Lovely garden apartment on exclusive Malibu Road beach. There is a short stairway to the beach from the door of your apartment. At high tide, the waves lap right under your balcony. At low tide, the beach stretches for miles. There are 3 sea kayaks and multiple boogey boards stored underneath the bldg and two bicycles. Cycle the 2 miles down tranquil Malibu Road to trendy shops, restaurants, art classes, yoga classes, and Starbucks in the center of Malibu. Take surfing lessons at Surfrider Beach, hike the trails in the adjacent Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and body surf at Zuma Beach. Enjoy the long walks at sunset on the beach and enjoy the ocean views from your private deck.
King-size bed in bedroom, additional queen-size bed in ocean alcove. Living area has TV, DVD, high speed internet and decorative fireplace. Garage accommodates one car inside and one out. Full bath, kitchen and beach shower. Linens, towels, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. Limited to four persons.

Lovely beach apartment
We’ve stayed here several times and each time has been as good as the last. Very comfortable and clean. Good attention to detail and fresh flowers every time. Our first time after the fires, this part of Malibu is open for business. All our favourite local restaurants are open. Beach is clean and waters declared safe to swim in. Leave extra time for your journey if traveling at peak times as part of the PCH is only open to residents and businesses.

Cute place
The host was extremely accommodating. We never saw any neighbors in this quad plex. Cute single bedroom with daybed overlooking the water. There have been cosmetic upgrades to the unit. The building is dated. The host provided fresh flowers in vases which was a very nice touch. We would stay here again. The location was great and quiet. Saw dolphins and sea lions every day during our stay.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
We were scheduled to stay for a week over Christmas then the wildfires hit. We had great communication with Liza as the fires were being battled and ultimately contained. The location is amazing, on a very quiet street on the West end of Malibu. We stayed on the East end during covid and there is much more to do and you can walk places there. Really depends on what you want to do. There are plenty of water "toys" available but we didn't use any. Lots of extra towels and nice stocked kitchen. I would give this unit a 5 but it is old and shows wear almost everywhere you look, HOWEVER - it's very cozy and comfortable and clean and I would highly recommend and would book again. We loved the the chairs on the balcony and the daybed that looked out over the water. We saw dolphins, seals, loads of pelicans and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. A really nice getaway. Thanks Liza! Happy New Year.

Beautiful location on the ocean
The property was exactly as described. Clean, and right overlooking the beach. It was relaxing to wake up in the morning and have coffee while listening to the surf, and seeing the wildlife. We saw pods of dolphins and pelicans. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary items, and there is a grocery and drug store nearby. I would rent this apartment again.

Great apartment, with everything you need, steps to the beach. Restaurants and shops close by. Watch the sunrise, sunset and dolphins from your sunny balcony. Liza was very responsive to our queries. Would recommend.

Perfect place. With great attention to detail from the housekeeper Olga. Fresh flowers - red roses. Our favorite beach and favorite beach apartment. Has everything we need even a dishwasher. Neighbors are lovely. Great outdoor shower. Truly feel lucky to have rented this place and hope to again.

Perfect Malibu Getaway!
We recently stayed at Liza’s beach house in Malibu, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely stunning—right on the water, where you can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean day and night. The house itself was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. One of the highlights was the beachfront window bed. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the ocean each morning was a dream. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a serene and beautiful retreat in Malibu, this beach house is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return!

The Best
I've been visiting Malibu for theee years, places high in the mountains, above PCH and directly over the beach off of PCH. This is the best place I've stayed. It is in central Malibu one street over from PCH. The location is better than being on PCH because it's quieter, better views and is the only place I've ever stayed where you're able to walk on the beach at any time for any distance. This place has been completely remodeled with sandalwood floors, marble kitchen tops and bathroom as well as new bedding and furniture. The amenities are impressive. Everything you would need. Kitchen utensils pots pans more than you could use. Plenty of towels and a double sink in the bathroom which has a marble shower with a sitting marble area. I slept directly in front of the ocean rather than in the back room so I could hear the waves while sleeping. There is enough room for four people . Parking is easy and directly in front of the place. Unlike being on PCH it is completely safe and easy to back up and get on to the road. Everything you need is located within Central Malibu including the grocery store. The balcony furniture is new as well as the area where i slept. There is an ocean view from everywhere in the apartment. This place exceeded my expectations greatly even having paid more for not as as nice of a place other times. There is no noise in the complex and the neighbors are friendly. LA is about an hour away as it is from all of Malibu. The return is about 35 to 45 minutes.

We really enjoyed the place and the beach and would like to book next year. Instructions sent to get in worked perfectly. TV/DVR and Wifi was good. The view was wonderful. Weather was good. Was able to easily contact the host.

Amazing!! We arrived to fresh roses and card. As soon as we walked in, we went directly to the ocean view. We saw a whale, dolphins and seals playing through out our stay. The ocean waves created the best sleep I have had in months! Place was clean, had everything we needed, great location. The host was awesome. We are already to set up another stay later this year. Love this place!!!

Loved this property, which was home for 2 months with my little dog. The lovely owner, Liza, is very responsive and dealt with any issues or questions immediately (not that there were many). Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers made me feel at home and welcome. I've already booked another stay for next year!
