About this property

Tradesmen/contact workers 3 bedroom apartment sleeping 6

This contract workers property in the city centre with parking has three bedrooms with two beds in each room. The upper floors are where the two additional bedrooms are located. We have over 20 properties; contact us if you have a set budget or require larger or additional properties for a large group or properties with more bedrooms. You can better understand this property space by requesting our online video viewing link.

A team member will always be available to help with anything that comes to mind or additional unforeseen requests. We will do our best to deal with all matters quickly and professionally.

This property is located within a minute's walk of pubs with paddle boat hire, most shops bars, cafes and restaurants.  You can also comfortably walk to Norwich train station, Norwich market and all the large indoor shopping malls located in the town centre. You are only a forty-five-minutes drive from the magnificent coastline when heading to the beach. Without a doubt, Elm Hill is the most famous street in Norwich. It is also the most complete medieval street in the city. A major fire destroyed almost everything in 1507, but the properties were rebuilt, and now we can enjoy a beautiful cobbled street with merchant's houses, thatching, individual homes, speciality shops, and small cafes.

Elm Hill is a photographer's dream; whatever the season it retains its character and beauty. In summer, wander around browsing shops such as The Bear Shop, a quaint little place specializing in bears and collectables. In autumn, wonder at the rich colours of the falling leaves. In winter, it is so Christmassy and charming, and in Spring, a new life starts to form, making Elm Hill bright and vibrant. Explore craft shops, antiques, and galleries, and visit tea shops, coffee houses, and delis. The history behind this street is intriguing.

Take your own tour of the area using an Elm Hill Norwich Trail map (buy them from the Norwich TIC or selected shops in the Cathedral Quarter). One of the most well-known buildings is The Britons Arms, the only survivor of the 1507 fire. The building is early Tudor, formally an inn and very much in demand as a film location. A trip to Elm Hill is only complete with a visit to this cobbled street.

We aim to make your check-in process as efficient as possible. You can check in online using a link we'll provide. Simply register the names of all guests and provide an up-to-date mobile number. We'll then reach out to you with the easiest method to access the keys.

Apartment is spreadover the first and second floor of this building..

Many parts of the city have restricted access to cars and pedestrianised areas so that visitors can make the most of the city shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and parks. Booking an apartment with parking is a must (if you have a car) unless you are willing to pay for a multi-storey car park during your stay in Norwich. Unless you are heading to the beach, about a 35-minutes drive away.  Walking or e-scooter or pedal bike hire is the best way to see Norwich canal, walkways, hidden alleyways and historical gems, as many streets are pedestrian-only.  Lots of free maps are available around town at tourist spots. The city also has a one-way system that diverts traffic around the city centre and away from the pedestrianised street.

Due to the location and type of building, this property is for contract workers only

New years break

Arrived 4 o'clock to be met by Michael. Very welcoming and friendly. He said we were missing 2 bath towels ,but he soon returned with them. Only when he had gone did we realize the other 2 towels were hand towels. Luckily we had brought 2 with us so not really a problem. Problem with the heating on the first night .We had 2 portable heaters which were okay for taking the chill off. fortunately it wasn't a really cold . The heating problem was sorted by Michael early next morning , thanks . Nice spacious dwelling with views over the city and river. It does sleep up to 8 ,but I do wonder how 8 adults would cope with just the one bathroom.Good location for sightseeing. Bear in mind this is over a pub and there are pubs nearby so can be a bit noisy, especially new years eve. Also the bin men and i think the brewery collecting barrels were about really early on the2nd Jan .But this has to be expected when you stay in a city . Overall we had a good stay , would probably stay again and recommend this property.

Apartment is beautiful and in a great location. Would definitely stay again!!!

Stayed at this apartment with 7 members of my family when visiting relatives in Norwich. The apartment is accessed through a lane and there are a lot of steep stairs into the property. It's above a lively pub but we enjoyed the music from below! The apartment has 3 bedrooms, one large with double bed on the first floor and the other two upstairs with two beds in each. The upstairs rooms have low ceilings but we didn't have a problem with this. The living room also has a sofa bed so this doubles up as the other room for two people. This room also has plenty of chairs and table space which was great when the family came over to visit. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and information pack left was very informative about ordering food for delivery which was great as we arrived late on the Friday night. Everywhere in the apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was cold when we first arrived but the heating kicked in quickly. Had trouble opening windows but this was not really a problem, just turned the heating down. The location is ideal right on the water and only five minutes walk from all shops, restaurants and nightlife. The pub downstairs is also fun and the food was excellent!! Overall, I would rate this property as nine out of ten and would definitely visit again. All members of my family loved the character of the apartment and Norwich itself and we are all different ages from 20 to 90!!! Thanks so much for a fabulous stay!!!
