About this property

Cottage 3 is all on the ground floor and has a double bedroom with additional bunk beds situated in an alcove of the bedroom; it also has a double sofa bed in the lounge area. It has recently been refurbished with all new lounge furniture and kitchen equipment as well as a complete new bathroom.The mews cottages are traditional Lakeland stone cosy cottages and have recently been refurbished. They each have a lounge, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and a seated dining area. Cottages 1, 2 & 3 are now fully Central Heated, the Studio Cottages have free standing Electric wood Burner effect fires and Storage Heaters (all electricity is fully inclusive

The cottage was lovely!

Will definitely be staying here again. Cottage was cosy, warm with the most amazingly comfy bed. Kids loved it. Nice little hotel with restaurant within a minute walk. Really enjoyed our stay. Parking not an issue, each cottage has own parking space. Little shop nearby. If you want a relaxing break this is ideal. Wifi not the best, intermittent use but overall not an issue. Would recommend.

Inaccurate description

Cottage 3 is well located, warm, and clean. The bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. But the kitchen facilities and the lounge furniture are poor - certainly not recently refurbished as described. It would be hard to cook a decent meal - e.g. no lids to casseroles, every knife blunt. Overall, a reasonable place if you are happy with microwaved meals and sandwiches.
