Great cabin but had issues

I want to first start this off by saying that we loved this cabin. The first half of our trip went really well and we had zero issues, however, the second half of our trip is where we had issues. We had come back later from the park when we found that Bill, the cabin owner, had entered the cabin while we were gone. He did not contact me in anyway to let me know he needed to get into the cabin, which from my understanding of Montana law, is illegal for him to do without notification. To be upfront, we did have 6 dogs with us as we had multiple family members from different households joining us, who had there own dogs. They were left in kennels while we were gone that day, with a tarp underneath the kennels, as we wanted to make sure they didn’t do anything to the cabin. I should also mention that the reason we chose this particular cabin was due to it being listed as pet friendly with no dog limit, which VRBO did confirm with me that I was more than okay to do. We found a note from Bill, which was on the back of one of our receipts from a purchase one of us had made the day prior, which said: 6 dogs? Bill. We also found that he had unplugged the fridge, which contained all of our food for the rest of the week, and he had gone through our things. Mind you, we had 2 baby’s with us, and it is terrifying to think about what could have happened if one of us had stayed back with the baby’s that day, or what he could have done to our dogs while we were gone.

Comfortable home in nice location. Would recommend adding two floor lamps for reading to living room. Other than that everything was great!

Beautiful Luxury Cabin near West Yellowstone

This was our 3rd time staying as guests of Bill (property owner). This beautiful cabin is so comfy and cozy! It is located just miles outside of West Yellowstone entrance. Our party included 2 elderly, 4 adults, & 1 child (17). Everyone had their own bed, and we even had 1 Queen bed empty! This cabin has everything you might need! Pots and pans, cooking utensils, Washer/dryer, body wash, and soap, toilet paper all provided.

Great stay right outside of Yellowstones West entrance

We had a great stay with family at the Bears Den. House was as described with a great yard for my kids to run around and play ball in. There were 7 adults and 2 children and the size of the house worked well. Only 15-20 minutes away from the west entrance of Yellowstone, which we visited 3 times while in the area, so this was a super convenient location for us

Great spot for multiple families

We loved this property. Very clean, great view and enough space for 3 families (10 people) VERY comfortably. We loved everything about this property and would happily stay here or Bills other properties when we return. Only small negative is the septic was pretty unpleasant while sitting out on the porch.

Excellent location just outside West Yellowstone. Quiet lot with beautiful view. Large kitchen, dining and living space good for lounging and spending time together. Spacious rooms and appliances for a lengthy stay. Recommended!

House was exactly as described and set up was perfect for our family base camp to explore Yellowstone National Park. House is located 8 minutes from the west entrance to the park which made it easy to get and out of the park.

Yellowstone Trip

We stayed at the cabin with family for our first experience at Yellowstone. The space was perfect for our group of 8, having the 3 bedrooms extra queen bedroom and the 3 bathrooms allowed everyone to be comfortable. After long days in the park the large dinner table was great to gather for dinner and talk about the highlights of the day. The kitchen was well stocked, we pre planned meals and brought groceries with us. The front porch was nice cooking on the grill every evening. There was a cooler in the cabin we used to pack our lunch into the park everyday. There were crockpots available too for larger meal planning. Would definitely recommend staying here and would book again if/when we return to Yellowstone. The town of West yellowstone is close for a quick trip for ice cream after dinner with plenty of souvenir shops.

Great Yellowstone Accommodations

Bear Den is the perfect location--ready, quick access to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, without being in the center of tourism. The cabin is in a tranquil setting with a beautiful front porch view. It is well equipped for family use with ample sleeping and bathroom facilities. It is fully equipped for cooking in, laundry, a cooler for daily outings--even a highchair and playpen for tiny folk. We especially enjoyed a dining table that comfortably seated our family group of ten for meals together. Departure requests for clean up were mininal. We enjoyed our visit!

Perfect Location!

If you are looking for an easy drive in and out of West Yellowstone Park entrance, this is the perfect location! Wake up in the morning to see the sunrise over the mountains and stop at Ernie’s on your way into the park for a quick bite. Or cook something up in the large kitchen if you prefer. After spending all day sight seeing it was so nice to return a spacious cabin with enough bedrooms, large beds and bathrooms for everyone. And it is impossible to run out of hot water here!! For a quick and easy accommodation, stay here. For purposes of improvement only carpet and towels could be a little fresher, but overall we had a wonderful time. You can’t beat the space and location this accommodation offers!

Fantasic place to stay near Yellowstone NP!

House was in great location, we liked being close to the town of West Yellowstone but not "in" it. It's still close to town for shopping, eating, etc., but nice and quiet and the rustic feel when at the house. Perfect location for driving into Yellowstone NP each day. The house was very clean, well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, everything we needed was there. The owner is very responsive and answered any questions we had. We recommend this house especially if you are visiting Yellowstone National Park!!

This is a great property and location. It was clean and spacious for our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids). 3 full bathrooms and the large bedroom for the kids was perfect for us. The house was stocked with everything we needed! Great views and great location to the park entrance.
