Relaxing Bayfront Villa

This place totally blew my family and I away- from the location to the view to the beautifully decorated and quaint little home this place was perfection!!! If you are looking for a nice little, peaceful getaway- this is for you!! It wasnt too warm due to the time of year but while we were here the home was nice and cozy and there are 2 sliding glass doors that you can open up to get the most breathtaking view and breeze from the bay! The outside space is perfect for families to relax, cook out and enjoy the views. We got to do a little crabbing as well which my daughter absolutely loved! Everything is included (well except for the bait!) there is also seating under a nice big covered deck with a heated table! Close to all the shops and restaurants in Stone Harbor! We will definitely be back during the warmer months to enjoy more crabbing and maybe even try some kayaking! ;)

Great stay on the Backwaters

We had a great stay on the tidal backwaters. The house was super clean, well-stocked and equipped, and everything was as advertised. Host communication was excellent. Great location for visiting various Cape May area locations. We particularly enjoyed the large covered deck and some awesome sunsets. Hope to return.

Paradise in Stone Harbor

My family loves back bay vacationing. We have rented other properties along this strip in the past but this was by far the best. Property owner is very responsive. The property is beautiful. Modern layout, everything is updated, charming decor. We never left! We kayaked daily (provided), went crabbing (provided) and dined on the deck with a beautiful view of the back bay and all the creatures that inhabit it. My kids even saved a few turtles! We will definitely come back!

Michigan meets New Jersey!!

My little family from Michigan, (my husband, our 2 yr old, and I), have been trying to get to Philadelphia for over a year to visit my brother... but I was not feeling the big-city-vibe with a wild & crazy toddler at the moment. So, I looked up the closet area on the ocean to Philly I could possibly find and talked my brother into meeting us there-- and it worked!!!!! I found Frank's place, (only just over an hour from Philly), and we had a mini family reunion on the Jersey Shore! Ha! It was an AMAZING LOCATION!!!!! We spent a lot of time at the Stone Harbor beach off 93rd Street; an entire day at the Wildwood Boardwalk & Morey's Pier; explored Cape May beaches & shops several times, including putt-putt golf at Sunset Beach; enjoyed dinner at The Watering Hull, & Stone Harbor Bar & Grill, and coffee at Cafe Noir. .... But my favorite part was the actual house and THAT COVERED DOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! We kayaked and crabbed off that dock, and had a fire almost every night. It was awesome. Thank you for opening up your house to our family, Frank!! We can't wait to plan our next trip! There's so much to see and do on the shore! This was absolutely the EXACT vacation-vibe that my family was searching for!! Thank you, again!! --The Lacys

The backyard getaway is the absolute perfect rental!!!

Whether your crabbing off the dock or watching sunsets, or roasting s’mores with the family or friends, you can’t get better than this. Sipping wine and having cocktails to end the day was delightful. We had the best time ever here and would definitely go back. Stone Harbor is a beautiful town to see!!! Lisa c

Great property and great location!

Frank’s place was a perfect get away for a long weekend with my kids. The bedrooms are all nicely sized and the beds are comfy. The place is well appointed, maintained, clean, and decorated with some quirky and fun art pieces. The dock in the back and the view of the water is lovely. The location is great....only a mile from town center. And Stone Harbor is one of the most fantastic spots at the Jersey Shore, without question. Quick and pretty 15 min drive to Wildwood for gaming and boardwalk fun. Frank is responsive and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect Fall Escape

If you like water and beautiful views of nature and the bay, this is a perfect place. Kayaking, paddle boarding right off the dock with incredible sunsets off of the covered deck. Owner is very easy to work with and description of the property accurate. We loved our stay!!

Perfect getaway by the bay!

We go to Stone Harbor and Avalon every year, but had always stayed on the island in the past. This year we decided to try across the bridge, and I have to say, we really loved it! The house is very cute and clean. The owner is very nice, responsive, and easy to work with. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the covered dock and going kayaking. It is a quick trip over the bridge to 96th Street in Stone Harbor. It was just the two of us, but there is plenty of space for a family to enjoy the house. I would highly recommend visiting this property if you have the chance, and look forward to returning in the future.

