North of Extremadura, also called land of contrasts, is the recognized Comarca de la Vera by offering a unique natural environment and as one of the most beautiful towns Pasaron de la Vera stands, declared Historical Site in 1998, so that adds to its natural beauty the great cultural interest.
Although this is a small town, Pasarón means Big Bird in Bable, the language of the reconquered astures.
It is the Casa Rural el Tomillar, hidden in the fabric of its narrow and steep streets.
The House is a rural accommodation which is fully rehabilitated and has its own traditional style, keeping the roofs of wooden beams and stone walls and adobe in the main, typical plant both of the veratas buildings that make guests feel in a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming.
It has an area of 200m2 spread over three floors: ground floor, main floor and first floor.
* On the ground floor is the cellar, stone space and large jars conditioning to taste a local wine in good company.
* On the main floor is the entrance hall, a toilet, a double room with bath, heated, and with flat screen and a large open space, kitchen and living room of the house with tv, in which all guests can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and your pellet stove for the coldest winter days.
* On the first floor are the other rooms, all independent, with bathroom, air conditioning and flat screen TV and two of them offer spectacular views over the old town and the endless green and natural landscape.
Besides the Casa Rural El Tomillar offers extra cot for baby and toddler bed.
