Absolutely amazing apartment in amazing location
My family including 3 children loved staying here for four days!! Clean, safe, cozy, plenty of room, modern updated feel. We cooked several meals here with the full kitchen and utensils. All of our questions were answered promptly. We would definite stay here again and recommend this property to others. The location is excellent and is just a short walk from breathtaking hillside views of the Mediterranean Sea, multiple restaurants, and the beach. We did not want to leave. Thank you for an amazing unforgettable stay!!

Très magnifique!
Just a perfect place to stay. Fabulously located in the heart of the old city in Nice. Truly just a few steps to the beach and a few steps to the tram. Spacious, with great light, tastefully furnished, and extremely comfortable. We had a glorious 10 days stay and the apartment truly felt like home. We could not have picked a better place to stay Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

This was the perfect apartment for our group of six! We had both enough space for privacy as well as a great area for relaxing and cooking meals together. Arrival and check-in was so easy (to include being fortunate to have met the wonderful Karine). The location was great, communication was excellent, and the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry were well stocked. We have been to Nice many times and this was the best place we’ve stayed!

In the heart of Old Nice
We spent 2 weeks at No. 17 in the heart of the Veille Ville and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were three couples and appreciated the three bedrooms and three bathrooms (hard to find). We wanted to be able to walk everywhere and the location could not have been more convenient. The apartment was impeccably clean and well stocked. I will say one of the bedrooms (the one with twin beds) was smaller than the others, with minimal storage, and the bathroom for that bedroom was in the common hallway. It might have been more appropriate for kids than an adult couple, but it worked. The other two bedrooms, one a master with queen sized bed, and the other with king bed at the back of the apartment with large bathroom next door, were great. The owner Karine was very responsive by email on VRBO, and the check-in process went smoothly. We were met by the manager Sarah Jane, who was very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. We had our bakery, pasta shop and favorite coffee shops. By the end of our trip we felt like locals! Others have mentioned the noise. The apartment is on a street with three very noisy bars that do not close until 3 am, and whose patrons spill into the street shouting and singing. Closing the windows and turning on the AC or a fan help a lot, and ear plugs are supplied for any excess noise. It was the price to pay for a great location. A couple of small issues (a power failure and hot water heater reset) were dealt with immediately by Sarah Jane. A great stay!

Our October Stay In Old Town Nice
This is a nice apartment in the old town if you don’t mind some party noise and Smokey smells from the bars on the street below. Closing the windows doesn’t really help. The owners kindly left out ear plugs for us. The kitchen has been modernised which looks good but we didn’t use it as there are so many restaurants locally. It was nice to be able to do laundry during our stay. THINGS NOT SO GREAT The elevator wasn’t working for most of our stay and is only accessible above the ground level, which we were aware of. But when it isn’t working you are walking up at least 20 stairs to the apartment. This was not so good for our 2 yo granddaughter or our 75 year old selves. The AC unit in one room dripped water all over the floor so we did not use it, It is an old building and so some grace must be given to the state of the apartment but it definitely needs a deep clean. The floors were quite disgusting that actually made our barefeet dirty. The curtains that didn’t close properly smelled musty and had stains as did many of the bed throws. The bathrooms had mold on the ceilings and the sink which can’t be good for your health. We organized and paid a high price for a mid week cleaning. However totally disappointed. Only a few beds had been changed and a couple of towels. Floors and surfaces not cleaned no rubbish taken out. Poor job and the management did not deal with this appropriately. Sad to have to be negative as it is a great location for exploring the old town

Our place was great, right in center of everything. Yes, it was a bit noisy at night but ear plugs were provided and air conditioning allowed you to close windows. Great space for 3 couples!! And Nice is wonderful!!

We loved everything about this apartment. The location can’t be beat, in the middle of everything. It’s actually better than the pictures. Well stocked with everything you need to enjoy Nice. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and would definitely stay there again.

More than glad to recommend this lovely apartment! We (family of four with young adult kids) stayed almost a week in August. The location is fantastic. In old town, its a short walk to the beach. Shopping, restaurants and bars are right downstairs. There is some nightlife noise. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning is great. The kitchen is well stocked. The managers are very good. They proactively communicated, providing us with local info. They responded quickly to requests. We look forward to returning to Nice!

The house is lovely and had everything you need. It was really hot when my family and I went so thank goodness for all the air conditioning units in each room as well as one in the living area.The location is superb. Wonderful Place, Great Host
Great city apartment in a Great Location. Walk to morning cafés and evening dinners. Busy street with some noisy nights but the host supplied ear plugs and we had enough to do during the day to sleep well. Train was easy to access for day trips or getting to/from airport. Plenty of home accessories including laundry supplies, hair dryers and kitchen ware. Beautiful living area to relax with extra touch of fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Air conditioning in every bedroom and main living area with remote controls...nice touch. We enjoyed our stay with 6 adults. thanks Jane!

Great location in old town Nice.walking distance to beach, bars, and restaurants. Well appointed apartment. Comfortable beds. Comfortable furniture. There are one floor of stairs that was not disclosed. The elevator in the listing goes from first floor up. Also, there are three Irish pubs very close to the unit which are very loud until at least 1 or 2 in the morning. Again, not disclosed. Ear plugs were provided.

Lovely apartment in the old town Nice. Very central for everything. The only problem was one of the showers was flooding onto the floor of the bathroom. I informed the owner and the manager but didn't hear back from them.

Perfect girls trip accommodation in Nice
A group of 6 women (all over 45) on a long weekend to Nice. The apartment was just fab. Really nice decoration, one bathroom per bedroom, very comfortable beds (and quality bedding and pillows) and the location is amazing (right where you want to be). The only negative is it's very noisy due to being located on a busy street so some of our party struggled with the noise at night - but we knew that would be the case as you can't have that location and expect it to be quiet! The communal hallway and stairs smell of damp (again can't expect anything different as it's a lovely old building in the historic part of Nice!) and someone with health issues or who's elderly may struggle with getting suitcases up the communal stairs but none of that bothered us. We LOVED our stay in this apartment and would stay again/highly recommend it. I would also highly recommend Carmela (outside table) and Bocca Nissa (roof terrace) in Nice for dinner. Le Galet for lunch on the beach and beach beds for the day (you can book a table for food but if you want a beach bed turn up at 9am to grab one for the day). Mayssa Beach roof terrace in Villefranche for dinner. A trip to Saint Paul de Vance (get there early and have lunch after wandering around). We had lunch at Le Tilleul (service was so so but the food was amazing as was the location) or you could go to La Colombe d'Or for a little bit of history/old school glamour. With all these recommendations you definitely need to book way in advance!

Beautifully decorated apartment
We had so much fun staying at the apartment during carnaval. It’s located to all the action. It can get a bit noisy but the earplugs did the trick. Just a little walk to the prom and easy access to the tram. I would come back and stay again. Communication was great. The building is have some beautification performed inside but it didn’t affect our stay. Thank you so much for a lovely place to stay.

Why they chose this property

We are very privileged to be living abroad, immersing ourselves in new cultures, but we will eventually settle in Nice one day. We have literally fallen in love with the Old Town, the beauty of the place and the relax vibe of this historical district. We love being able to do everything and go everywhere by foot, forgetting the car and slowing down the pace of life for a little while. Isn't it what holidays are about?

My personal routine starts with a jog on the promenade des anglais early in the morning followed by a café at a terrace on the cours Saleya. I then bring back fresh bread for the rest of the family together with flowers and fruits from the market. I couldn't think of a better way to start my day.
My husband's favourite tends to be the other end of the day, a glass of wine in hand as the sun sets on Nice. La dolce vita !
