Villa Azalea - Beautiful villa with private heated pool, A/C,WIFI and sea view

Peaceful semi-detached villa with private pool and sea views towards Marina Rubicon and Fuerteventura.

The villa has a full Viviendas Vacacionales licence .

Located approximately 20 minutes walk from the marina, where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars and a short taxi ride from the centre of Playa Blanca.
The famous golden sand beaches of Papagayo are a short drive away.

The villa is well appointed and now benefits from air conditioning units in both bedrooms and the lounge - these are coin operated. It has a private pool with pool heating included and an enclosed rear garden. Bike racks are available should you wish to hire bicycles to explore the local area.
The large patio has an alfresco dining area, sun loungers, outdoor seating and a BBQ.
Inside there are 2 bedrooms, the ground floor bedroom, overlooks the pool where there are twin beds situated next to the downstairs shower room.
The upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed with doors leading to the large balcony with patio furniture, an ideal space for a pre-dinner drink, the large bathroom with walk in shower is also located upstairs.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, hoover, iron and board.
The lounge leads onto the patio and has a dining table and sofas, a Samsung Smart TV with UK TV channels and a DVD player.
The villa has WIFI which is included in the rental price
Towels, bedlinen and a hairdryer is provided.

Beste Zeit leider schon vorbei!
Das Haus hat seine beste Zeit gehabt. Es war akute Feuchtigkeit (nach starken Regenfällen, war auch durch die Vermieterin angekündigt) im Haus an einigen Wänden und alles schon ein bisschen abgewohnt, aber soweit okay und funktionstüchtig. Da die Klimanlage per Münzeinwurf funktioniert konnten wir den feuchten WÄnden nichts entggegenstellen. Sehr freundliche Poolreiniger, die die zunächst abgestellte Poolheizung wieder in Gang gebracht haben, der klein aber fein im Hof zur Verfüging steht. Die Lage ist außerhalb des Orts, längerer Spaziergang zum einkaufen und Meer ist aber möglich. Die Insel, wie immer, sensationell schön.

Would recommend, however…..
Ideal villa for max 4 adults. Has everything you need except for cushions on sun beds and moveable shade (parasol). Both of these were in pictures of villa but not available. A lesson learned, don’t trust what you see, question everything. This was down to the owners. Pool was dirty for the whole 10 days. Pool cleaner wasn’t capable to clean it following sand storm 3 weeks prior. Told us to disturb the dirt on bottom of pool to get it through the filters. So swam in dirty waters (not swam actually as not big enough), but dirt just came back through the filters. Had friends staying in another villa just across the wasteland from back of this villa, and friends at the Barcelo hotel at the same time, pools were spotless. Would still recommend as the villa was otherwise perfect. Just unable to give it a 5 rating. Btw, loved the location too.

Le patio extérieur est très joli , bien mis en valeur la nuit avec un éclairage paysagé. Les équipements extérieurs sont nombreux et la table pour déjeuner est ombragée. La piscine chauffée est un peu petite et peu profonde. L’intérieur est aussi bien équipé mais un peu sombre et vieillot.. Globalement l’ensemble est trop cher pour la prestation

Wonderful Villa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Azalea The property has everything needed to have all the benefits of spending time at the pool and really comfortable Sun beds and pool side furniture We were there for second half of August and needed to use the air conditioning at night in the bedrooms but during the day the breeze through the home was wonderful Walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Marina Rubicon and very reasonable for taxis from the Centre of Playa Blanca The Villa was really safe and peaceful adding up to a fantastic stay Would highly recommend

Property has everything you need. In terms of location your a 3 minute drive from the local supermarket, bars, restaurants and beach. If you were were to walk you are are 20 to 30 mins away. There is not a negative to this property!!!!

