Beautiful in the Spring

Luisa and Giovanni are like family now!

Luisa and Giovanni welcomed us on our first day in Sicily and we felt like family! They were warm and gracious hosts and the house met all of our needs. The location provided easy access to other towns and activities. We loved it here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Terrazza sul Mare! Giovanni was the perfect host, and we particularly loved that he left a bottle of his home produced olive oil for us to use. The house was extremely clean, beds and sofas were super comfy and the view from the terrace was amazing. Thank you so much for having us!

What an amazing view!

All in all we had an amazing vacation! The Appartement is wonderfull, everything what is needed was there! We always felt save and secure. The view from the Top of the Mountain down to the sea is great and invites to some relaxing days. In just a couple of minutes by car you are at the Beach. Giavoanni is a Perfect Host!

Comfortable home with beautiful view!

This home was very comfortable and clean. The view off of the patio was magnificent! There was no air conditioning, but they had plenty of fans and the breeze was cool at night. The owners spoke minimal English, but we were able to communicate our needs to them. It was a lovely property and I would recommend it to anyone staying near Alcamo.

For those who want a VIEW

Spacious beach house with a spectacular view of the water and town. Great for cooking and eating on a beautiful back deck. Made use of their washing machine and fabulous shower! Giovanni was a great host easy to communicate with and had ideas of where to eat, shop, and visit. Highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable and spacious house, great view

We had a lovely 4 night stay here. The hosts contacted us and gave very precise directions and a photo of the front of the gated property from the road so we knew what to look for! It is a lovely property that sits independently from the owners home surrounded by vines and overlooking the sea. The owners are on hand to answer any questions but were not intrusive. The outside area is where we spent the most time. There is a covered area with a large table and chairs as well. The terrace gets the sun in the morning and for part of the afternoon. So we spent our days there in the morning and then went out late afternoon/ evening when it’s a lot cooler to visit nearby places such as TRAPANI and Erice. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family visiting Sicily with a hire car.

Wonderful Seaview, Premium Host

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt wirklich sehr ruhig, mit einem schönen Blick auf die Bucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber und funktional. Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Schöner Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön, wie in der Anzeige.Der Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat sich sogar um unseren Müll gekümmert. Wir könnten auf dem Grundstück parken, dass eingezäunt war . Leider ist das Haus etwas außerhalb, so dass wir immer mit dem Auto zum Strand oder ins Dorf fahren mußten. Dafür eine schöne Aussicht. Ich würde das Haus weiter empfehlen.

Très agréable séjour !

Giovanni et Luisa sont très gentils, la maison récente est dans un état irréprochable, très propre, propose absolument tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Des cadeaux vous attendent à votre arrivée, dont des produits au frais, ce qui est très plaisant en cette chaleur. La vue panoramique sur la mer est magnifique. La situation géographique permet un accès mer rapide ainsi qu'aux autoroutes pour sillonner les environs. Nous vous remercions sincèrement pour votre accueil, merci à tous les 2 !

Zentrale Lage und wunderbarer Ausblick

Giovanni und Luisa waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns auch kurzfristig eine Veränderung unserer Ankunftszeit ermöglicht haben. Auf der großen Terrasse lässt es sich mit tollem Ausblick auf das weite Meer und inmitten von Giovannis Weinstöcken wunderbar entspannen. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge sowohl Richtung Palermo als auch Richtung Westküste ideal, die Schnellstraßen sind ohne vorheriges Abmühen im sizilianischen Stadtverkehr bequem erreichbar. Zum Einkaufen ist ein Auto notwendig. Wir hätten uns einzig eine etwas umfassendere Ausstattung in der Küche gewünscht, alles in allem haben wir uns jedoch wohlgefühlt.

The perfect getaway

It's evident that Luisa and Giovani take pride in their home. They are the most gracious hosts of all the VRBOs I've stayed in. They greeted us and gave us a tour of their home. Though their English is limited it's far superior to our grasp of Italian! They used Google Translater as we talked. Luisa answered all our subsequent questions during our stay using WhatsApp. So convenient we highly recommend using WA. They dropped off a bowl of delicious grapes and figs from their garden on the outside table. The backyard is a perfect evening place to relax while taking in the gorgeous views. All the amenities were included from hair dryer, washing machine, laundry drying racks, coffee, etc. Note, their is only 1 AC unit located in 1 upstairs bedroom but fans are provided to help circulate the air. There are screens and blackout shutters on all the windows. They kept the heat out when closed during hottest part of the day. The parking area is narrow but once we navigated backing out each morning it was no problem and so convenient. My best friend and I couldn't have been more pleased with staying in this hom and the graciousness of Luisa and Giovani. Located closely to Castellamare del Golfo (CDG) and ~30 minutes from Tonnara Scopello. We took day trips to Palermo, Erica, Trapani and of course, CDG. It was perfect in every way. Thank you Luisa and Giovani.

Schöner Blick, aber Müllprobleme

War schwierig zu finden, Kommunikation mit den Besitzern schlecht, da sie kein Englisch und wir wenig italienisch konnten. Vor allem beim Müll war es echt nicht gut. Aber ganz Sizilien hat offensichtlich Müllprobleme. Sonst war das Haus schön, sauber, 2 tolle Bäder schöner Blick aufs Meer.

Aanrader!

Het was een schoon en royaal vakantiehuis. Modern, comfortabel en met uitzicht op zee en een wijngaard. De gastheer is erg vriendelijk, attent en correct. Het strand is vlakbij evenals de prettige havenstad Trapani. Adembenemende ontdekking: Macari Trapani en San Vito Lo Capo. Wij willen graag weer terug!
