 2 jetskis. The cove was quiet, and the lake was not very crowded either. The kids enjoyed tubing, and also swimming at the dock. The younger kids and especially the dogs loved the beach area. I would suggest brining water shoes, as the water had some sharp objects and rocks, and the dock produced a few splinters in the kids feet. The house was very spacious with room for everyone, and plenty of bathrooms. This was one of the best stocked houses we’ve ever stayed in with a large group. There are plenty of towels, dishes and everything for the crowd. Overall we had a great experience here!

Always a great stay!

We love this property. This was the sixth year we have vacationed here with our friends and family. The house is well configured for a large party, always immaculately clean and in a great location on the lake. The kids enjoy swimming at the dock, and the lake is clean and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Family Girls' Getaway

The house and location made for a very enjoyable and memorable vacation. The home was well stocked with supplies, extra bedding, cookware, etc. Check in and Check out was a breeze. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night, hanging out on the porch and pier during the day. Loved everything!

A great place to stay and to enjoy

It seemed as though the bedding was not actually clean but we could deal with that. The oven was to small for feeding the entire family so I had to bake most of the dinners twice for each meal. I must tell you that the coffee pot had a leak in the handle and I suffered a burn from scalding hot water, but I am alright. Other than those reserves we enjoyed our stay and will consider returning again this next Spring of 2024. I treat my family to a family reunion/vacation twice a year. One in Spring & one in Autumn. The family Karioaki night was a blast. Some of my family are musicians so I did my best to keep their drumming moderate as to not disturb the neighbors. There was only one bunkbed instead of the two advertised. Overall, we had a great time and we appreciated that we had privacy. Thank you Jack & Judi !

Nice place and nice folks

This was a fun place to stay especially for larger families. Easy walk to the boat dock. Boat dock has an upper level allowing is to cast so much further. School of little fish at the dock enjoy a bit of bread everyday. Protected cove sees few big waves from the main channel. Had a little problem with some lights and the owner responded immediately. Very cordial and genuine folks. Beautiful deck and view. Cleaning crew was nice too— even the neighbors were nice ( saw them at their dock). Dog friendly place!

Wonderful Lake Hartwell Location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. Ample space for everyone and the proximity to I85 and the marina was great. Close shopping in Lavonia or Hartwell.

This is our second home and as such, is filled with all of the amenities you need when traveling. If you don't see what you need, just call us. We most likely can point you to it!! We want you to relax, enjoy, and make wonderful memories that last a lifetime!

What makes this property unique

There are so many outdoor furniture sets and settings to gather or just relax and get away from it all! Covered and uncovered deck areas with seating as well as a large dinner table on the open deck for those nights that call for outside dining! All of the bedrooms are spacious. Close to Clemson. Great watersports on Lake Hartwell! This home is truly exceptional for large groups. Even the drive to it takes you a step back in time to an easier life.
