Property and location were fantastic Close to grocery stores .Anna picked us up from the bus depot, lovely lady .My only complaint was the house and property could be cleaner .Dean & Leona
Beautiful setting, close to beach, shops, places to eat, and just enjoy life ! Our host, Anna , checks in and provides good advice and knowledge about the area. We would highly recommend this casita.
A nice place for a couple. Due to it's central location the traffic can be load. The TV is limited to Netflix. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. My side of the bed was not very comfortable. Other than that we enjoy the stay
Don’t be put off by some of the previous reviews. It is unfortunate that people are more likely to complain about a bad experience than give a give review.
I’ve been coming to Los Barriles for several years. This place is on par with the most expensive place I have stayed, especially considering the location. Easy walking distance to the beach, groceries, bank and restaurants The couple that own the place are some of the nicest people I’ve met. The casita is cute and is sufficiently equipped for.an extended stay. Although it is a little close to the owners’ residence it feels very private.
I will stay here again.

Disappointing
The owners were very good hosts but the property needs a serious upgrade. We didn’t have hot water for the first day but it was repaired. Internet was weak or on & off . We had mice in the palapa roof at night.
The owners made up for the property short comings by their generous loaning of their quads & bikes. We’d stay again but in the other casita .

No power in Casita for first two nights.
We were excited to find out that we had be upgraded to a newer Casita on the same property, only to find out why when we arrived. No power. No power anywhere on the property. For the first two days. No lights, fridge, hot water or air conditioning. No internet so we couldn't get a hold of Anna, who was back in Canada. Had to use our data and long distance calls to find out what the heck was going on. The electric bill hadn't been paid....we nearly left. Anna tried to make it up to us by giving the quad to us for free for the week, which was nice. We were disappointed to find out that the power had been disconnected for a month already, and Anna was aware. Once the power came back on the Casita was great. Nice and cool, all new appliances and clean. We made the most of our trip, but sadly won't stay at this property again.
Thanks so much to Teresa and Francisco for doing everything they could for us! Though it wasn't really their problem to fix.

Surprised that this cutie rental house was only 10 feet from Owners huge home!
YES....we sure enjoyed staying at this cutie one. And, great that it was just a small walk to two of the awesome grocery stores and on up the street to good places to eat plus a short walk out of the back of the property over to the beach!!
We were definitely surprised that this charming Casita was 10 feet from the large owners house and just in front of the little Casita patio was very back of a huge building that had a clothing wash machine room, next a shop loaded with working items and finally a big garage. Plus.....past that huge driveway was a new huge Cabo! OH OH....and the palm palapa roof on the rental Casita......yuck during night while sleeping we had bugs that dropped down on to our heads/necks while sleeping...ick.
Another GOOD talk is that the Casita is so protected from the very high wind days because of it's huge wall that surrounds the whole property so it was wonderful to sit out on the small patio table on heavy wind days. Plus.....the owners are very nice and helpful!! So enjoyed them!

Beautiful, clean, responsive, fantastic location!
Thank you for having us at your beautiful rental home! We really enjoyed our stay. The rental was very private, clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The owner was responsive when the wifi password got misplaced and you can't beat the location right in the heart of downtown Los Barriles. We would absolutely stay again given the opportunity.

Beautiful Los Barriles!!
We've gone to LB several times and have stayed in many different places and Casa Jardin is one of the best!! Anna and Stan are great hosts!! Stan listens to the best music!!! And the casita is just right for two. And within walking distance to all the great things LB has to offer!! Beautiful garden setting with the birds and iguanas right outside the door. Anna and Stan work constantly to make Casa Jardin more beautiful. We'll stay there again if they'll have us!!! Thank you both for a wonderful vacation.

Los Barriles
Los Barriles is a charming town and well worth a visit. The Casa de Jardin, the casita, is very centrally located - a block off the main street of Los Barriles and a short walk to the beach. Throughout the day and night, you will hear the sounds of Los Barilles - the traffic, crowing roosters, barking dogs and the music of others. Nevertheless, we slept rather well - spent from the day's activities. The casita does have some plumbing issues unfortunately - througout our seven day stay, the water pressure was low and the water temperature tepid at best. However, our hosts were working on this and hopefully have figured it out for their next guests. The Netflix access was a nice touch!

Conveniently located and fully appointed
My wife and I had a great stay here for three nights in February. Plenty of room, a kitchen that met our coffee and breakfast cooking needs, a patio with picnic table and shade. The beach was a short walk, as was the water purification building and market. We were also able to walk to many restaurants and shops. We had secure parking for our rental car and doors that locked on the casita. The only downside for us is we are light sleepers, the roof is a super cool being made of palm fronds but it allows all noise through. The main road is nearby along with roosters and dogs, this is an authentic neighborhood experience, nothing wrong with that as it is what it is.

The perfect spot for our vacation to try some water sports and explore the area.
Sven and Ana picked us up from the airport and showed us local spots of interest. The casita was a perfect hide away just steps away from our classes at Vela Windsports and downtown. Seemed as though we were visiting family! Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed playing music on the patio. We
will stay again for sure. Great internet service.

a great place
We had a great time at this casita. It was nice, clean and had everything we needed: great internet (which is rare in Mexico), fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor shower, shaded patio, etc. The location is great with walking distance to shopping and restaurants, we did not need a car at all. The beach is 3 minutes walk. We were kitesurfing and it was a great location for launching, right next to Vela resort. The hosts, Hanna and Stan are wonderful hospitable people who would go to extreme lengths to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.
