This was the perfect place for me, my husband and my mother-in-law to stay. It’s super clean, nicely decorated and spacious. It’s a ten minute walk to the square. We’ll definitely be back the next time we are in Paso Robles.
The checkin process couldn’t be any easier. Everything was exactly as described. Best parts for us: plush towels, comfortable beds, cutest front sitting porch that was lit up (solar lights/timer) upon our return from the concert creating a WOW factor! Color scheme makes this place a beauty!
Great place to establish base camp for Paso wedding.
Came for child's wedding at Cass Winery. Many family members rented houses and this one was voted best of the bunch! Well equipped kitchen, all the towels you could ever need, tons of convenience items and nice local touches. Very much a top tier rental.
Perfect location, great house, loved the back patio
Came to Paso for a quick trip including a concert at Vino Robles, kayaking in Avila beach and the Sensario light art installation. The house was super clean, bedrooms were comfortable, absolutely loved using the back patio (nicely covered, plenty of chairs, nice deck, and welcoming ambiance). All around a comfortable place to stay, all the amenities were there (anything you needed down to shampoo and conditioner), place was well stocked (all paper products, coffee, etc), Close to downtown (10 minute very easy walk). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home. Thank you for opening it up to us.
We had a great stay. The property was clean and spacious. The fire pit in the backyard was a nice touch as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with basic pantry items and kitchen appliances. The only issue we had was that the Wi-Fi signal seemed spotty. Otherwise we had a great stay! Would def stay here again.
Fabulous location near downtown in quiet neighborhood, well equipped kitchen and bathroom vanities, terrific living area for visiting, with three spacious, private bedrooms. Netflix and Amazon Prime on TV, generous supply of large fluffy towels. Very comfortable and relaxing house.
We loved our time at 8th and Vine! The owners have taken excellent care of the house - it's so clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location could not be better. We loved visiting the nearby wineries, which were less than 10 minutes away, and then walking downtown to the square in the afternoon. We're so happy we found this gem and are already looking forward to our next stay!

We will be back!
Really great house! Perfectly laid out with two bedrooms and a bathroom on one side and the master suite on the other. The backyard is cute and we enjoyed the firepit on night two. Walking distance into downtown for dinner and shopping or wine tasting. Everything felt well cared for and accomodating. Only criticisms we had would be that the mattress in the "master" could use a pillow topper; and the Wii to play DVD's on might need replacing - anything that played on it was in black and white.
We're excited to come back soon! Thank you again for letting us use your beautiful rental home.

8th & Vine was so fine!
Fantastic weekend with friends at 8th & Vine. Perfect space for three couples - large bedrooms, master with en suite, open floorplan and kitchen island made cooking in a great option for one of our nights. Cute backyard with horseshoes, firepit, and grill. Minutes from downtown and close to great wineries. Great communication and responsive owner. We'll be back!

Wine Tasting at Paso Robles
We had a nice stay at the house dwelling. Everything worked as it should. It was clean and everything was there that we needed except a toilet plunger. We couldn't find one anywhere. There was a little back up in the guest bathroom. Location was nice and the back yard was nice. We even played some horseshoes. Too bad our stay was during a heat spell of 107. Surprised to find out, my former family doctor has his office just down the street. I was able to knock on his door and say hi.

Great House
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home that has been thoughtfully updated. We had everything that we needed for our stay. The house is close to downtown (walking distance) and close to grocery stores as well as having easy access to the freeway. We would stay again next time we are in the area.

Fantastic House!
Loved, loved, loved this wonderful home. Large Open kitchen/family/dining area for everyone to gather. Two bedrooms and a bath (with large walk in shower) on one end of the house and a very large bedroom with bath on the other. The home had everything we needed; comfortable beds, pillows, lots of extra blankets, lots of soft towels, stocked kitchen, games, bikes to ride.... I really felt they thought of everything! The front porch and backyard were an extra delight; and a great place to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The home itself is walking distance to downtown and although on a somewhat busy street (was only busy in the morning) it didn't bother us at all. Owners offered great customer service, easy check-in and check-out. The home was so nice and clean I could move in and stay there forever! I will be back. Thank you!

The house was great. Would for sure be back again!
This house was very nice roomy and clean. Back yard was great. We were there for a wedding and had friends and family come by to visit and sat in the backyard with a glass a wine and played horseshoes. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. We will be coming back again. Also walking distance to town.

Terrific place with convenient stroll to DT Paso
We stayed here with friends sometime May 2015 for the weekend. Terrific place. Nice, large kitchen well equipped with utensils, cookware and dishes. Clean. Comfortable beds. Not on a super-quiet street (so you're not tucked away from everything) but certainly not a loud/noisy neighborhood either. The best part was the short, seven-block stroll to the main plaza and all the great restaurants. And, there was a shoe store a couple of blocks down (I had forgotten my walking shoes - LOL). This was a very convenient location. We'll definitely stay here again when in Paso. Thanks!

We loved 8th and Vine!
Five members of my family rented this house the week of Christmas.
We loved the house! It's a great location within easy walking distance of Paso Robles' downtown square. It's immaculately clean and modern.
The open layout of the living/dining/kitchen was great for socializing/entertaining, however watch out for the dining room table lamp!
The beds were all comfortable.
The kitchen was well stocked. Sharp knives, salad spinner, food processor, cookie sheets, pans.
The bathrooms were spacious. They have a convenient dispenser in the shower with shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. No issues with water pressure. Lots of towels and a hair dryer.
It was too cold to use the back yard, but it looks like a wonderful space for outdoor dinning if the weather cooperated.
The heating system worked great.
We spent one afternoon doing two tours of Hearst Castle and one day visiting four wineries with Grapeline, a super tour company that does all the planning and driving for you.

About the host
Hosted by Ann Lyons
Purchased by 4 siblings; Kevin, Ruth, Shane & Laurie. We waited until we could find a property close to downtown. We then rolled up our sleeves and remodeled for the next 4 months! We added a new bathroom and fenced-in a huge yard for outside fun! We hope our visitors enjoy kicking back and relaxing at this house.... just as we will....
Why they chose this property
During our first few visits to Paso we learned quickly that few properties are really close enough to comfortably walk to Paso's quaint downtown..... we waited to buy a home that is.... and this is it!! In addition, we're 'outside' kind of people and this property fit that bill! It has a huge lot. Lots of places around the house to enjoy a glass of vino! We've newly fenced in the ginormous 'eco-friendly' back yard for privacy..... so play some horseshoes on the 30' court, or how about some bocce ball, or maybe just lounge with a glass of wine and finish off your day with a bar-b-q and dinner on the deck!
What makes this property unique
Large back yard, Bocce balls, 30' horseshoe pit. Sun sails over new deck.
