Fantastic little place to take the family for a relaxing break. Some noise from the odd helicopter taking off and landing but apart from that brilliant little experience for the kids as well. Loved the hot tub and such a nice place to stay.

Quality lodge
Brilliant lodge, clean, spacious and well equipped. Set in lovely grounds which include a lake and a small gorge. Great for walking the dog and searching for the elusive red squirrels. Never saw one in the woods but plenty of sightings around the lodge. We all enjoyed the hot tub which was the perfect temperature. Overall a perfect location with Keilder water close by Northumberland national Park on your doorstep and the coast less than an hour away.

Lovely cabin in a stunning location
The cabin has everything you need to call it home during your stay. It is lovely and clean and had plenty of room. There are cleaning products under the sink. The TV is a smart TV with Netlix so it kept the kids entertained in the morning. There isn't a pub as such in the village but on site there is somewhere but it only opens on a Friday & Saturday. The village shop had a huge selection of drinks and food and also has a takeaway again Friday & Saturday only. We saw numerous red squirrels going by the window, a rabbit and loads of different small birds. We will certainly be coming back!

Location
We had a very relaxing quiet weekend. Hot tub was a bonus clean and hot and attended every day for cleanliness. There supposed to be five of us but only two ended up going due to poor health on the day. Had a lovely drive to kielder but I would ensure you took all your shopping with you. Tea towels washing up liquid salt pepper foil cloths all supplied and was very helpful. Had Netflix so we had a movie day/night overall a nice quiet relaxing stay.

Booked for a wedding in Otterburn, modern and spacious. I actually think the pictures do not do it justice. Really simple check in process and would recommend if you are looking to stay locally.
