Great location for exploring the Isle of Wight. Everything you need is found in the accomodation including a welcome pack. The hosts are fabulous and are very helpful. Would definately stay there again.
Small apartment close to town centre. Good parking and access. A very well equipped apartment with good cooking and food preparation facilities. Owner lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. Bedroom is small with two single beds. Would be happy to recommend to friends.

Good location, within walking distance of the seafront and Shanklin town.
Property was very compact but well appointed, clean and comfortable. Good parking space but the drive entrance was narrow and steep so that when entering or leaving, one had to be extra careful. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
A general store (Co-op) with all requirements just a few minutes away and the property is on the main bus route giving destinations to Ryde, Ventnor and Newport.
A good pub/restaurant called the Hideaway 5-10 minutes walk away situated on the clifftop was made use of on a few occasions. It offered a good menu and a wide range of beers, lagers and wines.
Lovely little property perfect for our weekend away to visit my Nan in the isle of weight.
Location was great only a short walk to old town shanklin which is a lovely little town. Only 10/15 minute drive away to near towns. Very clean property everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Would recommend!
Owners friendly and welcoming with lots of little ‘extras’ left for us. Property though very pleasant was rather cramped for two adults and weeks belongings.

Absolutely lovely host and cottage
John and Johanne are the perfekt host. They gave us a very warm welcome and made us a comfy stay.
The cottage with the little garden is very adorable. We had all what we need.
The house is situatet in a central location. You can go by feet to the sea and the little lovely town.
The little cottage is in a quite neighborhood.
The Isle of Wight is awesome. The people are very friendly and there is a lot of stuff to do. We especially loved the beautiful gardens, the lovely houses and the cute animals.
We will love to come back to the Isle and to Johannes und Johns Place.

Great apartment, location & hosts
Just returned from a week’s stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great little place to stay being conveniently located, well equipped and privately located. The owners Johanne and John were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment had some nice welcoming touches to it, even including a bottle of wine and a couple of beers in the fridge, which is nice after a long drive. Also some tea, coffee, milk etc which keeps you going until you can pop to the shop of which one is located 2 minutes’ walk away.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Lovely apartment in great location.
We stayed here with our son last week.
When we arrived the place was clean and table laid ready for dinner with a bottle of wine included. Soap and shower gels, tea and coffee were provided.
There was a twin room and and soda bed in living area. I which opens easily into a 4 foot double bed.
There is a small patio outside but due to poor weather we didn't get to use that.
The location was perfect for the seafront., restaurants and amenities. If you like walking you can walk all the way to Sandown along the seafront either on promenade or cliff tops. The owners live next door so are always on hand if need be.
We would love to return one day.

Very tastefully presented little apartment, well appointed, everything to hand. Comfortable beds too
Comfortable attractive apartment, and friendly owners who invited us to their party! Quite handy for the town once we were used to the hill. Good bus and train service and also good smooth roads to ease the driving round a busy island.

Very quiet and nice and clean
Recently we stayed at the Swiss Chalet. The apartment was very clean and in a quiet area. When we arrived the owners were very helpful and pleasant to deal with and put a thoughtful touch to the apartment.
We stayed with my 7 years old daughter and the apartment is a good walking distance to the village centre it is not a walking distance for a small child to the seaside, however there is off-street parking and car park parking available.
The location is very convenient for daily outings, attractions and it is really easy to get around the island from here.
The sleeping arrangements in this apartment are via twin beds and a sofa that converts in the lounge rather than a double bed as the description suggested.
Overall we had a pleasant experience and a nice stay.
It would have been nice if John or Johanne were there when checking out.

WE LIKED THE PROPERTY AND THE VERY LARGE PLOT IT STANDS ON. ALSO YOU ARE NEAR TO ALL AMENITIES LIKE BEACH, TOWN CENTER, TRAINS, BUS ROUTES ETC. EVERYTHING IS WITHIN 10 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE, YET THE HOUSE AND THE APARTMENT IS SET BACK AND PRIVATE
