Home Sweet Home VRSA - Single-storey house in the center of Vila Real de Santo António

This space has been designed with attention to the smallest details, so that even away from home you feel at home.

It is an old, fully refurbished and cozy one-story house that offers you maximum comfort. It is fully equipped and for your safety has no gas, everything works with electricity and solar energy.

The house was ideally designed for 2 people, or for a couple with children, sleeps up to 4 people.


To sleep has a double bed and a single double bed.

For storage contains 2 fitted wardrobes in the wall, one in the bedroom and another in the hall.

There is an internal courtyard by the kitchen, as well as a 50mt2 roof terrace with outdoor furniture, 2 parasols and a charcoal grill.

Vila Real de Santo António is a picturesque city, characterized by its Pombaline architecture, situated by the Guadiana River and endowed with bicycle paths. The house is located in the historical center of the city, where you can walk to in 1-5 minutes, restaurants, bars, local shops, supermarkets, market, bank, library, municipal swimming pool, sports hall, tennis court, marina, private hospital health center, pharmacy and other public services.

Wonderful place to stay in VRSA
We had a very comfortable stay! The property was very clean and well appointed. We only stayed for 3 days but would have liked to stay for longer. Excellent comms with the owners who welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a walk thru. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun in South Portugal.
Great downtown location close to the square. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy access to the train and ferry to Spain. The rooftop area with the barbecue were awesome. Would stay there again. The only problem we had were driving in and finding the property. A small inconvenience for sure. Host were great a gave us great recommendations.

Loved our stay!!! Susana's house mirrors the pictures shown in "home away" and above all Susana's personality. She is extremely attentive to all that assures a pleasant and fulfilling holiday. Our home was very clean, well equipped with much attention to small and helpful details, very comfortable bed, quiet surroundings...The roof terrace is fantastic, the bicycles a tremendous added value which especially made our trips through the pine wood forest to the beautiful Vila Real beach easy to reach. Various grocery stores, bakery shop, daily Vila Real market with fresh produce all within walking distance. The charming Vila Real center, with its' many shops and restaurants 2 minutes away. Thanks so much Susana...we will be back:)

Excellent location
The home is very nice and updated. It has all the modern conveniences you can think of. It is great for a couple and a child. Cristina was present upon our arrival to welcome us and show us the property. We also really enjoyed the patio upstairs. The house location is great which makes it easy to get to the city center and the beach. They also allow you to use their bikes which is an extra bonus!

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient
We stayed in Cristina and João’s home for three days and we really could have stayed longer! It is so convenient to walk along the river or to shop for groceries ... and the bikes were wonderful for riding to the beach!! The home was immaculate and well equipped... we even received a welcome bottle of wine and treats! The ground level space is compact but it is well planned and the rooftop patio is a real bonus!

A casa é pequena, mas está muito bem aproveitada, sendo ideal para um casal com um ou mesmo dois filhos pequenos. Oferece um ambiente muito confortável, e está decorada com todo o cuidado e muito bom gosto. Tem um grande e agradável terraço que permite aproveitar ao máximo o sol e o excelente clima algarvio. O João e a Cristina recebem com enorme simpatia, amabilidade e disponibilidade. Recomendo vivamente !

A wonderful surprise
I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a place so obviously loved by its owners and with so much thought put into making us comfortable and happy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. On a practical note we had everything we needed: well-equipped kitchen, excellent lighting, plenty of sockets, fast wifi, plenty of storage space, comfortable bed...... the list goes on!

Espetacular
Casa muito confortável, com tudo o necessário para uns dias bem passados! Muito bem localizada, a poucos metros do centro histórico, onde podemos encontrar restaurantes, lojas animação, mas ainda assim numa zona tranquila. O terraço é optimo para bons momentos ao ar livre, e as bicicletas são uma mais valia para aproveitar a vida nesta cidade. Recomendo!

Super Ferienhaus: Alles war super sauber und in sehr guten Zustand. Küche ist auch mit allem gut ausgestattet. Reichlich Stauraum in 2 großen Kleiderschränken, Betten/ Matrazen waren gut! Badezimmer auch schön: ordentlicher Wasserdruck. Gute (neue) Klimaanlagen in 2 Schlfzimmern + Wohnzimmer. Sehr schöne Dachterasse!

House exactly how described. Great location to go around vrsa. Everything walking distance. Bars, restaurants, bakery, grocery, supermarket, hairdresser .... We really enjoy how the kitchen had everything we needed to cook home. The rooms are small but size enough. Susana, has very nice in welcome us and explain us everything. She was also always available by whatapp to answer our questions. The house was very well clean, something that I really appreciate. There is free parking close to the house also. Only thing I would say is please bring some mosquito repellent, in vrsa this maybe an issue. We were a family of 3 with a 7 months old baby.

Un très charmant sweet home en plein centre de vila real de san antonio
Nous avons passé un super moment chez iris et Suzanne qui nous ont accueilli avec une infinie gentillesse et plein de petites attentions à notre arrivée avec du vin des petits gâteaux des rillettes de poisson pour l'aperitif. L'appartement est très bien équipé il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer d'excellentes vacances. Tout est prévu lessive pour le linge et la vaisselle par exemple. L'appartement en lui même est genial avec une grande terrasse très bien ensoleillée toute la journes. Nous recommandons vivement cette location . Si nous revenons dans la région c'est chez iris et Suzanna c'est sur.

A LOVELY HOME FROM HOME
We had an extremely enjoyable stay at this lovely, and very well located house, where we had every home comfort we could need. The house was welcoming and beautifully clean, and the bikes were super. The Perfect Home Sweet Home
From the warm welcome on our arrival to a smooth departure everything was perfect. Home Sweet Home is tastefully and practically decorated and spotlessly clean. We found it very comfortable with care and attention taken to ensure that we had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The location is excellent with shops and bars just a few minutes walk away. The beach is a couple of km walk through the nature reserve or you could cycle - something else your hosts have thought of. A casinha proporciona uma estadia muito agradável, correspondendo na íntegra às fotos que nos apoiaram na selecção. Tem uma localização muito central, perto de tudo sem deixar de proporcionar uma estadia tranquila. Está muito bem equipada, com gosto e pormenor. Salientamos o detalhe das bicicletas que fazem a diferença nas deslocações e ainda, a açoteia que proporciona um espaço ao ar livre para refeições e momentos de descontracção. Super acolhedor!!
Fomos recebidos como nunca. A Susana personifica bem a hospitalidade portuguesa. Atenciosa e disponível fez com que nos sentíssemos em casa desde o primeiro dia. A atenção ao detalhe As fotos falam pela casa e fazem-lhe justiça. O terraço é fabuloso e a casa está muito bem equipada. Temos 3 filhos e o espaço é o ideal. Está muito bem localizada, próximo de supermercados e da zona mais turística de VRSA mas suficientemente longe para ser tranquila. A repetir por certo.
