Private enclosed gazebo,60 ft dock in the lagoon and a dock out front.
Private deck off the master bedroom. Out door patios,
BBQ and an u shape dock used for float planes and boats.
Master has a king bed, two bedrooms have bunks (full on the bottom and twin on top), two bedrooms have queen beds.
Bathroom downstairs has a shower and upstairs bathroom has a bathtub with jets.

Lake Vermillion

Very lovely relaxing home and property. I don’t think you could get a better view of Lake Vermilion anywhere. I wish we had rented a boat……maybe next time!

Lagoon Life ...

Amazing stay at Birch Point! The property offered something for everyone .... adults loved the hot tub and outdoor patio areas for morning coffee and late day adult beverages .... our 3-year old granddaughter loved exploring the boardwalk areas with her trike. Interior of house was awesome for our group ... spacious and welcoming. Very well furnished kitchen for tableware and cookware. Already talking about a return trip for our family!! Big thanks to the owner Holly!! She was very friendly and responsive.

Fantastic family getaway!

Fantastic property. Absolutely everything you need for a great family vacation in beautiful surroundings. The home itself was very spacious and was stocked with all bath/kitchen/laundry requirements. It sits on a peninsula with a ton of private shoreline. Wifi coverage and speed was great. The most important amenity for some was the hot tub and it did not disappoint. It was huge, clean and very private. We brought our boat with us so dock/lake access was very important. The docks associated with the property were great. Easy access to fishing spots and quieter water for relaxing and tubing. Only advice there is I would utilize a public ramp to get your boat in/out (there is one right across the main Birch Point road) and not the 'ramp' in the lagoon. Holly, the owner, was quick with responses and advice. We will be back!

A perfect location for a group of 8

The interior of the house was even nicer than it was in the photos. Stocked to the hilt with everything you could possibly need. One thing to be aware of, the wi-fi was very spotty and non-functional for a fair amount of the time. I would never dock a vacation property for bad wi-fi, because honestly put down the device and go to the lake. But if you NEED service, have a backup plan. Cell service was great, so you could easily use that as a hot-spot if needed. We loved the ample seating on the patio area; there was a nice breeze off the lake every evening and we sat out there a lot. The hot tub was great. The dock was perfect for our pontoon rental from the Marina down the road. All of the other 7 guests were amazed at how beautiful it was. I was the star of the week for finding this gem. Thanks!

Wonderful fishing lake!!

Ok. Let me be very clear. The inside of the house is 5 star. The owner is a wonderful person. I just in good conscience cannot give it a 5 star because there is an above ground swimming pool that is unattended to with green water and mosquitos in it, and grass grown up all around the area of the pool. When we arrived are jaws dropped on the site of the pool. We thought we had been had. But, once you get past the swimming pool the house is wonderful. She has everything you will need in the kitchen. All appliances are 5 star. If she would fix or remove the pool I would have no issue giving it a 5 star. Fishing is unbelievable at Lake Vermillion. Caught a 44" & 43 1/2" Muskie. Caught a 4 pound small mouth bass right off her dock.

Great location!

Thoroughly impressed with owner, property condition and location. Sheltered dock for boat, easy access to prime fishing spots and outdoor seating areas with a view, this property is one of a kind! Hot tub was an added bonus.

Heaven on earth

We’ve been on lake Vermilion for 22 years. Sold our cabin two years ago because it was too small and we are looking for a bigger cabin. After staying here, I think I might just rent forever. This is as perfect a N. Minnesota home you will find.

Vacation Heaven

We’ve been on Lake Vermillion for 22 years. We sold our cabin because it was too small and are renting till we find a new one. After staying here, I’m going to quit looking and just rent here. This is perfect and I mean perfect.

Great Fishing Base Camp

Worked perfectly for 3 adult men (not MN residents) to use as a home base for our fishing trip. Spacious, clean, excellent hostess, and LOCATION. Sits on a point with water/docks on both sides. (Of which one is a protected bay). Marina right down the street had excellent boat rentals. Town of Tower and local gas station offer most of what anyone would need, including groceries and bait. Some of the best fishing holes are right off your shoreline! A++ from this group of seasoned travelers who enjoy a step up from “roughing it”.

Beautiful place and a great time was had by all

The owner, Holly, was fantastic. Super nice and accommodating. Very helpful, responsive and easy to work with. The home and property is beautiful. There was plenty of space for 3 kids and 5 adults. The private lagoon was perfect for docking our boat. The beach was a hit with the kids as was the hot tub for us adults. I cannot say enough about the beauty and convenience of this property. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you could ever need. Linens provided were plentiful and clean. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable and clean as well. If Holly will have us again, we will come back again and again.

Beautiful Lake Vermilion property with excellent beach, amazing view and well maintained home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at this property. Having visited the area for many years, this competes with the best the lake has to offer! Excellent for large families with or without children. The private lagoon for boats offers a hard to find amenity.

Fabulous location

We had a great time at this property. We had a group of 6 guys snowmobiling. It was comfortable and positioned well to get fuel and go in many directions for different trails.

Amazing family vacation spot!!

My family and I stayed for a week over the 4th of July holiday, and I can't say enough good things about this home and location. We had 4 adults and 5 kids with plenty of room to spare. The home is beautiful and was fully stocked with everything we needed for a home away from home. The layout is also perfect (i.e. common areas set apart from sleeping areas). The landscaping and deck areas are AMAZING! It was so beautiful and we enjoyed playing outside and boating during the day and sitting on the deck, going in the hot tub and sitting by the fire at night. Lake Vermilion is one of the most peaceful, beautiful lakes that I've every been to. It's hard not to relax up there! A couple days were kind of rainy, but there were plenty of things to do within a short drives distance away. (i.e. visit Ely, tour the Soudan mine, visit museums, etc). Plenty to keep the kids (and adults!) entertained! To top it all off, Holly was wonderful to work with. Very responsive and accommodating. We are already planning on going back next year!

Because we have privacy! A unique piece of property!
We have decided to share this beautiful rustic home nestled on a secluded point. The only neighbors are the fisherman on the lake and our cabin during the summer and the snowmobilers going by in the winter.

What makes this property unique

The view from every room in the home is breath taking, summer, fall, winter and spring! Just the other day I had 3 deer in the yard and last month was able to video the deer swimming from shore to the island. Fishing is great weather you have a boat or fish from the docks.
