character cottage completely renovated, very quiet, comfortable, private swimming pool 10x5 (shared with owner), in a very small village (Pasturat), with an exceptional view of the cliffs and the valley, very close to Saint Cirq Lapopie and nearby many tourist sites. Ideal for lovers of old stones wanting the tranquility of a small peaceful village.

Good and simple cottage

We stayed there with my wife and young daughter for a week. Pros: - Really good location to explore the area (plenty to do within 20min and close to a village with shop and boulangerie) - Great swimming pool, fairly big with great views - Really nice and helpful host, shared a lot of info on what to do in the area Cons: - Furniture a bit basic but functional - Kitchen was a bit tricky to use as not a lot of equipment (ie only one chopping board, not kitchen towel) and worktops are in stone which marks with pretty much anything so quite stressful to use - Views on the pictures on the ad is only from a small corner of the garden. Weed killer is being used on part of the garden which may be an issue for some customers I saw a lot of comments on the house getting hot if outside temperature is high. We did keep the living room windows and curtain closed during the day and we were fine, the house remained cool.

Un peu décevant

Maison assez jolie mais pas isolée donc avec la chaleur de l'été, la pièce à vivre est suffocante et pas utilisable. L'extérieur est mal éclairée ce qui ne permet pas de profiter des soirées dehors quand la nuit tombe: pour faire des jeux nous avons du utiliser une lampe de poche...nous ne pouvions pas non plus passer la soirée dans le salon à cause de la chaleur. Les propriétaires, sur ces deux points, ont entendus mais pas proposés de nous prêté ni une lampe ni un ventilateur. La piscine n'était pas tout à fait en libre accès ce qui n'était pas prévu ni écrit dans l'annonce.

Heel goed

Het huis was geweldig, didier en zijn vrouw waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geweldig zoutwater zwembad. Omgeving heel mooi. Ik wil toch een minpuntje geven. Als je wat slecht ter been bent, is de weg naar het zwembad heel steil,bij het zwembad zelf 12 betonnen treden naar beneden toe. Terug lopen was best moeilijk. Het is maar een paar meter lopen maar toch moeilijk voor wat oudere mensen. Voor de rest was het prachtig. Ik zou het zeker aanbevelen aan anderen. Dank je wel didier voor een mooie tijd in pasturat

La vue est effectivement magnifique,mais malheureusement cela ne suffit pas! La piscine n'est pas à partager, mais a utiliser quand le propriétaire n'y est pas (nous avons été obligé de quitter les lieux à 3 reprises) Le logement est spacieux,mais pas de volets dans la pièce principale,il fait donc une chaleur épouvantable en période de canicule,nous avons du acheter un ventilateur et des protections contre la chaleur à mettre aux fenétres pour avoir un peu de fraicheur,et pour finir le propriétaire nous demande 2 jours après notre départ, le remboursement (35 euros)d'un matelas de transat déjà très usagés,alors que nous n'en avions déjà pas 1 par personne! La literie est également vieillissante.Ce logement ne mérite pas 3 étoiles.

Calme et tranquilité

Nous avons séjourné 3 semaines avec au programme vélo, rando, des visites et surtout du repos. Le gite se trouve dans le village de Pasturat est équipé de l'essentiel, très bonne literie et frais la nuit en cette période de canicule et à 5 minutes de St Géry pour l'alimentation, la pharmacie et le marché des producteurs du dimanche matin. Tout proche de la vallée du Célé , des grottes de Pech Merle , St Cirq-Lapopie . Nous avons bien profité de la piscine pour nous rafraichir au retour de nos activités et apprécié la vue sur les magnifiques falaises au loin.

Séjour à Pasturat

Bon début de séjour qui se termine en très mauvais terme avec le propriétaire au sujet du manche télescopique de la piscine, déjà bien usagé, que mes enfants auraient cassé. J'accepte de payer le nouveau (50 euros !) , et voici qu'on me demande 9,70 euros de déplacement pour le déplacement à Cahors à 17 km. Je leur ai dit que je trouvais cela abusif et les ai quand même payés. Ils continuaient à râler. J'ai tourné les talons et nos relations se sont terminées ainsi.

Piscine avec vue et calme du hameau

Agréable location, très propre et pratique, avec vue imprenable sur la vallée et le causse. La piscine avec vue sur la petite église est superbe. Les propriétaires sont charmants et prévenants. Une base idéale pour visiter Cahors, la vallée du Célé ou St Cirq-Lapopie.

Séjour excellent dans une très belle région.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, le gîte de part sa situation, est idéal. On ne se lasse pas de la vue, à tout moment de la journée. Le gîte est bien équipé et conforme au descriptif ; enfin les propriétaires sont sympathiques.

Owner could not do enough for us. Great Location. Lots of places to visit. Just wish we knew it a blank canvas and need to bring sheets etc. Lovely weather, good restaurants in 2 nearest towns

Very rural property in a beautiful setting

The property was a lovely, if rustically basic, converted barn, ideal for 4/5 people. Shares the owners swimming pool, although we had it to ourselves at all times, think the owners used it after 9 in the evening. Basic but fully equipped, but now with wifi!! Didier the owner very nice and helpful. Village has no amenities/shops, but St Gery, 5 mins drive across the river has a small shop, with most of the basics, boulangerie, and a small market on sunday mornings. For larger supermarkets you will need to travel to Cahors [20 min drive] Whole region is very rustic and rural, and a wonderful and spectacularly beautiful area. Things to do: St Cirq Lapopie - wonderful old village, but not much to do Rocamadour - Historic town an hours drive, very interesting and worth a days visit Bouziers - Riverside village with historic walk along the river tow-path. Beware of the bridge Grottes des Pech-Merle Need to book, we didnt as had used up all its visitors by lunchtime Cahors - again worth a day You will need to bring linen and towels, and a car

Idyllic location for a beautiful stay

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed. The owners were very friendly and helped us along with out poor french. We loved the old building and the beautiful surroundings. The place was clean and tidy and very nicely decorated. Lot is an amazing region and we loved our days out and about exploring. Pool was nice but we were maybe a bit late in the year to get the full benefit of it.

Prima nette woning en ideaal centraal gelegen

We hadden een wandel boekje ' one day walks in de lot' en zochten een onderkomen. Dit was voor ons een ideale plek om van hier uit onze wandelingen te doen af gewisseld door bezoeken aan diverse mooie plaatsen. S avonds was het zwembad een heerlijke opfrisser. Kortom een ideale plek met mooi uitzicht

Idéal pour sa tranquillité

Le gîte et la piscine sont très bien entretenus par les sympathiques propriétaires Jo et Didier, qui seront vous indiquer les bonnes adresses. L'environnement est très tranquille, vous êtes à proximité des sites à visiter. Repos assuré. Bienheureux les futurs vacanciers !
