The altitude and position of Val d'Isere have shown yet again that it has some of the most reliable and best snow conditions in the Alps throughout the season. Amazing powder snow last season right through to the end.
A really exceptional appartment! Change over day Sunday. Centre town, 1st floor 50 sq m, fabulous views from Solaise to Face de Bellevarde. Incredible 40 sq m private terrace with furniture. Brilliant for spring ski-ing! Drop in at lunchtime for a beer in the sunshine.
Cosy well designed exceptionally sunny flat, pine or white painted ceilings and old oak beams create chalet atmosphere, always bright and warm. 2BD flat for up to 4 people, perfect for families.
Fully repainted, all soft furnishings redone, "new look" smart high quality anthracite and matching materials.
Pistes and lifts 5 min walk or bus. "Train Rouge" local free bus stops right outside, taking you to Fornet, the Rond Point for ski school, La Daille. Only few minutes' walk from central town parking, you don't need a car in Val d'Isere!
Largest supermarket in town next door, the famous Chevallot boulangerie and chocolatier opposite. Situated between shops, restaurants and free transport running all day.
Beds made up ready for arrival, clean white linen and fluffy towels. Cleaning included, all cleaning accessories provided, including bathroom toiletries.
Main bedroom with kingsize bed and sitting room have huge windows and direct access to private terrace, deck chairs and o/s furniture.
In 2nd BR quality full sized bunk beds, each with independent lighting USB ports etc. full height hanging cupboard large desk.
Kitchen open plan, superbly designed, large oven, m/w, d/w, HOT TAP, coffee machine, more than fully equipped, nothing is missing!
Modern bathroom, full height powerful shower, bath, anti mist mirror, wc.

A special « plus » : laundry room with washing and drying machines, shelves for ski accessories, more storage drawers.

Half term Val D'Isere trip

The apartment is very conveniently located right in the middle of Val and well maintained. It's barely a 5 minute walk to the slopes and also bus stop right outside. The flat is compact but well thought out and is well supplied with everything needed. Spotlessley clean. Lovely south facing terrace looking over the slopes. Not noisy despite the central location. The toilets are a little compact for those on the larger size but having two is a plus. Chris is very communicative and responsive. All in all, we had a great stay and highly recommend for a ski break.

Excellent Accommodation, perfect for a group visiting Val D’Isere

The property is very well situated, right opposite the main bus stop for the town, and a 5 minute walk from the main ski lift area (maybe 10 if you’re in your ski boots!). Chris is extremely knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to gave us some good tips and contacts while we were there to get us settled and sorted. The property itself is very well maintained, kitted out spacious. We were a group of four adults and at no point did we feel cramped. Having such a well equipped kitchen made it a pleasure to cook for a few nights, and not having to worry about towels & bed linen made those important hours sleeping very enjoyable. Chris also has two people managing the property who are local, who were very attentive and accommodating to our odd travel times. If you’re planning a stay in Val D’Isere, I would recommend staying here without hesitation. We’ll certainly be visiting again in the future!

Comfortable room, perfect location

We have had a great week and been out on the slopes ⛷ every day. The flat has been a lovely retreat in the evenings and well situated. It is very clean and well equipped with everything. Lovely apartment, conveniently located

Ideally located in the main Val d'Isere village, this lovely apartment is great for keen skiers and those looking for a central location. It's well-equipped and comfortable with a good-sized double bed and a bunk room. The kitchen is compact but there's everything you need plus there's a very handy utility room. Chris and Emile were very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Access to buses, shops, bakeries, restaurants etc is minutes away which helps after a long day skiing. Overall, a very nice stay in a lovely apartment.

Superb apartment in top central location.

Fantastic apartment and superb central location a few mins walk to the slopes. In very good condition with a great balcony with lovely views in the heart of Val. We will return again and again and Chris the owner is a delight with nothing too much trouble for her. Highly recommend.

Feels like home, back for the 4th time

Very cosy place, perfectly clean and very well-maintained, fully-equipped to cook real food, ideally located (bus stop in front, supermarket just 20 m away, best bakery and pastry shop in town just 50 m away ). The underground garage was very useful when it started snowing heavily. Would recommend it 100%.

Fantastic ski week!

Very well equipped and homey apartment in a fantastic location. Literally minutes on foot to everything. Don't need a car, only your skis! Responsive and helpful owner, personal greeting upon arrival and everything one needs. Will be back again soon!

