Hamptons Weekend

Great spacious house, plenty of room for 11 people to comfortably stay. The house is rustic and charming with lots of natural light. We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

Unique home in a incredibly beautiful setting!

The house is a HUGE renovated barn with two living rooms. There was more than enough room for our family to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The view from the back of the house was picture perfect- an amazing view of the Accabonac and Louse Point. We would sit outside and watch the kids play badminton and relax. There was a new grill for us to use and we were easily able to entertain our friends. Our kids loved that there was a ping pong table and that most rooms were big enough to accommodate the table and their friends! Sonja and James were very welcoming and responsive when we had any questions. This really is a one of a kind home with a view that was hard to leave! Thanks again, S+J!

Wonderful, eclectic property. Great space and ameneties for multiple families or groups.

3 families met for a gathering right before July 4th weekend. 7 Adults and 3 Teens. The house is very spacious - 6 Bedrooms. 4 Full Baths and 2 half baths. 2 separate living areas; One upstairs and one downstairs; the downstairs great room has a Ping Pong table. Yeah. The teens were entertained when they weren't texting. The kitchen is massive. Seating for 14 at the beautiful kitchen table and another 6 seats at the kitchen bar. Large TV's in both living rooms. Beautiful gardens and outdoor seating, with bays views. There is a pizza parlor and liquor store less than 1 mile away. Saturday Farmers market. This is a great value. I would highly recommend this property and if our family does a group visit this will be the place for us.

The Springs

The Hamptons are special, but the Springs in the Hamptons are wonderful. And this house has the history, the beauty, the comfort that allows to enjoy the whole of the Hamptons. The house is beautiful, comfortable, easy to live in, with a dream kitchen. One of those places you don't really want to share because they are so special.

Perfect home for large groups in charming Springs

We had a wonderful time staying at Sonja & Jim's home for a week over the Fourth of July! The house is perfect for large groups with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We appreciated that our group had a lot of space to spread out (2 living rooms) and nice a backyard to soak up the sun and play croquet (they have a set). The house is located in Springs with a view of the water and a beach/tennis courts nearby. We really enjoyed exploring the area - there's a farmer's market on Saturdays and a great general store both within .5 miles of the house. It took us about 10 minutes to drive into Amagansett and 15 minutes to drive into East Hampton. Sonja was very quick to respond to all of our questions and a welcoming host. We would definitely stay at this home again!

Absolutely amazing experience

Sonja's house was absolutely amazing. The pictures don't do it justice - you have to see it for yourself! Incredibly spacious - large rooms and high ceilings give the house a really unique feel. There are two full sized living rooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) as well as huge bedrooms. The kitchen area feels like it should be featured on a cooking show. The backyard is beautiful and has a patio to lounge as well as an upstairs balcony that overlooks it. The house is also a quick ride to Amagansett, East Hampton, or Montauk. Sonja was such a phenomenal host. Gracious, communicative, and always made me and my group feel welcome and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. Five stars - would definitely stay again.
