We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Rock Lodge. The property is very clean and well equipped with kitchen essentials and extra bedding/linens if needed. There are plenty of board games and books to keep you entertained if the weather keeps you inside. Fortunately, we had perfect weather while we were there. The artsy touches throughout were a joy and the wind chimes on the porch created soft music with the breeze. The view from the large porch is spectacular. We started and ended our days enjoying the tranquility while sitting on the porch. It’s a bit of a drive to the closest grocery store in Jasper, so be sure to stock up on groceries before you arrive. All other cooking essentials are available, including basic spices.
The cabin is nice and well equipped and the location is very beautiful. We had some issue finding the cabin as we arrived very late in dark and google map didn’t give up the precise location. Interestingly, the address on google map got corrected the next day. Anyway you better consider the guide from the owner too.
Nice peaceful spot. The house was well equipped and we enjoyed exploring the property.
We enjoyed our time at Cedar Rock visiting with our close friends. The location provided a tranquil and peaceful setting and was reminiscent of visiting grandma's house out in the country.

Cute & Quaint
Great home base for our short weekend of hiking in the area. Kitchen had all the essentials for cooking our own meals. Loved the wind-chimes with the windows open in the morning!

The owner gave great directions to the lodge. It was clean and had just had some remodels done to it. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time. It was very quite and peaceful.

Quiet and close to climbing
Gail was very responsive. Sorry we missed meeting you. We enjoyed the closeness to Alum Cove Trail and Round Top Mountain Trail. Whitaker Point and Hawksbill Crag was a short scenic drive away. Perfect spot if you want to unplug from technology. House has internet if you just can't resist being off the grid the entire time. Our beagle Hoagie loved exploring the area. My only concern were the dogs from the other houses in the area coming over uninvited

We really enjoyed our stay!
Our purpose was to get away from Florida and see some fall colors. It was a perfect place to stay and get away from it all! It was beautiful, clean, spacious, all the comforts of home. We loved the bbq and fire pit and seeing lots of wildlife there. We drove all over the place in the ozark from hot springs, diamond crater to Eureka Springs. Wish we had more time to just spend more time at the cabin...next time! Thanks Gail

Excellent experience
Gail was extremely responsive and the lodge was perfect. It was quiet and secluded. Everything that we needed was there and it was clean and comfortable. It is exactly what me, my wife and our pup needed. Would recommend to anyone needing a relaxing getaway and to put their technology down to enjoy the outdoors. The grill and fire pit made every night under the stars so nice too! We will for sure be back!

Beautiful Ozark Property
Cedar Creek Lodge is a well-furnished and very clean cabin tucked away in the Ozark Mountains with quiet serenity, lots of deer and a magnificent star show at night. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Gail was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We will be back to this wonderful Ozark retreat.

Beautiful scenery and close proximity to hiking trails.
The cabin is cozy and clean. The old style of home reminded me of my childhood at grandma’s.

Peaceful Setting, Beautiful View
The property was ideal for us, traveling with our dog. She enjoyed exploring the 40 acres, sunning herself by the back porch, and settling into it like a second home.
Via the Internet, we got GPS coordinates for two waterfall hikes that begin down the road behind the cemetery across the street: Cub Creek Falls and Lonesome Hollow Falls. Both were beautiful, and we enjoyed the adventure feel of bushwacking our way down to them. We don't recommend taking the dog to them, though, as a small section of each was steep. We were glad we had left Bug confined at the property for the hour each hike took.
Bug did explore Richland Creek, Pedestal Rocks, and Alum's cove with us, though, all just a short drive from the property.
The home is a basic farmhouse, no frills, but somehow it feels like visiting Grandma's house for the week as a kid. No worries, just peaceful play and relaxation in a beautiful natural setting.
