"Falcon Holiday House" is located in the historic and charming “Borgo” district of VI century, a stone's throw from St. Peter's and in the heart of the Vatican. Walking in the streets of Borgo is an air dense with ancient history and sacredness. The District is one of the most beautiful in Rome and is an excellent starting point for visiting the historic center. The area is pedestrianized so very quiet, and characterized by small craft shops, delicious restaurants, small souvenir shops and bars. The main sights of Rome can be easily reached on foot: the Vatican Museums, Castel S. Angelo, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trastevere, Piazza Di Spagna as well as Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo, the traditional destinations of Roman shopping.
Nearby there are also several buses and Ottaviano Metro Station which is only 600 meters away, which connects the Vatican area with other areas of Rome.
The apartment is also very convenient for those who reach Rome by car as just 50 meters to the front door, there is a guarded garage.
This apartment is located on the 1st floor of a building overlooking the quiet Via del Falco.
It 'just been renovated and was designed with the aim to offer guests the ultimate in privacy and comfort. It 'consists of 3 beautiful suites (two doubles and a triple), each with private bath, and a comfortable common area with kitchenette.
This is an ideal solution for larger groups because you can rent 3 rooms of our guest house and you will have the convenience of having the apartment just for you, and at the same time you will enjoy the privacy each room has to offer.
Each suite, in fact is equipped with air conditioning, heating, TV, internet wifi, hairdryer and a modern private bathroom with large shower.

Great Location and Very Nice Unit

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of room for us. The check-in process was so easy.

Great location for exploring Rome

This was a great location for exploring Rome. It was a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop at the Vatican. The apartment was clean and close to many shops and restaurants. The host was very friendly and accessible.

So close to the Vatican!

The communication with the owner was excellent. She gave very detailed instructions on how to check in and check out. They're cleaning group drop the ball a little bit but they came in the next day and it was super clean after that. I would stay here again, especially if you have tours of the Vatican.

Apt is nice. A bit noisy in the AM. Good location. Check in felt like they were doing us a favor. Very standoffish with poor and unclear communication at times. Early check in was not accommodated even though we wittnessed the cleaners leaving the property well before check in time as we were storing our luggage 1/2 block down the street. This was also costly. Other than that is was great!

The apartment was in a great location to the Vatican and buses.

On our 3rd day all the power went out. We had no air conditioner ndition or electricity for over 5 hours on a 95degree day. Also, there is not a family room or area to sit comfortably. The apartment was clean and close to everything.

Clean, modern, convenient

The host responds in a timely manner and instructions were clear. The place was beautiful and modern. Each room has it's own bathroom and the bedrooms were spacious. The flat could have easily fit 8-10. The kitchen had all the basic amenities. We found the surrounding area outside our back window a bit noisy at night, but given we were in the middle of a busy city, it was not bad at all. All in all, our stay there was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the flat tremendously. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Rome.

A few Pros and more Cons

Do not let the pictures on the website fool you. Positives about this apartment was location location location. If you want to be near the Vatican, this is the place to be. It's is a really good location in reference to Vatican City! However, it is not centrally located to other historical sights and popular areas. One other positive; the owners of the property were very nice, accommodating and responsive, that was a big pro. The AC was also a big plus and kept the temperature very nice on some very hot days!! Unfortunately, the cons were the cleanliness and condition of the apartment overall. If you want a place just rest your head, it's just fine. If you prefer to have a place that feels clean and comfortable, closer to a hotel level, this is not the place for you. The bathrooms were not very clean, the towels were as thin as can be, they were laundry supplies and cots in the bathroom. The showers leaked a tremendous amount of water on the floor no matter how much you tried to avoid it. It was just not a comfortable environment . There were many lightbulbs out, a circuit tripped, one evening we came in and had no power, likely from running the AC. The walls were damaged and very scuffed and there's no central living space "living room" which is not easily observed from the website description. While this all may seem too particular, it really depends on the kind of accommodations you're accustomed to. In hindsight, I would not pay this rate again for the accommodations provided. I would prefer to spend a tad bit more and have something much cleaner and more comfortable. Based on the pictures on the website, we thought we would walk into a nicer property.

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable. We had five adults and the kitchen was wonderful for us to gather around. We would’ve liked English instructions on how to use the washing machine. The only thing we needed to ask for was more toilet paper!

