Had a fantastic time at the fish camp, can’t wait to return! David gave us the insider knowledge of navigating the river out to the gulf and where we could find scallops nearby. Property was perfect!
The lodge was great...clean, spacious, very comfortable. Mornings and evenings on the balcony were beautiful and relaxing. Catching mud crabs for bait by the water was a fun game for us all. We completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Leslie and the Spring Warrior Fish Camp for anyone!
My brother and I brought our families to the Spring Warrior Fish Camp Lodge for the 4th of July week to scallop, fish, and visit. We could not have been more impressed with everything- Leslie and David went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect. We had two boats and were able to go out everyday and scallop/fish with no issues; not to mention we were able to limit out on both boats with 10 gallons of scallops each. Our family has already booked our next trip; I also encourage others to consider a guided fishing trip with David- he will not disappoint.
What a great secluded location if you are seeking peace and quiet. The Fishing was amazing! Better than Stienhatachie for sure! Not only a better bite but bigger fish. I don't think there is near a much pressure on this area as Stienhatchie. If you are after night life and city/town things not the place for you.
My family and I had a wonderful weekend at David & Leslie’s place “Spring Warrior Fish Camp” in Perry. Boat ramp is on the property, ice machine, dock, etc. David even rode out to the Gulf with my son-in-law to show him the safe route out of the river. My grand children had a blast scalloping and watching the lightning at night. It was one of those weekends where great memories were created! Thanks David and Leslie!
Not the first time we have stayed at Spring Warrior Fish Camp and as always, was great. Great location and facilities, no hesitation on booking again in the future.
This place was amazing. The cottage we had was perfect for the 9 of us. Plenty of room, kitchen fully stocked with any of our cooking needs. We will definitely be coming back. We loved it and some of the friendliest people we have ever met.
We stayed in the Lodge/stilted house for 10 guests. It was MUCH bigger than expected. The photos don't do it justice, we were very happy! Yes, there is no privacy for sleeping, but it was just what we needed. We had a great time getting to know co-owner, Kevin, & other guests as we lounged in the community area under the stilted house. Lots of ways to cookout (grill, smoker, steamer, etc), and they sell bags of ice. We had a 25' bay boat that Mary thought we'd have to launch at Keaton Beach, but we followed the tides and was able to keep the boat in the water the whole time. We plan to return!
*just remember to fill up the boat before arriving. Closest marina on the water would be Steinhatchee.
The views and location are stunning. It was a great place for our family to gather for a weekend getaway. We would definitely return and recommend it to our friends. The Ryan Family
Great spot out of the crowds during scalloping season
We had a wonderful time at Spring Warrior. The boat ramp & Dock was especially helpful.

Really nice surprise, better than I was expecting.
Friendly people, huge room and great fishing.
A little off the beaten path and no cell phone service, but that should be a good thing unless you are a teenage girl 😉

what a great place to stay
We were very pleased with our stay at the spring warrior fish camp. The staff was so nice and helpful from the moment we arrived. The lodge we rented had everything we needed and more. The scallops are just outside the bend not to far away. You will have a beautiful view in the evening with the sunset. Only one thing I would recommend, before you get there stop and get gas for your car and boat. It is several miles back after you get there. It is a camp not a lot of stuff around but fun sun and beautiful water. Can not wait to go back next year.

Fun place for a family to stay.
The house itself was clean and had a great view. What surprised us was all that there is to do. We didn't realize that it was a camp area with access to canoes and kayaks, fishing, picnic and grilling area. We only stayed one night but would love to go back. The owners were very friendly and helpful too.

Spring Warrior Lodge
This is the perfect place for friends and family to stay. The lodge is huge!! We had 6 adult men stay here and we all had our own bed. There is a boat ramp on property, and the scallops were less than 4 miles from it. We scalloped all day, then drove to steinhatchee to have our limit cleaned for us as we ate dinner. If your looking for a relaxing fishing/scalloping or just getting away from it all vacation at a great price, this is the place to go. I will definitely be going back to Spring Warrior lodge in the future, this place is awesome!! The owners are also very helpful and friendly, they live right down the street.
