Just what my family needed. great place to spend the weekend and recharge after a long couple of years. Great location was close enough to civilization but far out enough that your able to see the stars. Chalet had great accommodations and was just the weekend retreat my family needed. Hope to go back again someday.
We loved everything about our stay. The place was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was probably due to arriving after dark, we followed the gps directions and ended up passing the road. We didn’t see the sign until we turned around. We would stay here again.
The cabin location and views were spectacular. The cabin was cozy, very clean and functional. Hot tub was so relaxing in the evening. (Would’ve loved to have an outdoor TV in the corner by the Hot tub.). So peaceful. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
We had a wonderful time. The cabin came with all the basic essentials which most homes do not. The location had the most beauty view and plenty of space from the other homes.
Beautiful site with long views, great privacy, and high quality home - extremely clean - washer and dryer a definite plus - but the icing on the cake is the convenient 10 to 15 minute drive to Logan grocery stores, restaurants and shopping, and the proximity to parks; maximized our "enjoyment" time and minimized our driving time. Would definitely stay again!
This is the second time we stayed at Coyote through Chalets of Hocking Hills. It was a wonderful weekend! Conveniently located, just a short drive to the state park and food! The only downside to the cabin is the showers, and that may be fixable with some updated shower heads honestly so it didn't affect my rating :) I love how secluded it feels, coyote is at the top of the hill which offers beautiful scenery!
My husband and I had a wonderful time. This was our 6 month anniversary and we wanted a quiet and private place to enjoy time together with our pups. The cabin was the perfect size, located with a view of beautiful woods and located super close to downtown Logan. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace. It was the perfect place for us and very pet friendly!
We loved the cabin and how very peaceful it was. The other cabins were not so close to us so we felt like it was just us. Bonus with the hot tub we really enjoyed that feature. We definitely want to go back!

The views surrounding the cabin are spectacular. Inside the cabin it was very cozy, with two comfy recliners and a nice gas fireplace. The only complaint I have is that the beds/pillows feel like they're 20 years old and were very uncomfortable. Aside from that though, we had a great time.
Beautiful property with great views. Rained the whole time we were there but we didn’t care. Jumped in hot tub, could see the game. Great nights sleep! Best Hocking Hills cabin so far.
Bring blankets if saying during colder months, high ceilings made it difficult to heat, otherwise, it was excellent, everyone very helpful....loved hiking
Perfect location. Close to town and to all of the main hiking trails/attractions in Hocking Hills State Park but situated far enough away and on enough land that it felt secluded/very private. Easy to get to and great views from the front deck. Property was very clean, hot tub was at temp when we arrived. No complaints. It was a lovely cabin to return to each evening after spending the day on the trails.
The location was great, close to town but secluded enough that you don’t realize it. Perfect size for my family of 4. Posting states there is a community pool and office. However from our location, it’s about 1/2 hour away, not on property. Thankfully we weren’t relying on that as part of the entertainment for our kids. Boch Nature Preserve and Lake Logan was a great alternative to the State Parks since they weren’t open yet.
I was disappointed the original listing was for 3 dogs, but after I booked the cabin I was sent a form to complete, stating that there were 2 dogs allowed and they must be crated when we weren't at the cabin. I do not crate my dogs at my house and would not crate them when away from home, we opted not to bring them, and that was a reason I booked this cabin in the 1st place. We were told we would be charged for 1 night upon booking, we were charged for 2, it was a 2 night stay. We were going to be late so we called to inform, we were given a code for the lock box and the address, then emailed a different address. We called back to double check, were told the 1st address was correct...neither were. There was also extra fees added in o the total, over and above taxes, I feel these should have been listed before booking, not after. We have used VRBO in the past, and will continue to do so, but this not a great experience.