Good stay but poor price vs quality
Booking true VBRO was easy and communication with Liz was good. Instructions received how to reach the house and how to enter were very clear and accurate. The house is equipped with the equipment needed and the pool is very nice. The house and furniture is old and you can see its used a lot. Air-condition is available but you must add 2- or 1-euro coins to make use of it. Maybe better to advertise it this way (as an option). As the nights were warm, we wanted to wash the bedsheets and to our shock we found out that in one off the beds on the ground floor the sheets below that were very dirty like someone puked and it was completely dirty till the mattress. I reported this to Liz and she discussed it with her local manager. A poor message with we do apologize but we have no idea how this is possible was the reaction. No visit from the local manager to check in and see it herself or whatever. The feeling we had with that is sorry but no sorry and good luck. Overall, we had a good stay but I have my doubt if I look at price vs quality. It was not bad but also not very good.

Lovely holiday
Great Villa, lovely pool and good sized outdoor area - plenty of room for 4 people- good location. Very do-able 20 minute walk to Marina Rubicón restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend and we will be rebooking.

Very Nice Villa & Pool
A very nice villa and pool. We hired a car for the two-week period so that made it easy to get food shopping and go out and see the sights. Although it is possible to do the pleasant walk to the supermarket and Marina Rubicon it is a little bit far. The villa does look a little tired and shows it has had lots of use. For instance, ground floor bathroom grouting, washing machine and sofas could all do with a refresh. Owners and Management Agents are very friendly and helpful. Bed linen & towel change as expected mid stay.

Perfecte vakantie
Fantastische villa. Een hoekhuis met veel buitenruimte is een afgesloten villapark. Heel fijn huis als je met vrienden bent. Wij als echtpaar hadden de bovenverdieping en vriendin beneden. Werkelijk alles om een vakantie fijn te maken was aanwezig in het huis. Heerlijk verwarmd zwembad, prima WIFI beneden, (boven hadden we geen Wifi, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem) fijn buitenmeubilair, goed uitgeruste keuken met alle gemakken. Het enige minpuntje was een beetje luidruchtige buitenunit van de zwembad verwarming pomp. Maar dit is denk ik niet te vermijden als je lekker water wilt hebben Playa Blanca is een ontzettend leuk havengebied dat op een paar minuten rijden verwijderd ligt van de villa. Daar is het lekker gezellig terwijl het bij de villa zo heerlijk rustig is. Leuke marktjes en lekkere restaurantjes. Voor goed boodschappen doen moet je in de SuperDino zijn. Daar kan je alles vers kopen icl vleeswaren, vlees, vis, en groente. De HyperDino in het haventje heeft dat niet. De eigenaresse Liz is erg aardig en beantwoordt alle vragen. Ter plekke is Jenny de manager ook te bereiken voor vragen. Heel fijn. Halverwege verblijf kwam er een schoonmaakploeg dat het hele huis doorging waarna alles weer super schoon was en de bedden weer opgemaakt en we weer schone handdoeken hadden. Ook om de 4 a 5 dagen komt er een poolman langs om schoon te maken Top locatie. Wij plannen nu al weer ons tweede bezoek in Villa Azalea

Vacation in Villa Azelea
We have just enjoyed a ten day break in the villa -- just the two of us so the second room wasn't used. Villa Azelea is a very pleasant, unoverlooked property on the outskirts of Playa Blanca. Approx half an hour walk (4 mins drive) to the Rubican Marina with all it's restaurants and bars. The heated pool was very nice. The property was well equipped with a range of kitchen equipment and a BBQ. Unfortunately when we arrived the house key was in it's place but the main gate key was missing. We called the manager and she immediately responded and came round with a spare key for us. She was very pleasant and helpful telling us all about the island and a few places to go to. We had a car for our entire stay which allowed us to travel all around the island which is spectacular with the volcanoes and nice little villages, especially in-land and away from the main tourist areas. I guess this is typical with other villas but we thought a small "welcome pack" would have been useful as the first thing we had to do was go out shopping. It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea on arrival but this is a minor detail. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to others.

