Desolation Wilderness trailheads are accessible from Emerald Bay, a 15 minutes south. The Rubicon trailhead is 5 minutes north. The bike trail to the beach at Meeks Bay has been completed in 2019. You can ride continuous bike trail all the way to Tahoe City in the north and Meeks Bay in the south. A note about privacy- just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. We DO NOT have webcams or cameras of any kind anywhere on the property.