NIRVANIA

the most relaxing, stress free, beautiful environment that I can not say enough about. Charming, pretty, clean home with everything you need. You feel at home immediately. The birds are amazing. We caught 12 large blue crabs in one hour and catch/release the fish. Fireworks seen right on your deck. Gorgeous beach, great for kids with a sand bar. AC and Cape May are minutes away. Fun shopping and eating in Stone Harbor. For once I did not want to go home. I still miss the enjoying the tidal canal and sun sparking on the water. Owner is warm and responsive.

Beautiful sunsets and scenery on the canal

My family stayed for a week and we loved every minute of our stay. The home and location was everything we thought it would be. Very close drive to many stores and bait shop when things are needed. The home was nicely set up with three nice sized bedrooms with an awesome view even from the living room as well. AC units were ice cold !! We spent countless hours on the dock hanging out swimming, kayaking, crabbing & fishing. I caught two nice sized stripers from the dock one night that went back to swim another day. The crabs were not so lucky and they were plentiful and big. Beautiful fireworks to be seen from the dock on Friday nights @ 10pm from across that water in NW If I didn't have kids that wanted to go visit NW boardwalk and beach to meet their friends, I would have never left the dock and house, so relaxing and quiet!!!! Frank the owner was a pleasure to deal with from the start and there was always great communication between us. I already had a few friends questioning where we were staying and wanted the owners information to stay here. We will definitely be back but it will be for two weeks next time. Thanks again Frank

Never disappoints!

This is our 3rd stay at the 'best find' on the Jersey Shore. We spent hours on the the dock, kayaking, swimming, crabbing, and watching the birds go by. Cottage was spotless and remains beautifully decorated. Would not even dream of renting in town again.

Best kept secret in NJ

This was our 2nd year and definitely will not be our last. The dock alone makes this home worth every penny! This home is beautifully decorated, well equipped, and spotless. Not only are the owners wonderful to deal with, they leave beach tags, chairs, kayaks, crab traps, basically anything you could think of! We spent countless hours on the dock. The beach could not be more convenient (a straight shot from the house) with cheap parking, bathrooms, and a snack shack. You can not go wrong with this vrbo. Thank you an amazing week.

Perfect vacation location, and lovely home.

This was our nicest beach week ever. I was born in 1954 and until Grandmom passed away in 1996, summer at the beach was the grandparents (now) multi million dollar home on a Stone Harbor Bay that they got in 1939. I did not think any place could ever be nicer than that home. In recent years for budgetary reasons we rented on the Delaware Bay, a short drive over to SH beach, but decided this year to try the causeway. This location is nicer than the multi million dollar home in Stone Harbor. Seriously! At high tide the swimming is maybe 15 degrees warmer than the ocean. You can look out the back and see herons, egrets, skimmers, and little peeps at low tide. The marshes stretch out for miles. Hubby is a biker and loved it. Less than 2 miles to SH, or go the other way to Courthouse and down the bike trail. He didn't drive all week. The beaches are close. SH beaches ( unlike OC or WW) have a perfect rating for clean water without any EPA effluent violations. Why risk e coli. The house is pretty and comfortable with everything you need for a vacation week. We had some relatives visit and there is plenty of extra parking across the street. Next year we hope to go twice, it was that nice!

The house was beautifully decorated, clean and refreshing. This was by far our best vacation at Stone Harbor. Watching the sunsets on the deck, and the views from the living room were gorgeous. Our kids had a blast kayaking and crabbing. Everything about this house was perfect!

Our stay on Stone Harbor Blvd. on the bay was great!

This house was clean, newly refurbished and in great condition, a “hidden jewel” just outside of Stone Harbor. We chose the area because we have vacationed for many years with friends who have a home in Stone Harbor city. However, the location of this house we found to be more desirable than being in town! The covered dock, coupled with the nice open sun drenched deck – provided the best of both worlds for sun lovers and those who love the ocean breeze. The owners have provided for anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation. Two big containers of books for beach reading, several games and puzzles for family bonding, conveniences such as hooks on back of every door, fully stocked kitchen with spices, cutting boards, all utensils, gas grill with full propane, wine glasses and crab utensils. Crabbing from the dock was steady and very enjoyable. Swimming or kayaking right from the dock was great also. The beach is exactly 1.5 miles away, we often rode bikes into town. Thank you for sharing your home with us , We will definitely be back next year.
