This amazing three en-suite bedroom house is situated overlooking the picturesque Brixham harbour.
It has been completely refurbished and finished to a very high standard in 2017. It is built over four floors and has three bedrooms which are all en-suite, open lounge/ dining area and a very up to date Kitchen with all the equipment needed to reflex the high standard.
It has that very rare commodity -it's own integral garage which is suitable for most small to medium cars. Other parking can normally be arranged in the local car park for £30 per week.
At the rear there is steep steps up to a patio which shares the same panoramic views - but this wouldn't be suitable for people with mobility issues or young children.
On the top floor there is a large twin en-suite with great views over to Torbay and Thatcher's Rock with digital TV. On the third floor is the master en-suite with King Size bed and the same great sea views and digital TV.
On the second floor is the wonderful lounge with sea views, dining area and off this is the very spacious and well equipped kitchen with a six burner, double oven range cooker and large fridge freezer. Off the kitchen is the door to the patio.
On the ground floor is the garage and a double bedroom en-suite with digital TV.
Over and above the three en-suite bathrooms there is a separate WC for any visitors

Brixham is situated between Paignton and Dartmouth and is one of the few un-spoilt fishing villages left in South Devon. You can use it as a base to explore or alternatively just leave your car parked and explore the region on foot or via the wonderful ferry service to Dartmouth or Torquay.
There are plenty of fantastic local walks as we are situated right on the famous South West Coast path or for the experience walkers, the walk from Kingswear to Brixham (11 miles) is a 'Must'! You will find more detailed walks on our web site and a list of '50 Things To Do' -

Perfect spacy house! Comfortable and peaceful. Amazing views over the harbour. Close to town and stones throw from beach.Lots to explore nearby. Would Definetly reccomend! The tea and coffee and yummy biscuits were welcome on arrival. Garage is a blessing! Woukd highly reccomend!
We had a great visit to Brixham and stAying at fisherman’s wharf was the Iceing on the cake.
The property was perfect I every way. Mathew the owner was also the perfect host. I would recomend Fisherman’s Wharf to every one.
Very nice house, big but cosy feeling with a gas fire in the lounge. It has beautiful views over the harbour and the owners were very helpful in getting us an extra parking for the week close by! The stairs are pretty steep up to the top but it’s not too bad for most people, the bath in the top room is great and nice and big!
Beautiful cosy house with a stunning view of Brixham harbour,. The location could not be better, 2 minutes from the high street. Large, well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook family meals. Matthew & Rosie were lovely and catered to our every need. Well priced. Highly recommend this property.
Overall a property that matched the description. Spread over four floors the property meant we could have time to ourselves or come together as we wished - and no queues for bathrooms! The kitchen is very well equipped and a garage is a bonus in Brixham. Great views over the harbour and although only 2 minutes walk to the restaurants and pubs etc. relatively quiet. Really enjoyed our stay!
An ordinary looking property from the outside but one of the most comfortable family homes we have stayed in. From the very handy garage to the extremely well equipped kitchen and the large bedrooms with lovely bathrooms attached. The only thing that surpassed all of this was the view over the harbour which was stunning at all times of the day and night.
This house is lovely, unique and comfortable. The views are amazing and the location is ideal. It's a short, easy walk to the high street, restaurants and bus terminal, one flight of steps down to the harbour (where there are restaurants and little shops) and an easy stroll to the beach.
The layout of the house worked well for our family. Each generation had their own floor and their own bathroom - a bonus when traveling with teenagers. The sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace to go with the mesmerizing view. The kitchen is very well equipped with a huge stove, lots of cooking utensils and pans, and nice extras like spices and foil that make it easy to cook meals at the house. We found an abundant supply of extra towels and linens in the bedroom drawers. There is plenty of storage in the bedrooms and dozens of hooks everywhere - which makes it easy to keep things organized. Other thoughtful touches, like the welcome tray of biscuits, tea, coffee and milk were very much appreciated after a long journey.
The hosts are what make this rental really special. Matthew and Rosie are wonderful. They are responsive and happy to help explain the heating and appliance operation, provide local information and generally help you enjoy your stay. They obviously care about their holiday home and their guests.
I recommend this holiday rental without hesitation and would definitely stay again when back in Brixham.
The house was beautiful and located in an ideal location. Views were stunning across the harbour. Enjoyed our time with family. Will definitely come again and recommend to others.
Thanks to Matthew for letting us stay in your amazing house

Fantastic relaxing home from home
Beautiful, luxurious, well maintained property, within 2 minute walk for everything you need for a relaxing break, the view is stunning. Ate out in Brixham on Christmas Day, really good fish restaurants dotted around harbour. The owners were an added bonus being next door, on hand when we needed advice, directions, extra towels etc. We would definitely rebook the cottage again.

Lovely holiday in Brixham
Lovely holiday with stunning views of Brixham harbour. Couldnt fault the property for us.spacious and beautifully furnished, it had everything we needed. Maybe not suitable for elderly or very young children because of the stairs, but this did not pose a problem for us. Very clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly. We will definitley be returning in the future!

Fantastic stay at Fishermans Wharf
Great location, fantastic views of the harbour and Tor Bay and an immaculate house are 3 reasons why you should stay at Fishermans Wharf. Ideally located to explore the area, Fishermans Wharf is a spacious 3 bed house arranged over 4 floors, which has just undergone a complete refurb. As such everything is brand new and the owners have done a great job in making this a home away from home. From the comfy bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) to the wonderful kitchen containing a 6 burner rangemaster, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is plenty of crockery and glassware and a lot of utensils including a cafetière. The lounge has far reaching views over the harbour and Tor Bay and is a great place to unwind after a day's exploring. The ceilings are low in places (it was originally built in the 18th Century so to be expected) so watch your head! The property comes with use of the garage on the ground floor, but for larger vehicles there is an additional space in the harbour a few minutes walk away. For those ale lovers I recommend hunting out the Queens Arms - a real treat and Camra winner. All in all a fantastic stay and we will be coming back next year. Enjoy!

About the host
Hosted by Matthew Stuart
We own the Guest House next door to the property and have other holiday rentals in Brixham which sleeps from 2 - 6 people. We have owned this delightful Guest House - Sampford House - for over 6 years and are always on hand to offer any advice to maximise your enjoyment.
Why they chose this property
Fisherman's Wharf was built in 1760 and has had many different identities over the years - at the beginning of the last century it was the distribution dairy for Brixham. We fell in love with it and when the previous owners decided to move we leapt at the chance to own it.
We spent over six months updating every room to meet the demanding requirements of our modern guests and each bedroom now has a lovely modern en-suite. There is now a great kitchen with a six burner range cooker and all the modern facilities you would expect - washer/dryers, dishwasher, large 70cm wide fridge freezer and even a separate wine chiller. The integral garage is a very valuable - and rare -asset
What makes this property unique
Overlooking the harbour, the trawlers and the open sea, the views are stunning and make the best TV!
There is a steep range of steps up to the patio which has sea views, BBQ and long views over the town
