Surf Retreat Ocean Front Estate is a 7400 sq/ft luxury home. This newly completed home has 9 bedrooms, two full kitchens, and 7 full bathrooms. This home was build for entertaining with a large gourmet kitchen that seats 17 people, large living areas, king sized en-suite bedrooms and endless entertainment options at every turn.
The home has a theater room, pool table, shuffle board, poker table, ping-pong, darts and multiple gathering spaces.
We know the inside amenities will impress but the most amazing thing about the home is its prime Ocean front location. Literally steps to the sand on a flat lot that is fully accessible. Come enjoy Surf Retreat with your friends and family or corporate retreat.

Breathtaking Getaway!
This was such a wonderful getaway location and we were lucky enough to also have beautiful weather! From the time we walked in the front door to the time we left, everything was perfect. Plenty of space, a well stocked chef's kitchen, beautiful views and comfortable beds :-) We are already looking at dates for our next family get together!!

Fun on the Ocean beach.
This was a definitely a luxury home. It is right on the Ocean beach. We walked frequently to see the sun rise and set as well as experience the high and low tide.

This is the 2nd time we have rented this beautiful home. It is perfect for our work family. Large, well equipped kitchen to cook in, amazing outdoor area and views. The kids enjoy the theater and game area while the adults enjoy the quiet upstairs. Perfect get away for any family reunion or girls weekend.

Great house and location made it feel like you were on a semi-secluded beach, house is so big we kept getting lost and turned around in it. Property manager was kind of rude otherwise we all had a great time celebrating 50years of marriage with all our kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

My parents 60th anniversary
It is a little frustrating when you book a place based on the amenities it has only to have several of them out of service and not a lot of help from property management. The movie theater - you are told in house binder an iPad runs it, No iPad, text manger she’s says it’s a remote. Then we found theater system was bb unplugged and won’t work. Texted management again along with backed up bedroom #5 sinks not draining No response. Fireplaces in two rooms not working. Big fridge in kitchen not working. Management responded with, we added fridges elsewhere in house. Meaning go to different levels of house to store food. I did let management know we found dirty socks under bed and behind doors. She was going to let housecleaning know. At end of stay properly management text to see how stay was and if repair man came, they did not. It’s a beautiful setting and home but if you are going to advertise certain amenities they should be working or let you know before arriving and possibly adjust cost.

This is a wonderful property and the views of the ocean were amazing! The check in time is not what VRBO advertises (we got in at 5:00 vs 4:00) and the list of rules comes across as unfriendly. We understand that this is a magnificent home and they don't want any damage. That being said, everything else was perfect!

There are a lot of little housekeeping and repairs that need to be attended too. We love the property and we are definitely paying premium prices. I don’t want these to deter from the property. A great indulgent stay
The listing lived up to its pictures and description with two added pleasant surprises. The beach was extensive during our stay and the house construction was solid, so noise in other rooms was not an issue. The ream of documents and warnings received just before check-in was off putting but the place, itself, was great with just a few small issues, like sand was in the hot tub when we arrived and we were told we’d be fined if we got sand in it. But this place is highly recommended. The home was well appointed and the warren of rooms was a delight to explore. The entertainment and game room areas were heaven for kids and adults, alike. Recommended.

Absolutely Stunning - RECOMMEND!
The location of this property alone would be enough for 5 stars, RIGHT ON THE BEACH, but that's not all. I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 days at my companies annual sales meeting, hosting approximately 25-30 agents at one time. It was very well maintained, extremely clean, and thoroughly stocked with the many necessary items needed to make this meeting and the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The kitchen was adequately stocked with all of the dishes/supplies we could have possibly needed for the large group we had. The Main large Living room is where we held the meetings on all 4 days, and it was more than enough space for the 25-30 agents and our the large projector we brought. I would love to come back to this property again with large group of friends or family to be able to enjoy all of the amenities this property has to offer.

