This was our second stay at this home. It was just as charming the second time around. The home is spacious and inviting, located overlooking a golf course in the perfect neighborhood. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great rental experience in the area.

A nice home for a family gathering or getaway

We stayed for 3 nights for our daughter's wedding. The venue was very close and we had the family together for a wonderful weekend. There's a master bedroom on the main floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. If you like to read in bed, I would bring your own lamp(s), because there aren't many lamps in the home. There's probably a reason for this but just be aware. It's beautifully nestled in by the golf course. We stayed in January so it was too chilly to use the deck and grill, but in the spring and summer it would be perfect. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this home to anyone.

Out of town wedding

Needed a large house for guests traveling to B'ham for a wedding. This place met and exceeded our expectations. Large master suite on the main floor was great for a mobility challenged senior. The bedrooms on the second floor and basement worked great for the rest of us. Big enough for us to use as a "base camp" for wedding activities and exploring Birmingham. relatively convenient to the locations we had to be at for the wedding. We never felt crowded, even with 14 of us in the house. Kitchen had all of the necessary items (pots, pans, dishes etc). Christmas tree was a nice touch. Owner communication was great, and even allowed an early check in.

Thanksgiving

Property was sufficiently large enough to accommodate our group. We requested an early arrival and were told we could check in at 12 instead of 4. When we arrived the property was not ready. The owner reacted immediately and got the cleaning team there but it was near 3 before we could occupy the property. Our family of 13 had a fun thanksgiving and we would stay here again.

Great Location for Oxmoor and Ross Bridge Golf

Stayed with 5 friends on a visit to golf at Oxmoor Valley and Ross Bridge courses. Nice and spacious house with fantastic location. Rebecca (host) was great and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here if we come again. Thanks!

Wonderful spot for guys’ group

We stayed here recently for a weekend in Tuscaloosa for an Alabama football game. The property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our middle aged men’s getaway. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and well stocked. Will definitely be staying here again, and will add golf next time.

Beautiful home with lots of space

This was our second time staying with Rebecca and once again we were overly impressed and amazed at how much room we had to move around within the home. Multiple bathrooms was a definite bonus when dealing with 12 people. We will definitely be staying again.

Great Time

House is very convenient to everything we needed to attend for the weekend. Owners were very flexible and accommodating for early arrival, late departure, rehearsal dinner. The basement was recovering from some water damage left by a big storm the week prior but didn’t cause any problems. Overall great experience and really appreciate the owners helping us through the weekend, but the house does need some attention. Would recommend staying here!

We had a golf weekend with a group of guys and absolutely loved it. House is perfect for playing at Oxmoor Valley that is right down the street. Lots of room to spread out, beds to stay in, and house was super clean.

Great home in a great location

From a location perspective, you can’t beat this home. Located walking distance to the Oxmoor Valley clubhouse to the RTJ trail, we were able to get to / from our tee times with ease. The home is also located on #10 of the Ridge course. We had a slight mix up in homes since the owners own two right next to each other but it was quickly sorted and we had no other issues throughout our stay at the home. Would recommend for other golfers seeking a no hassle residence for a golfing weekend.

Great place for gatherings of family or friends

A real find for anyone hoping to host a getaway for family or friends. The property was perfect for all of our group to gather for dinners. Each bedroom was comfortable and private. The house was very well-stocked and even had pantry items for use. Rebecca was very easy to work with and responsive.

Fabulous Find

We were in Birmingham for a family wedding. I really wanted to spend the weekend in a home with our children and grandchildren - and this home was perfect! We had 7 adults and 6 children (ages 5 months to 11 years). We had plenty of to spread out and the kitchen area is large enough for all to gather for meals. Some of the guys played golf and the rest of us went to the zoo. The location of this home was very convenient for the weekend activities. I highly recommend this home!

Great house!

Group of 14 old college friends in town for SEC championship. House was very large and allowed for privacy for each couple. It was convenient to restaurants and right between two fabulous golf courses. Owner was responsive. Be sure and try Bright Star restaurant in Bessemer for dinner.