Perfekter Startpunkt für das Erkunden der Stadt

Insgesamt eine super Unterkunft für uns als Gruppe. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Klimaanlage hat bestens funktioniert. Die Lage ist top, nicht mal 5 Min zu Petersplatz oder Metro. Kleiner Nachteil als Gruppe: Es gibt nur einen Wohnungsschlüssel und die Küche ist für deutsche Verhältnisse mittelmäßig ausgestattet. Insgesamt gibt es aber kaum etwas zu bemängeln, jederzeit wieder 😉

Great location

The proper was will kept and was a 5 minute walk to St. Peters Square at the Vatican They responded to all my requests in a timely manner. I did find it odd that we had to walk 2 blocks to dispose of our trash, the should provide a map and directions for this at the property and provide details regarding this at check in.

Goed appartement, prima lokale

Een schoon en netjes appartement vlak bij het Vaticaan. Drie slaapkamers en een nette keuken. Prima badkamers. Veel restaurantjes en een paar supermarktjes nabij. Via de verhuurders kan je ook een transfer van en naar de luchthaven regelen. Erg prettig en makkelijk. Enige nadeel is dat er een bar vlak naast het appartement ligt, waardoor je ‘s nachts veel lawaai hebt rond 02:00 am.

Nice 3 bedroom for families that is a block from Vatican and St Peters Basilica

We really enjoyed the stay at the apartment. It was very close to the Vatican and lots of restaurants. Most all the restaurants, taxis, and ice cream vendors only accept cash so be prepared. I also recommend that you bring your own entertainment devices for movies. The apartment TVs did not work for us and were too small to see for us. The unit is crisp and clean and the property manager was very helpful when we met him. There is a travel shop just downstairs that sells tours to the Vatican and Coliseum a nice Irish man that runs it. Definitely recommend the apartment for visiting the Vatican.

Could use more guest amenities

If your main reason for renting this apartment is proximity to the Vatican, then this is the place for you. No stemmed wine glasses- seriously? We are in Rome. This was a big disappointment. When I texted our contact about “whee are th wine glasses?” I did not receive a reply. Also, you have to cart your trash around the block before you vacate.only shampoo in the showers, no bath soap. Narrow door at apartment entry. Although there is a double door to the apartment, one door does not open. I will say they do have a reliable transport reference to the airport. We had a very early flight and needed a driver to come at 3:30am to make our flight back to the USA. He was right on time, and it was a stress-free ride to the airport. For this I am eternally grateful. Beds were comfortable, for a short stay this was fine.

Clean, secure, it was right by the Vatican...we had a tour 7:15am worked great for us...only downfall was there wasn’t a sitting area but we weren’t inside much anyway...

Clean and Convenient location

Apartment was clean, convenient to Metro station and Vatican. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were a pleasure to have for our trip of 6 people. Owners we were great in helping arrange for transportation to FCO and helped arrange a tour with City Lights (with a discount) which right around the corner. Nice convenience market close by as well as small coffee shops for quick breakfast.

Geweldig appartement op een prachtige plaats in Rome

Het appartement is zeer functioneel en heeft een perfecte ligging. Dicht bij het Vaticaan en is een gebied met veel lokale horeca. Het enige nadeel was dat er zeer veel geluid was 's nachts. We zijn er nog niet over uit of het zeemeeuwen, krolse katten of Ganzen waren.

Nice clean apartment

It was close to the Vatican. Clean apartment. Very easy check in and check out. Bedrooms all had their own private bathroom. The only concern was a smaller bed in one of the 3 rooms. Fortunately we had a smaller couple with us. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a short stay in Rome. Not that close to the trains, but you know you are walk when you are in Rome.

Great apartment and great location!

I booked the apartment for four people and the accomodations were fantastic. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The location was pefect for visiting the Vatican Museums and nearby tourist attractions. Nearby resaurants were also very good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back there the next time that I stay in Rome!

Thanksgiving stay

Location is perfect. Easy access to the Vatican as well as metro and bus service. The three rooms with individual bathrooms was very nice for my group. The only down side is that there is not a living room. There is a kitchen/dining area that serves as a central space but no true living room.

L'appartamento è ben ubicato nel Borgo vicinissimo al Vaticano. Le camere da letto sono ampie, con letti comodi, e dispongono tutte di un proprio bagno, cosa molto confortevole se si è in viaggio di lavoro con colleghi. Suggerirei di aggiungere una scrivania (per es. per il computer) in due delle tre camere da letto, che ne sono prive.