Schönes Haus
Wir waren in 01/24 mit zwei Erwachsenen in der Villa Azalea und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Häuschen ist gut und liebevoll ausgestattet ( insb. die Küche). Ordentliche Handtücher und es war sauber. Die Lage ist etwas abseits, ausschließlich Häuser, ein Auto ist ratsam. Es war sehr ruhig, was wir sehr genossen haben. Wunderbar ist der Outdoorbereich, mit dem kleinen Pool und den ordentlichen Möbeln. Kommunikation mit der Agentur vor Ort war sehr gut. Etwas irritierend war die umfangreiche Vertragsregelung im Vorfeld. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag : WLAN auch im oberen Stockwerk. Wir empfehlen das Haus mit ruhigem Gewissen weiter.

Great property
Really nicely presented. Pool cleaned regularly and towels/sheets changed. Has everything you need. Location great for us, 10 minutes to our favourite local bar and 15 from the marina. Walkable to playa Blanca too. Only tiny negative was the sofas need replacing. Lovely outdoor furniture and sun loungers with padding :-). Thank you Villa Azalea, we will book again!

Excellent villa ,we will be back
We have stayed in numerous villas in this complex with another company but this villa had much more personal touches and equipment. Being on the end of a block you have so much outdoor space but not as windy as others on the end and outside equipment good quality and would be ideal if two couples stayed here as wouldn’t feel on top of each other. Gutted we haven’t booked here in March 2024 but will be first on our list when we book again. Excellent villa and great location , only issue is I wish we were still there!

Lovely villa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Azalea for a much needed break with the bonus of some excellent weather. The villa was clean, comfortable, well presented providing all that we required. The kitchen was well equipped with much more than just the bare minimum provided in many other villas we have stayed at. The area is nice and quiet on the outskirts of the town but within easy reach of the centre. The villa offers a good level of privacy and the outside furnishings were good. As per a previous review we did have the problem with the TV buffering making it unwatchable a few times. All in all, a very good villa and we are seriously considering a return in 2024.

Great Villa
We had a great time at the Villa everything you need is supplied. The pool was great, nice and warm but not too hot to cool you down. The bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. We did not use the kitchen for cooking although there were plenty of pots pans and utensils. The outdoor space was very private with no neighbours to the rear of the property. We did hire a car for convenience but Rubicon Marina was not too far away which is walkable. Everything was clean, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, bed linen, towels etc except for behind the tv probably the staff left that due to the internet system been there. The only thing in the lounge was the sofa could do with an update. Outside furniture was comfortable as were the loungers. The only criticism was it was hard to watch English tv due to the constant buffering. We did call the person dealing with this and tried everything but to no avail. Jenny called in the next day the villa manager on the day before we left and said it was better to watch catch up tv. She was very helpful. As we had no idea how to put catch up on the tv we did not bother been the last night. We would definitely come to this villa again.

The villa is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet and yet it is within walking distance of shops and the marina. And close to Playa Blanca with more shops and restaurants... The villa itself has everything you need - it was perfect!

Relaxing holiday
The villa was absolutely delightful with its exquisite design and high quality amenities. I thoroughly enjoyed starting my mornings with the Krups coffee machine. The pool was flawless, and Raj diligently inspected it every few days. While some have mentioned the 20 minute walk, we found a short cut across the wasteland that made a significant difference. The Marina and Playa Blanca were stunning, and I highly recommend visiting the beautiful Playa Dorado beach. Overall, the holiday was incredibly enjoyable.

Villa Azalea was ideally situated in a quiet, secluded area, just a short distance from the popular Rubicon Marina. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped..The combination of sea air, sunshine and memory foam mattress, ensured a good night’s sleep. We have holidayed on Lanzarote for many years, but when we came to Playa Blanca we knew it was the area we wanted to be in.
We love the year round sunshine and the relaxed atmosphere that quickly melts away the stresses and strains of modern life.

We bought this property because of its view and the ease of getting around this beautiful and varied island.
Its closeness to the beaches of Papagayo , the shops and restaurants of the Marina and the centre of Playa Blanca.

What makes this property unique

I never tire of watching the ferries go back and forth between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and the sea view is just beautiful.
