Family Cottage for Rent: 2 Water Trampolines, 2 SUP, Canoe
LOB:STR Lic #162-2023
This cottage is perfect for families with kids! The lake is a medium-small lake that is quiet with not too much boating activity and some good fishing.
We just recently did some renovations to the cottage - please see old to new photos. In addition we added Wifi to the cottage. We also recently replaced the septic tank, added a new bathroom and replaced all the dock boards.
The most important part of the cottage is the dock! We have a 450 sq. ft. dock. In addition we have two water trampolines, log and lilly pad. (NOTE: Water Trampoline only available in the Summer July and August) We also have a canoe, kayak, and two stand-up paddle boards for the guests to use. We also do have life jackets and swimming noodles for the guest to use.
The benefit of the cottage is that you do not have to rent a water trampoline or any of these other water toys. They are provided as part of the cottage.
We have Four bedrooms in the cottage.
Main Floor Bedrooms: 1. Queen Bed 2. Twin/Single Bunk Bed 3. Twin/Single Bunk Bed and Single Bed 4. Muskoka Room Futon
The cottage also has a Muskoka room to sit and relax during the day.
The Front of the cottage has the fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night.
The upper deck in the back oversees the lake and has a sitting area and the BBQ.
The Main deck downstairs has a sitting area and an area to eat and a hot tub.
I hope people will enjoy the cottage as much as our friends, and family do.
Note that we will also have a cleaning service in to clean prior to your arrival for 4 hours.

My family had a great time at the cottage. We all enjoyed the lake, trampolines, stand up paddle boarding and swimming. Cottage had everything we needed. Would recommend for a fun family getaway.
This property was amazing for a group of 7. We had such a fun time on the water with all the amenities. There is ample space and room to sleep, AC units around and tons of things to do even when it rains.
I loved how close it was to the store and garbage site.
Owner was very easy to communicate with and was responsive.
Thanks for the great stay.
Kids loved being out on the water toys - entertained them for hours! Cottage was exactly what we hoped. There was an unfortunate issue with the water pump but the host was responsive and did everything he could to resolve it.
It was good to get away and enjoy a change of scenery. Beautiful location and area was great to explore. Hikes and provincial parks give many options. Enjoyed the hot tub in the cooler weather and gray days. Appreciated option of kayaking and paddle boarding.
Amazing sunrise view from the screened-in porch. Nice sized dock and a great canoe for fishing. Caught a half dozen good sized small mouth. Water toys were fun, but kids were scared away after the neighbor complained about the noise at 7:30pm. Hard to keep 11 and 12 year-olds quiet out there...and they didn't want to get in trouble. Smoker wasn't working which was disappointing since we brought a 24 pound brisket up with us. Loved the firepit and the big kitchen table, plenty of room for suppers and game nights. Nice quiet lake...had an awesome time!
The cottage is beautiful, on a peaceful, clean lake. The cottage is fully equipped with amazing amenities, including the water trampoline which was the highlight of our trip. My teens thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly loved the screened in porch with the vintage patio lights ( a great touch). You will not be disappointed if you choose this cottage for a family vacation.
It was everything we hoped for. The weather was not the greatest but the place and entertainment was absolutely marvellous. I would definitely go again
We planned this trip with a small group & our dog to get away for my 30th birthday during these strange covid times.
The owner Hano was extremely accommodating and provided everything and more you could ask for when looking for a cottage up north. (board games, good wifi, netflix & prime video, canoes, kayaks an amazing hottub, keurig coffee machine, fully stocked kitchenware & the list goes on) We baked & cooked amazing meals, played board games, canoed, kayaked, hungout in the hottub, watched scary movies and just enjoyed the beautiful fall view! We will definitely be returning come spring/summer with family and friends!
We experienced a few hiccoughs early on in our stay - missing window pane in one bedroom, a broken light fixture which fell off on day two, little to no toilet paper/paper towel which was to be there upon arrival, virtually empty propane tank, etc. Got in touch with the owner and received a quick and helpful response. We received apologies, and an explanation that the cleaning company he uses forgot about our late season stay and didn’t get to the cottage to clean and restock it. We were offered compensation and he checked in twice more to ensure that things were going smoothly from there. Definitely happy with how things were dealt with, as well as could be expected under the circumstances.
There was one window in the main living room covered in a black plastic bag upon arrival (covering a missing panel), and two other window panes cracked/damaged in the cottage. We also had to use a garbage bag and tape to cover one window beside the lower bunk in one upstairs bedroom which looked out onto the Muskoka room as it had a screen but was lacking a glass pane (and the weather was pretty chilly during our early October stay!) We also noticed a few of the wooden steps on the way down to the lower floor/hot tub and then beyond to the dock area were uneven/slanted and due to the amount of rain we received we had to be careful using them as they became quite slippery when wet. Fortunately, despite having young kids with us, we didn’t have any injuries, although we would have appreciated to know some of these things ahead of time.
For the most part, the cottage had plenty of beds to choose from and all were quite comfortable, a great big table with plenty of room for 9 of us, really nice dock and frontage with fire pit and green space for the kids and dogs to play. There were a selection of games (although a lot of pieces were missing!) and a ton of movies which were great for the kids on those rainy days (especially as we couldn’t get a clear picture on the tv). We enjoyed our 9 night stay, despite the weather being very cold and wet throughout, and although we had some difficulties we were happy with how the owner dealt with them. We’re still waiting for our deposit back, but apparently it can take up to a week, it has only been 3 days, and the cleaning crew who arrived thanked us for doing such a great job so, I think we’ll be alright!
Beautiful setting with leaves falling and the water lapping at the shoreline! Canoe and kayak to use with plenty of life jackets readily available. Great indoor area for 8 of us to play board games and spacious outdoor area for fire pit and outdoor games. Bedrooms and kitchen a little cramped but it’s a cottage! Highly recommend this property.
Our grandchildren and great grandchildren had a great time
Lovely area.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Would not probably go back unless it was cleaned better.
The cottage was neat & tidy when we arrived but the windows were very dirty and the bathroom shower was very stained and unappealing . Also the drain in the bathroom sink was slow to drain. Some wooden steps needed repair (very dangerous). We still had a good time-the hot tub and toys at the dock were excellent and the beds were very comfortable.
We had a ton of fun at this cottage. The dock is great - it's big, has deep water for diving off of it and the water trampolin was an absolute hit with the kids. We also enjoyed using the kajak and stand-up baddle board. The fire pit are in front of the house was great for making s'mores at night and for the kids to play around on.
The only inconvenience for us travelling from Europe was having to bring our own bed linens and towels.
Kids really enjoyed jumping off the dock and using the supplied canoe, water boards and kayak. Nice small calm lake was nice to canoe around. Cottage met out expectations and would recommend to anyone looking have a quiet location to spend with family and friends.
Paks treehouse was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed being on the quiet and peaceful lake

Overall, it was a wonderful week at the cottage.
I loved the house, the dock, all the water devices, the sleeping accommodations were all great. We had 5 children there - the oldest being 13 and the youngest was two. The cottage area had something for all of them. The shallow water was great for the two year old and the trampoline was great for the 13 year old. I would strongly recommend this cottage. The only thing that could have improved was having a bathroom for the bedrooms on the lower level. But I'd definitely go back again.

Why they chose this property
This is a Family Cottage. Lots of great activities for the kids and family. Not a lot of boating activity which makes this a very nice quiet lake.
