Perfect family cottage

We had 6 adults and 2 small children plus 2 dogs and it was so cozy and comfy. It looks like everything has been recently renovated, so it’s all very clean with great amenities. The neighborhood is lovely with little hiking trails starting directly across the street from the front door. Mt baker ski lodges are an easy and stunning 30 minute drive up the road and there are 4 great little restaurants/cafes 10-20 minutes away. I will absolutely be coming back.

Perfect for a Mt. Baker weekend

This cabin was in a quiet neighborhood about 5 minutes away from chair 9. A perfect no frills place to stay when skiing Mt. Baker. Easy check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay in this neighborhood again.

Great cabin for a big family!

The cabin was cozy with everything you need for a great cabin getaway. Board games for the kids, lots of beds, lots of kitchen supplies and space. Added perk Cabin included Netflix which made for great family movie night! Cabin is just a short walk to the river which the kids loved and only about 10 min away from silver lake which is an amazing place to go. The only downfall to cabin is there is no central air and there is only 1 standup and 1 small desktop fan supplied. Cabin temp was 81 degrees during our coolest part of the stay, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Wouldn’t stop us from renting again would just bring a couple of fans…thanks for the great rental our family LOVED IT, and we had the best time !

Stay

The house provided everything we expected and needed. The proximity to the creek trail was ideal and the sunset walks were just right. Unfortunately there was serious construction occurring on the property 50 yds away, which was extremely noisy. The last two days of our stay an excavator was literally ripping trees out 10-20 yards from the deck, which forced us to stay inside when we returned from outings. If we were aware of the construction we would have stayed elsewhere. We appreciate the house but the circumstances were unfortunate.

House smells bad

We love the location, and the house was perfectly sized. I wanted to like this place. The deck was dirty with green mold on the see through panels of the railing. The house smells very bad. Even though the house was not visibly dirty inside, the smell makes it feel un-clean. It would probably help a ton to replace the draperies with something that does not retain smell, and remove the carpet.

Great rustic getaway

This is a cute little cabin that worked for our family of 3 plus 2 dogs. It's definitely rustic but that was what we wanted as we didn't spend a ton of time there - we were out mostly hitting the trails and exploring the area. The neighborhood itself is great and lots of surrounding families there with their dogs too. Nice big dining room table with plenty of chairs and TONS of board games. The couch and loveseat have seen better days but for a couple hours at the end of each day they are just fine! The shower had great water pressure and there were plenty of towels. Would have loved a hairdryer (or knowing there wasn't one there) but not a big deal. We came prepared with our food and spices but still stopped in at the Graham grocery store down the street for a few things. Great little store.

Great spot for family and friends.

Comfortable house, perfect for families or group of close friends. This house is casual/comfortable, not fancy. Rental agency was super easy to work with.

Nice Cabin but Lacked Landline and WiFi as Advertised

Really nice and spacious pet-friendly cabin close to Glacier and Mount Baker wilderness. Unfortunately, there was no WiFi or landline available as advertised, and the area has no cell service. I was not advised of the downed utilities before arriving at the leasing office, where the associate told me that internet may be down due to the windstorm. And when we arrived to the cabin, we realized the internet is DSL so the phone line was necessarily down also. I understand that this happens and that utilities crews can be slow to repair especially in remote areas, but we did need access to a phone as one member of my party has a major health condition and another needed a phone connection for work. We had to drive into Glacier several times to find service or use the pay phone. The cleaning crew should be able to verify whether or not the utilities are working properly as part of their normal checklist. And additionally, for the price of the cabin, the cleaning crew should be tasked with unloading the clean dishwasher, not the renter. Otherwise, our stay was very enjoyable. It's a great cabin in a beautiful location.

Dated and inadequate amenities, nice setting

The setting is lovely and the space is big. My main disappointment and frustration is related to cleanliness and amenities. The whole place has a musty damp smell, especially the laundry closet and mud room area. There's no garbage disposal or lids on the garbage cans, so food waste is exposed and contributes to the aroma. There's also no sealed containers to store food in (Tupperware, etc) so leftovers are difficult to deal with. There's no pasta strainer (a common food for hikers and skiers). Little things like that made it tricky, especially with little kids and dirty diapers. I felt like I stepped into a good will store from the 1980s. A few updates and this place would be amazing.

Cozy Launch Pad for Outdoor Recreation

Cozy little spot 30min down the hill from Mt Baker ski area. Plenty of beds and kitchenware for up to 10 people. The cabin is just a short walk from trails along Canyon Creek. We will keep this one on the list for future trips.
