This stone-built detached cottage with far-reaching coastal views is situated in Embleton and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.
Long Cart Cottage is a stone-built detached cottage with far-reaching coastal views situated in Embleton and can sleep five people in one king-size double bedroom, one twin and a single room with en-suite wet room. There is also a family bathroom. The rest of the property contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Note: The swimming pool is available for all guests staying in our 13 cottages and 4 apartments. Guests must go to the pool entrance area to sign up for the swimming slots they would like to use, using their property name. Each stay is allocated a number of slots, 7 night stay - 5 slots, 5 night stay - 3 slots,3 night stay - 2 slots. The same time slot is not available to each property each day. To the outside of the property there is ample off road parking, a patio with furniture and shared use of a children's play area on the cottage complex. Long Cart Cottage is ideal for families or groups of fiends looking to explore all that the Northumberland Heritage Coast has to offer.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. EV charger onsite. Ample off road parking. Patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Shared children's play area on cottage complex. Beach 1 mile. Note: Beach is accessed via owner's land. Note: Single bed has an electrically operated backrest and a shower chair can be provided for the en-suite wet room. Note: The swimming pool is available for all guests staying in our 13 cottages and 4 apartments. Guests must go to the pool entrance area to sign up for the swimming slots they would like to use, using their property name. Town: The village of Embleton can be traced back to beyond medieval times and during the Wars of the Roses, it suffered much from the ravages of Scottish invaders. Today, ancient castles and ruins stand testament to Embleton's turbulent past; the Church of Holy Trinity is a late-Norman church, dating from the 12th century, later to be restored in Victorian times. Viewed from the sea, the undulating whinstone ridge that shelters much of the village from east winds, resembles a caterpillar, hence the old name 'Emeldune', meaning the hill of the caterpillar. The rolling countryside means that golfers can enjoy a good 18-hole links golf course that overlooks the beautiful Embleton Bay. Recently launched is the Embleton Heritage Trails Project, consisting of six trails, ranging from a short walk around the village, to a longer six mile route, following the spectacular coastline and inland into the tranquil countryside.
