Windy but Wonderful

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at your beach house. Very windy week, but we had some great beach days. House is as stated, very cute. Fenwick is a great town, with some great restaurants. Overall we had a terrific time!

Third year staying here, love this place!

We love the location of this house, great views of Assawoman Bay. So fun to spend time on the dock, screened in porch and the crows nest that easily fit the 6 of us…great place for cocktails! WiFi in the house works well, several of our group had to work and the elevated desk in the sunroom with views of the water was greatly appreciated. We look forward to our next visit there!

Family Vacation

Such an amazing property! The house was the perfect size for our family. It was clean and located centrally to everything! We enjoyed short drives to Ocean City, Rehoboth, Fenwick and Bethany. Our favorite spot was screened in porch overlooking the canal. Will definitely rent again for future visits. Thank you for such a relaxing stay.

Bayside cottage

We had a great stay here!! Very quiet and the dock was very enjoyable for catching bait for fishing!!The pictures were super and we would love to come back!! Close to the nice pool and very relaxing spot!! We had a great vacation!!!

Relax by the beaches

Nice and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. Nice view along the canal and the porches and deck were what we most enjoyed during our visit! Plenty of room for the whole family.

Perfect location! The community is absolutely adorable. We had such a memorable vacation. Waking up and going to bed on the water… not much else you could ask for. The home was clean. The pool and playground were perfect for children and adults. The neighbors were the nicest, most welcoming people as well! We look forward to coming back! Next summer can’t come soon enough! Great place in a wonderful town, close to the beach, on the bay.

Know that you must bring your own towels, linens, whatever you need. Kitchen is fully equipped. The house is large, comfortable, quiet, with an excellent lay-out. We loved it.

Calmness on the Canal

Cozy Thanksgiving

My family had a very relaxing stay over Thanksgiving. The location was great, views spectacular, and the couches were incredibly comfortable! A keyless check-in to avoid key pick up from manager would be a great added feature. Thanks for sharing your cozy home with us!

Perfect Location! A++ rental

This rental home was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, and close to all the area beaches and activities. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and serving home cooked meals- and close to some wonderful restaurants. The view from the screened in porch and the deck on top was very peaceful and fun for bird and wildlife viewing. A++! Manager was wonderful to work with as well.

Great location and views

This is our second summer staying here and it is a wonderful location and house! We love the views out the back and from the upper deck. The outside areas are a great place to gather in the evening and enjoy your coffee in the morning. Close by is Assawoman state park with great views and hiking opportunities. We hope to stay here again next summer. PS. The air conditioner works great which was certainly needed the last half of our week.

Coastal Comfort

This place was amazing! From the minute we walked through the door, we were at home. We loved the space it provided us. If you plan to be outside in the evenings, bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are no joke. My girls attempted to fish, but there was nothing to catch. It was very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery, activities etc. The place was extremely clean. Plenty of parking for 2-3 vehicles. The neighborhood was quiet and the people were nice. It is a well maintained property and we hope to stay again!

Best location ever!

Could not of been happier with the location of the property, right on Assawoman Bay. We spent a lot of time sitting on the dock or if the sun was too bright you could sit in the screened porch and still have great views of the water. Quite a relaxing spot! We rented kayaks and were able to explore the bay right from the property. The layout inside was perfect for us, the online pictures are very accurate. We look forward to staying here again! Only one thing that we thought could be a bit improved is the organization of the kitchen cabinets. With many families using the items nothing gets put back right, I get it, it must be a pain for the cleaners. Maybe labels where things go might help put things back in the right places. Also we could of used more serving bowls and serving spoons….we did a lot of cooking so it a bit of an issue with us. But overall we can’t wait to spend more time at this great house!!

Vacation on the canal

The house was larger then I had anticipated..in a quiet location. Great views, games, movies, and wi-fi which my children all enjoyed. The condition of the stove top and oven in the kitchen was horrible. It took us over an hour to bake 8 biscuits. The wood on the deck out back had quite a few warped boards that made a definite tripping hazzard and less then 2 1/2 ft of water in the canal most of the time made boat navigation quite tricky. I would recommend the house to friends if some of the repairs are done. I thought that the cost to rental property was a little high after we got there and saw the condition of the above mentioned items. Also the mini golf in the neigborhood is pretty run down. We also only received 5 pool passes for a house that sleeps 9. Higgins Crab house, old pro pirate ship mini golf in ocean city, and the bath house location on Fenwick Island beach were all geat and close to the house. Harris Tweeter grocery store is definitly the place for shopping near the house too.

My Family's First Summer in Delaware

My Family and I stayed in this canal side house and had the best vacation yet. There are so many things that you can do and all within a 1/2 hour ride. The week we spent was not enough for everything this place has to offer. The local beaches are clean, the people are friendly and access to the community pool was great for non-beach days. There was also Bethany beach, outlets in Rehobeth and the boardwalk in Ocean City Maryland (all within 30 minutes). The food at the local restaurants was excellent and many of them are waterside!!! There is parasailing, jet ski's, pirate adventures, kayaking and much more. The house itself was very clean and well kept. The layout of the house is family friendly to enjoy nights on the deck or a game of tag on rainy days. The rooms are spacious and the owners have provided many amenities that we have not had in other rentals. The owners provided many board games, books, videos, internet connection and much more. I would recommend this house to anybody due to all the amenities offered and the generosity of the owners. Just bring your clothes, food, bedsheets, toiletries,laundery detergent and garbage bags. Everything else is there! Did I mention the miniature golf course, shuffle board, volleyball court and playground that are included in the community? Enjoy!

Cozy and Relaxing

What a beautiful property. I needed a quiet relaxing vacation, and this house was perfect for that. It was just me and my sweet little Lhasa Apso 'Polly Joe'. We both enjoyed our stay. She would lay in the screened in porch and look out at the water and any birds passing by while I relaxed and read. She was entranced by the scenery! So was I. Lynne, the property manager, is a dear. Picking up the key and dropping off was so easy and she was so friendly and personable. I agree with all the other positive reviews. The house has everything you will need. It is so cozy and comfortable. My only complaint is that I could only stay in the area for a week. I will book next time for at least two weeks! Thanks to the Meyers Family for sharing their incredible home with me. And a special thanks for allowing dogs since Polly Joe is my baby and goes everywhere with me. See you next year!

Home feeling

The house felt like home immediately. It was cozy and the location was perfect. My husband and I rented the property for a few months while we were waiting for our house to be build. I would recommend this property to anyone for any season

Family vacation.

We really enjoyed our week long stay at your beach place. We had lots of room and it was very comfortable. It was lacking nothing. The community pool and little splash park were great. We look forward to rent from you again next summer.

Our family purchased this property in 2007 as a family getaway. We love the peaceful location, great community and local activities. Now that the kids are older we still congregate for family vacations and they are starting to use the house on their own. It's a great place for all ages. We do our best to keep the place well maintained and always try to add something new each year so our return guests see something new.
