A great spot to stay for a family wedding in town! We enjoyed the hot tub and needed help with a few things and Helen was amazing and very prompt with helping. We asked for fans and she had them the next morning!!! Amazing. Rafa (the dog) hung around and we enjoyed his company.

We had a really nice and relaxed stay. Plenty of room, a good outdoor space too. The hot tub was well used !! Friendly owner and we got a lot of visits from the family dog who kept bringing us his toys. Overall a nice place to stay. The one negative would be the size of the bath towels.

3 couples and a little dog, bank holiday weekend break
Excellent communication from Helen, she always replied really quickly and was very helpful. The barn was lovely, such a peaceful location and the hot tub was amazing! We loved using thr pool table and the table tennis table and we had some great bbqs. We walked into Eye one day and drove to Framlingham one day, both are worth a visit. We loved the little dog, Raf, who kept coming to see us. He was a great playmate for our dog! We had such a great time and loved the barn and facilities so much that we didnt want to come home! Thank you so much

Fabulous secluded property with a fab host
Amazing property. So much room and beautiful views. Hot tub to die for. Super comfy beds. Board games and DVDs galore. Helen was brilliant, the info pack sent before arrival was amazing. A lifesaver for securing a taxi during the train strikes! Our little furry visitor raffa was a delight. Everything was perfect. Thanks Helen x

Surprise hen party
We stayed at this property for a surprise hen party for my daughter and the outdoor space for socialising was great. The property provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy quality time together and we all enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was excellent and was a lovely way to finish of the day. The owner was helpful and good with communication and genuinely wants her guest to enjoy their time at the property, the little touches like tea milk etc are great Thank you for sharing this lovely home was us

Amazing! Highly recommend!
We booked a girls weekend trip for 2 of our friends 30th. We cannot explain how beautiful this location is, the bedrooms are neat and tidy and have a lot of space. The outdoor area is even more amazing, you are not overlooked as you dance the night away. The Jacuzzi is just the cherry on top for this place. We also enjoyed a game of table tennis in the sun. Helen was lovely and very helpful, available on the phone and in person if we needed anything and insisted we be as loud as we like. We would all highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.

I am so pleased we booked this holiday home.
My family wanted to come on holiday with my parents so they could spend some extra time with their grand children after the past year. My dad is disabled and both are elderly This house catered for us all. The kids had an amazing time in the games room and garden. My parents didn’t have any issues getting about the house. We had a couple of day trips out to the beach. We went out for dinner a few times in the local pubs and the food was local and delicious. Helen was so helpful. We would wake up to fresh fruit that she had picked in her garden on our doorstep. I had forgotten the kids clock so she lent us one. We could ask her for anything and she was always really helpful. Just couldn’t fault this holiday home. Hopefully we will be back again.

fabulous break
The barn had everything you could need for a comfortable fun stay. Beds are super, linen fresh and crisp. Fresh fluffy towels for all the guests. Even a hairdrier provided. Nice welcome food hamper to get us started. TV with freeview. Bring your own dvds if you have any there is a huge selection but naturally they are old and not without glitches when watching. The hot tub was lovely for the children, plus Huge trampoline and football net. Kept them busy. Kitchen very well equipped with everything, a home from home.

Good for group gatherings
We were a family of group of 5 adults, 3 children and a toddler and stayed at The Barn between Xmas and New Year 2019. The Barn is in a quiet location surrounded by lovely Suffolk countryside and a few minutes drive from Eye. The outside space is especially great for children to run around and burn off some energy and the kids especially loved the hot tub. Inside the large living room and dining area is ideal for a family gathering with ample sofa space/ playing area and dining space. The kitchen is a little small with a single oven but with some serious planning we managed to cook a full Xmas dinner for 8. There were some teething problems with the cooker and heating when we arrived but Helen let us know in advance of our arrival and sorted out repairs really quickly.

A great place for a relaxing break. Spacious property with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Great hot tub. Hosts are super-friendly and helpful. Loads to do nearby - striking distance from Norwich, Southwold, Framlingham, Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo. Plenty of family-friendly days out. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Countryside retreat
Had a lovely relaxing weekend in this lovely barn. Our party span three generations and all enjoyed it. Worked well for older generation with restricted mobility and fun in the hot tub and playing table tennis for 14 and 11 year old children. Were lucky that the weather held and had a bbq in the lovely gardens.

A spacious retreat for all weathers
7 of us stayed at the property over the bank holiday weekend. We had good and bad weather and thankfully the barn is a great place whatever the weather. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was very clean and well kept. And we enjoyed kicking a football around the large garden which is great for kids of all ages. The Kitchen is well equipped and we managed to do a mini come dine with me. There are plenty of books, games and DVDs if you want to stay in - which we did in the evenings. The owners provide a very thorough booklet of the local area and we took their recommendation of the Burston Crown pub - which was superb. Lastly this is a great place for peace and quiet and a bit of a recharge, so thoroughly recommended !

Perfect place for weekend away with friends
Lovely cottage, we stayed here on hen weekend and it was perfect for 6 girls, we could easily have 2-3 people on top as plenty of space and beds to sleep. House have everything you need, we spend lot of time sitting in beautiful garden enjoying nicely layed out flowers, out favourite was sitting in cosy summer house. :) Hot tub & bbq that are at back of the house made our stay even more enjoyable! Spend lots of time sitting in hot tub! With fairy lights on, in evening makes it really nice! Lady was super helpful answering our questions while we were there. Would highly recommended this place.

Beautiful location and property!
We stayed with friends and our baby - it was a great place to be. Spacious rooms and a wonderful outside space. Would be great for older kids as well, with all the different things to play on. Good location as you can travel across Suffolk and Norfolk to see lots of different things!

We live in Suffolk, are a family of four with horses, dog, cats and sometimes pigs. We work and run our property too because we love doing it and meeting people from around the world.

Why they chose this property

We love Suffolk. Braiseworth is small and quiet, but within striking distance of lots of amenities. It's a pretty area and the house sits on a large plot of land with its own fields and vegetable garden. We just love the space we have.

What makes this property unique

Hot tub. Views across the countryside. Great walks. Fab local pubs.
