Are you looking for a quiet seaside retreat? Perfect for a writer or artist hoping to have a spot in this beautiful and inspiring community. We would love to welcome you to our newly furnished one room studio. Compact but everything you need! The sofa bed, is queen sized and converts into a lounge sofa during the day to make the best use of the space (this is your sleeping space). Unit offers a full kitchen for preparing your meals, a full height wardrobe closet for storage, use of shared outdoor grill. A short walk away to enjoy a day at the beach or a stroll downtown for shopping and dinner. Come back to the comfort of your own private space to relax. Traveling with friends? Separate 1 bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor (listed as a separate rental). NOTE: CALENDAR DATES ARE FOR THIS STUDIO UNIT ONLY, PLEASE INQUIRE FROM HOST FOR AVAILABILITY OF SEPARATE 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT.

Quiet location within approx 1/2 mile away from: Old Garden Beach, T-Wharf, Bearskin Neck, restaurants, shopping, galleries and the Shalin Liu Performance Center . Rockport Golf Club, a nine-hole course open to the public, is also close by.

The Rockport MBTA Commuter Rail station is less than a mile away, with direct service to Boston's North Station and points along the North Shore. There is CATA bus service around Cape Ann: Rockport, Gloucester, Annisquam. Local Taxi service is also available.

We are friendly and respectful owners and hope for the same from our guests. We are part of an association and have neighbors who share the common grounds. There are also two other occupied units in the building.

Please leave the property in the same shape as when you arrived. We ask that dishes be washed and put away.

It worked for us , the bed slept ok but was a fold out and really low . It was a little hard to stand up for us in the morning. The bathroom could stand new caulking .

Beautiful and great for walking everywhere

The setting and the studio were so pretty and quiet and I loved that there was such a variety of areas where I could walk right from the rental. Rockport is a beautiful area.

Sweet well-situated Rockport studio apartment

Windows on 3 sides welcome ocean breezes and spacious tree shaded views. Completely equipped and tastefully decorated. Down the lane a few steps is glorious open ocean. Down the hill is the town center with so much to enjoy. Favorite events were whale watching from Gloucester and several concerts at Shalin Liu, an extraordinary performance space. Favorite foods included lobster ravioli at LoGrasso's, scones and Dark Sin coffee at Brother's Brew, ice cream up at the train depot and, of course, lobster from Roy Moore's. Swimming pool was a plus. But most of all the apartment itself gave me the peace, comfort and beauty to relax and restore. Very special.