The house and location were absolutely beautiful, and the home was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. However, there were some issues. VRBO has a different check-in and check-out time than what was on the contract sent the day before we took possession of the property. It might seem small, but that took two hours away from us. There was also a power outage that lasted eight hours which we found out was scheduled. I understand that the power outage couldn't be helped, but it would have been nice to have a heads-up so we could have planned our day around it. When you have 20 people and you are told not to use the toilet it definitely presents a problem. Also, multiple outlets did not work and the hot water heater kept needing to be reset mid shower. The mini refrigerator upstairs also was broken. Even with the multiple issues we still had a great time and loved the house. Here is a list of the broken outlets: bathroom #5, bathroom on the main floor off of the kitchen, kitchen island, kitchen outlets to the left of the skink.

Quarantine Getaway
The house was perfect for our Quarantine getaway. Our 4 families has spent the entire summer together but we needed some new scenery. This house has everything you need. We had 10 children between our 4 families. Childrens ages ranged from 4-13 years old. We never heard anyone say they were bored. The lower level was the kid zone. The double bunk rooms and shared bathroom worked perfectly. Plenty to do between the pool table, shuffle board, ping pong table and movie room. They had a blast down there. The house is wonderfully equipped. (Wish there was an electric griddle) But the waffle maker made due for breakfast. The patio is massive and is literally footsteps away from the beach. We could sit on the rocking chairs and just watch the kids the entire day. The fire pit is massive and made for memories telling ghost stories and making s’mores. Some reviews said there are “a lot of rules”. We really didn’t think so. It’s a huge house with a lot of moving parts. The owners really take pride is keeping is really nice. We didn’t have a problem with “the rules”. We are already making plans to come back next summer. My only complaint is that checkout time is a little late at 4/5:00 and a little early at 10:00am. It made for a hectic morning making sure we were all out and had everything cleaned up before 10:00am. Other than that it was really a perfect trip. Katie was always available for the few questions we had. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Beautiful and amazing views, but need hospitality
This home is one of the most amazing, incredible views on the Oregon coast. Our family of 20 enjoyed our stay, with luxury accomodations and incredible extras. We did have some glitches that may be avoided in the future. We reserved the home in January for a week in April, but the week of our stay received a note from the owner that we did not have a credit card on file. They had nicely refunded the giant deposit from our original reservation. Then on the Friday we were to arrive, we had to call to get access information. It was not sent in advance. Most homes give this information a week in advance without prompting. In transit we read the fine print and we had to call back to get access to the elevator. It was apparently shut off unless arrangements were made. This was not stated during reservation. Then we arrived and had to call for details about the elevator. Then two hours later we realized that we did not have access to two room and called four times to get access. We eventually got access to the two other rooms two hours after those guest arrived. The cable went out during our entire three day stay and we had no TV. We ended up roughly streaming the Trailblazer payoffs. We also had the upstairs hot water supply shut off. We called the owner and got that quickly remedied, but after four cold showers. It went off four times during our stay. Though the house is beautiful, it has a laundry lists of do nots, listed in bold print throughout the final directions. Very uncomfortable. To add to the discomfort, the bronze statues actually have a label that says "Please do not touch". It is hard to relax when you feel you can't walk around or enjoy a home because of the labels. We would suggest that if you have something so precious that you have to label, remove it from the home. We have rented fine family homes throughout the US, and many on the Hawaiian Islands and never felt the discomfort from the many "do nots" listed and labled in the house. It was not relaxing to have to call the owner for so many things that should be automatic and then deal with the cable company directly when we are supposed to be vacationing to enjoy a luxury of the home. To be a true luxury vacation, everyting must be working, labels need to be removed and some trust needs to be put into the renters to enjoy the home. We do so love your home, just need less don'ts. Thank you.

