Beautiful Complete Rental Condo with Magnificent Views
This property is fantastic, the most complete and beautiful VRBO experience we have enjoyed. Great gated location close to the SPI causeway, close to lots of restaurants and activities, two pools, hot tub, tennis court, private entrance to beach, seventh floor condo-wide balcony with an unparalleled view of the ocean and the sunrise. We had a few minor issues that were quickly resolved with the property manager. We recommend this property without reservation, it is a great value for what you receive. Unfortunately the corona virus pandemic put a little cloud over our vacation experience, but that was no fault of the property, and we were able to enjoy its many amenities even as much of the surrounding area was beginning to close down. A couple of thoughts: (1) The condo property is in back of a beach store and the Comfort Suites motel and the entrance road is a little hard to find at first. Also the speed humps within the property are massive, but sure not to hit them from much more than a dead stop. (2) It would be helpful if the property management people would provide some written instructions about operating some of the features. This unit had a combination of automatic and manual exterior shutters which we had never worked before; five remotes in front of the main TV of which only one was required once we understood how it operates; and a microwave that even the property manager did not know how to operate completely. (Hey every microwave is different!) (3) During our stay for the month of March no more than half of the condo units seemed to be occupied (no competition for pool chairs) and a good deal of maintenance work with drills, hammers, sanders, etc. seemed to be in progress. It was a little distracting at times. I'm not sure if this is some kind of annual maintenance period or if we just happened to cross paths with an occasional maintenance/upgrade project. (4) One thing that was unclear to us was when, if ever, we were supposed to contact the condo residence office rather than the VRBO property manager. Once or twice we went into the residence office on-site to report something like the hot tub not working which report they received, but we were never quite sure if we were supposed to make any contact with this office even when it seemed it was the most logical place to deal with our issue.
