Casa San Moscato is a renovated farmhouse with accommodation for 9 people in 3 airy bedrooms. Family holiday retreat, homely rather than smart. It is situated at Pariana, about 15 kms. east of Lucca. There is a private pool available to occupants. The property is peaceful and secluded in hilly country with views of surrounding wooded hills. Around the house are several hectares of terraced olive groves with swimming pool. A wooded hill screens the house from the village.

This part of Tuscany is still relatively undiscovered and in the village the rustic life goes on as it always has, with forestry and olive husbandry. The area is much more hilly than the more southerly parts of Tuscany - it is not so stiflingly hot as the plain and for walkers there is direct access to pleasant hills with the Appennines within easy reach. 30 mins Lucca, 1 hr Florence, Pisa, coast. Excellent local cuisine. All shopping 20 mins. There is a bus service but infrequent.

Adjacent to Casa San Moscato is a cottage, Moscatino, sleeping up to 3. Both properties together constitute the San Moscato estate. They are to let separately or together but are each quite self-sufficient.

Ruhige Lage und guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten in der ganzen Umgebung

Großes und geräumiges Haus mit sehr gepflegtem Außengelände. Sehr gutes Informationsmaterial vom Vermieter mit wertvollen Tipps für Aktivitäten etc. Wir wurden durch die Verwalterin freundlich empfangen und gut betreut.