Almost perfect; management not helpful with problems.
The house was huge, beautiful and had just about every amenity a family could want! However, the first full day the electricity went out all along an entire wall of the kitchen. Management kept telling us that they couldn't get anyone to help on a holiday weekend; ironic since we paid extra to be there on a holiday weekend. The hot water heater was unplugged when we arrived. Fortunately this was one call the manager did return, and we were able to find the problem. The hot tub had an enormous leak in it. The first time management was alerted about this, they "gave us permission" to refill the tub with the hose. Within a very short time, the water was below the jets again. I tried contacting the manager, concerned that the jets might keep going after the hot tub was empty and damage it. No response. I sent email, vrbo message, and text. While there, the management had authorized a contractor to enter a basement side door in order to do some repairs on the ceiling. The children played and slept down there, and that basement door was left unlocked in order for the contractor to just walk in on their own time. The signed agreement mentions that the garbage dumpster MUST be kept locked due to bears in the area. Every single night, the bears came and knocked over the dumpster to take garbage. The lock did not work. In the dumpster There were many many rules about shoes, furniture placement, check out time, hot tub, etc. This is all very understandable given the size and quality of the home. Most rules, however, threaten large fines if rules are not followed. It seems as though the signed contract and downpayment would be enough to cover those issues. The home itself was more than worth the cost. It was spacious, beautiful, and well equipped with a wonderful location. The lack of attentiveness from management (or even the NEED for them during our stay), made the cost sting a little.

Location was great but so many little issues
So we arrived late with no hot water to Kitchen and to some of the bathrooms. Too late to contact manager so we tried to look for water heater/s and go through manual book. Had no luck Contacted property manager and they were aware of the issue and was suppose to be fixed Tuesday, two days after our arrival and half our stay We weren't notified prior and it was a super inconvenience to not to have. She suggested washing dishes downstairs. We had a large group and tons of dishes last thing I wanted was going up and down stairs trying not to spill on carpet to wash dirty dishes because of no hot water. Hot tub was dirty on arrival with sand and very low on water. We added water but never got hotter than 91. Fridge was leaking water so repair guy was there the next day to repair. Blinds fell off master bedroom during middle of night about scared us to death. Biggest complaint was master on main floor had the loudest most uncomfortable mattress ever. However the location was exceptional! House was super clean, lots of rules which is okay, bathrooms that did have hot water were great. I paid a lot of money for this home and had nothing but problems the whole trip. Very disappointed that I didn't get the working house I booked. If everything worked it would have been worth the price but no hot water was a huge problem!

Perfect home got our family reunion. Plenty of space for our group to spread out but enjoy our time together. You can’t beat all the fun activities for everyone to enjoy. Really hope to go back again some day!

Wonderful property and location!
The adults in my immediate family (13 of us) took a trip to the Oregon coast and stayed in this amazing home. It had everything we needed and beyond. There was plenty of space to spread out but space to be together. We loved sitting out on the patio area and walking down to the beach. The path from the patio to the beach is doable but not for those who have mobility issues. There were a few minor issues that didn't really impact our stay but have been communicated to the property mgmt company. We couldn't check in until 5 pm PT, even though VRBO still indicated 4 pm PT as check-in. This was explained to me due to COVID and not wanting to overlap cleaners and the next guests checking in. Katie was willing to try to work with me to get checked in earlier, which I sincerely appreciated, but in the end, we didn't need the 4 pm check-in time, as we rearranged our schedule. There are a lot of rules but it didn't really bother us (including the reminder signs). Check in/out instructions were very clear and Katie was a great communicator. I would highly recommend this home to any large groups who want a fantastic home with a really great view and amenities.

The first time we visited Neskowin we fell in love! We love the small town feel and the privacy it offers. The beach is never crowded but and there are so many activities in the area.
This property is truly the finest home we have ever seen on the Oregon coast. We have looked for a long time to find the perfect fit for a new ocean front home and this home was beyond our expectations. We think our guests will be amazed by the amenities and luxuries of this ocean front estate.

Fully accessible. This home was built to accommodate persons with mobility challenges. Extra wide hallways, ramps to outdoor spaces, elevator and a wheel-in shower are all amenities that help to make this home a place where every member of the family can come and enjoy the beach.
