Warm, spacious musician's home with old Hollywood bungalow charm. Tree filled lot with 45 ft fenced pool (unheated but warm July -Sept), patio/barbecue area and lawn. Living space has open floor plan with high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, bay windows, woodburning fireplace and eat-in kitchen. Living room is entertainment focused with 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, surround sound, cable//DVD and a baby grand piano. Dining room seats 5-6 comfortably. Computer area has antique desk, printer, 5G, and high speed wireless internet. Master bedroom has queen bed, French doors to deck and yard, large closet with overhead suitcase storage, and 40" Smart TV. Master bath has two-person jacuzzi tub/shower with antique vanity and bidet. Second bedroom has double bed, additional single bed and 40" Smart TV. Queen sleeper sofa in living room and single rollaway bed in closet. There is a Ring doorbell/camera on the front porch.

Our second months-long stay in this lovely, warm home. The exceptionally attentive hosts even found a generator to keep power on during an extended outage. They made sure that we were comfortable. We look forward to another visit.

Great stay in Valley Village
We had a very relaxing time at Jeannine's and Steve's house. Communication with the owners was easy -- information for check-in and check-out thorough, good air-conditioning, streaming services on the tv and plenty of tea and spices in the kitchen. Lovely neighborhood, lots of trees and beautiful homes and yet close to stores restaurants and freeways. We were a little concerned about our privacy as owners live right next door, but they were very respectful about that, no problem there. When we inquired about an item we were missing, they offered to go out and get it immediately -- we haven't encountered gracious behavior like that before! The only thing that we didn't enjoy and is completely out of the owner's hands are the many planes and helicopters flying over the property. We got somewhat used to it though and it didn't really disturb our sleep as most of the air traffic seems to be limited to certain hours of the day. The most amazing thing about our stay, though, was the gigantic pool -- the whole property is very well taken care of and we really enjoyed the pool and the whole backyard a lot! Home Away From Home With Easy Access To Everything
This is our second stay with Steve and Jeannine, and it was just as perfect as the first time around. The house has all the comforts one wants during vacation. The pool is the real star - my kiddos wanted to swim every day, even after we visited the local beaches. It was easy to access the local highways and sightsee around town. Jeannine and Steve are extremely easy to communicate with and very friendly hosts.

Great bungalow in good location
Our family of four here for five nights and had a great time. The house was fully equipped and well stocked. We loved using the pool at the end of hot days and playing the piano. Great location close to attractions, grocery stores, etc., yet very private and quiet. The owners were great and very communicative. Definitely recommend!

The most charming house
We loved our stay here. I loved the house, as did my whole family. It had everything we needed and more. We had so much fun in the pool and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. We would stay here again. The location was great too.

Fantastic Property!
This property was amazing. Its charm and privacy were superb. Hosts obviously thought of everything, from extra tissues and towels all the way to laundry detergent and even a sippy cup ( we didnt need this, but appreciate it as parents who once travelled with littles). We were so sad to leave, and would definitely stay with these hosts again.

Great location for Universal Studios!
We came to stay here when bringing the family to Universal Studios. Overall it was a great space for our family, especially the pool and bedrooms. They had everything we needed there for the most part, including a coffee maker and full kitchen. The pool was easily my children's favorite part! Their is only a few things people may want to know before staying. If you have small children, there are some breakable items displayed. Our younger kids were fine with this, we just needed to point it out and make sure they are mindful of those spaces. The front door handle needed the key to unlock every time. That was a bit stressful to make sure you had it with you before you head out to the car, but totally doable if you unlocked the side door by the pool. If you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs to sleep in because it is in the flight path of many helecoptors and airplanes. Nothing we couldn't deal with, just a good thing to know. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Musicians Dream. The house is located close to Hollywood, The Getty, The Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Universal Studios, etc, yet it is on a quiet street with off-street parking. The house is very private, surrounded by lush greenery and a lovely swimming pool. We had breakfast on the deck each morning. The beds were very comfortable and everything was provided. We booked this particular house because our son loves playing piano and we enjoy listening to him play. The house did not disappoint. It was a nice surprise to find hundreds of copies of sheet music available. Jeannine was super nice and friendly in her communication and welcoming demeanor. Jeannine checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable at the home. We did not need a single thing! We would definitely come back and will recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in a safe and clean home in Los Angeles. Thank you Jeannine, you made our stay very special indeed.

Valley Village Delight
Thanks to our hosts for a most comfortable long term stay in this charming home. Everything needed was readily available. From the cozy bedroom one steps out onto a deck and to a lovely backyard with ample seating in shade, sun and poolside. This vintage house is modernized with excellent video, audio & wifi technology. A distinctive accent was the refurbished, retro-designed gas stove. Last, but by no means least, the baby grand piano and extensive library of sheet music make this indeed a musician’s dream.

Cozy Get-away
The property was everything advertised. The grand piano is beautiful and its sound is glorious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were a perfect fit for us. The pool is huge and the spreading avacado tree in the front yard is a California classic. We also appreciated the private off-street parking for our car. Great home away from home.