Very comfortable apartment ideal for family of 4. Fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom with ample living space and expansive external terrace with a southern, sunny perspective and beautiful views. Ideally positioned in the centre of the village with bus stops outside the door for the excellent free service to all local destinations. This minimises any walking in ski boots and carrying skis to quickly access all the main ski lifts.

Pleasent apartment to spend your holiday!

If you want to enjoy Val d'sere city while also living close to the slopes then this is the place to stay! The apartment is located right in the city center, which means that shopping facilities, restaurants and bars is located literally out the front door. You have to walk about 4 minutes to the slopes, from where you can easily go to Tignes, La Daille, Val Claret etc. On top of that, Chris is very helpful and can answer basically every question you have whether it is in regards to restaurants or 2 day off-piste skiing.

Perfect apartment for 4

We had a wonderful week in Val d'Isere, the apartment is so conveniently located smack in the center of everything, shops, bus stations etc New kitchen and bath really nice and functional. Huge balcony gives privacy and more space. It was nice to wake up and see all the mountains and ski slopes from the bed! Very meticulous owner makes sure your stay is at its best and easy. The covered parking space was also is really good thing because of all the snow we had!

Very nice apartment in a central location

We spent a week in Chris' apartment, the location is perfect, the apartment is very nice, surprisingly roomy, and with the wonderful bonus of the terrace overlooking the village and Bellevarde. Chris was extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back if we can.

Cosy apartment in central location

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Chris's apartment in Val D'Isere. The flat is perfect for a family with 2 kids, happy to sleep in bunk beds. The living area, although small, has everything you need for a ski holiday (including BBC). It is cosy, clean, bright and centrally located. The flat is close to the ski hire shops, 5 minutes from the slopes and right by all of the bars and restaurants on the main street. There is a lovely coffee / health food shop downstairs from the building and a supermarket next door. We loved the view from the living room. At night we would watch the piste bashers move up and down the runs and during the day, the big wide vista was simply stunning to look out on. Chris was wonderful to deal with, prompt, accommodating and you can tell that she really cares that her guests are comfortable during their stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would return again.

A Good Deal

Great location. Good value. Centre of Town. A short walk from main lifts. Very close to ski hire, eateries, food shops, airport bus stop. Sparklingly clean. Came with everything I needed. Have been three times. Each time the owner has improved something, bathroom refit one year, new kitchen the next etc. She is businesslike and charming to deal with. Would certainly recommend to friends.

I have skied Val d'Isere for well over 50 years, know it well in the summer time, and bought this flat 20 years ago to make it into "my place". I am delighted to be able to share it with you. My daughter in law did all the soft furnishings, see the photos for quality of materials and design. Now happily retired and remarried my husband and I ski there early December, January and March allowing me to rent it out to pay the bills! I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

If you're looking for total peace and quiet with no bars, few young and are more interested in who is walking around town in a fur coat, then I would not advise Val d'Isere. But if you really want to be centrally based in one of the top ski resorts in the world, with a greater guarantee of being able to ski when other places are closed, Val d'Isere is for you.

Ease of access to the slopes, bus stops in either direction immediately outside the flat, take you to either end of the ski transport system (La Daille or Fornet) or centre of the slopes for the many many ski schools, then take the bus to the Rond Point and find your meeting point.

You have every shop you might need on the doorstep in particular the world famous Chevallot boulangerie a step away, fresh croissants and bread in the morning and if you can resist their mouth watering chocolate cakes and patisseries in the afternoon you are a stronger soul than most!

The fantastic 40 sq m private terrace sets the property back from the road but still provides picture post card views of the slopes and the town in front from early morning to late at night when the slopes are lit with lazers and busy with machines preparing the pistes for you the next day.

There are no high buildings opposite to block your view, this is truly a perfectly situated flat.

What makes this property unique

1. 40 sq m private terrace for small children to play, big children to sit out have a beer at lunch time or end of the day, everyone to build snowmen.
2. Brilliant lighting and sunshine throughout the day through the large wall high windows.
3. Views of the Olymique Downhill slope from the main bedroom and living room.
4. Separate wash room with washing machine, separate tumble dryer and shelving for all the wet things you bring in from ski-ing. Throw them in every day.
5. Quality bed linen and towels. Beds made up for arrival.
6. Also on arrival: liquid hand wash, toilet rolls, toilet cleaner, detergents for dish washer and washing machine, rubbish bin liners even full range of dried herbs left by the owner!
7. Recently designed brand new kitchen, hot tap, spacious work surface.
8. Bus stops up and down and to the Rond Point right outside the flat.
