About this property

This is the perfect beach house for a family. It is on the bayside with water on two sides with a dock to tie up your boat or to let the children do some crabbing or fishing! The beautiful back deck is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and watching the boaters go out to fish or to entertain family and friends as the sun goes down. The kitchen also has a bar that seats 3 and the dining room has a table that seats up to ten by adding one table leaf. The community pool is about a 1 minute walk from the front door. There is plenty of parking and we have a gas grill for your use. A washer and dryer are off the dining room and a family room with TV and dvd player. No pets are allowed but there are pet care facilities close by. We are within 10 minutes of walking to the beach and the boardwalk tram. The waterpark is directly behind the beach house as well as the children's park with rides, many eating facilities and the popular Salty Dog Pub.
We do not rent to graduating high school students.

Perfect family place

The place was perfect for our family of 7! Very clean, quiet relaxing community. We loved waking up every morning and sitting on the back porch watching the fish jump in the canal! We walked to the beach daily and to buddy’s one night for drinks! We got a Walmart delivery for groceries very convenient location!

Lovely stay.

We had a nice time with our boat here. It was easy to dock and when a storm blew in it didn’t get thrown. Loved all the space in the kitchen and the updated downstairs. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great location, but wasn’t satisfied with my experience

Great location! The washing machine wasn’t draining and it took a couple of days to get repaired. The hvac unit wasn’t cooling the house. After a couple of days, the repair technician told me that it didn’t have a filter in place and the unit needed a major repair. The repair wasn’t made during my stay and the home averaged 80* inside and was definitely uncomfortable.

Great location for a family trip

This little community on Gull Way is a great place to stay. Every house is close proximity to the pool. We chose this house because it was on the end of the row. The house was recently renovated, which was really nice, and has a boat slip (with lift). The house has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, so it’s convenient for the family. Right down the street from Jolly Roger (great place to visit) and under 10 minuets to the inlet/end of boardwalk. The owners were very pleasent to work with and always responded quickly/professionally. I would recommend this place!

Love Gull Way!

The only thing that would have made the vacation better is a new mattress in the master. The frame is broken and the mattress sinks to the middle. Other improvements to the home are very nice. Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful modern townhouse. Great location.

We stayed here in July with 3 teenage boys. The home was even better than the pictures. Clean and neat with modern decor. Everything was well organized and labeled with many nice courtesies left for guests. The home had plenty of room for us all and the location was near to everything and perfect for our boat. We found the neighbors were welcoming and friendly. The pool was also nice to have right out front. A nice addition for boaters is the lot to park your trailer. I reached out to the owner to ask a question and recieved a prompt and friendly response. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Cute townhouse

Townhouse is adorable, pool was closed which was not listed, but the canal was great. Would definitely will come back, we all loved the place and had a wonderful time. Next time we will stay longer. Owner was fast getting back to us.

Great relaxing vacation

34th Anniversary

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything that was described was on point. Very close to everything. The corner property with the deck around us made it better. Crab traps were under the deck. We were able to keep six of the crabs we caught. It was a very relaxing house.

Great Summer getaway

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, the property was exactly as it was advertised on VRBO, Sharon property owner was awesome. Would difenently recommend it our grandchildren will difenently not forget this summers vacation for years to come. Being right on peer difenently kept them busy with fishing and crabbing being on a corner lot didnt have to worry about neighbors they difenently had plenty of room to enjoy themselves in. This was our 3rd stay at this property and it was great! Only issue was with the owners of the other units. They treat renters like they're 2nd class citizens. Many of them wouldn't even greet or acknowledge us when we said hi or bye.

Awesome find

We had a great time during our stay. The house was adorable and exactly what we expected. The location was great! Tucked away to enjoy the quiet and relaxing part of ocean city, yet extremely close to everything else ocean city has to offer. When we come back we will be sure to stay here again!

Great rental for families, loved the outdoor space and the sunset views.

Thanks so much for sharing your summer home, we had wonderful weather and the location was perfect. The over cleanliness of the home was acceptable but the kitchen could use a real good wipe down. The major issues we had were with the sliding door to go out to the deck was very difficult to open and shut and there was a deck plank(right in the middle) that was warped and caused a major trip hazard.(we put a chair over it to prevent issues). The flooring in the hallway outside the kitchen was cracked and coming up so we placed a carpet over it to prevent further damage. One recommendation that we have was to put a dresser in the master in place of the trunk. Since the closet space was awkward, drawers would have been helpful.

Wonderful location!

The property was perfect for what we wanted - however, it was not clean. We had fruit flies all week long from trash that had not been emptied. We had to clean the facility ourselves prior to feeling more comfortable. There were crumbs on the table and countertops, the rugs were not clean and the vacuum cleaner stunk when we tried to use.....there was hair on the floor in the bathroom, clearly indicating it had not been cleaned. My family works very hard and was looking forward to a relaxing getaway............I am a school principal who works 10-16 hour days sometimes........my daughter works for a law firm and needless to say, works many hours..........my son manages a demolition company and my husband recently retired. I am very thankful and feel blessed that we all pitched in to scrub a trash can, and clean a facility that we were looking forward to relaxing in for a vacation. It was certainly not what we expected. I will say I informed the home owner as I felt that she should be aware if she is paying a cleaning service and she apologized. Again, great facility - I'm hoping a different service will be able to clean better for her.

Crumbling in nearly every room and failing air conditioning makes for a horrible vacation

While the deck looks great from the water and in the pictures, it is literally crumbling everywhere. The deck boards are similar to the ocean waves and the pickets are falling apart. Forget about sitting on the upper deck adjacent to the master bedroom, it is not safe for even the smallest child. Everyone who stayed or visited tripped on the dilapidated deck boards and the same for the flooring inside the house. I should have listened to the previous reviews regarding the cleanliness. While it appeared clean on first blush, only the immediate surfaces have ever been dusted. The bathrooms were so outrageously dirty, we had to go to the store and buy bleach, a mop and paper towels we could throw away after cleaning the gobs of nasty hair and dirt left on the walls, floors and sinks in both upstairs bathrooms. Even worse than the crumbling deck, floors and walls, the air conditioning only worked upstairs in the two guest bedrooms. The house never cooled below 85 degrees on the hottest days of the year during the 4th of July. We had to spend a small fortune on fans just to be able to tolerate the soaring heat. If you plan to allow your children to swim in this area - forget it! It is not safe for anyone to swim in the canals here. The boat traffic is not only voluminous, but constant. We were even concerned about putting kayaks in the water the boat traffic was so heavy. Good luck finding the place upon arrival as there is no street sign to indicate the direction of the townhouse. I highly suggest renting elsewhere. I would never consider staying in this run down, unkempt hot box.

Why they chose this property

We love this corner lot. with water on 2 sides. It is lovely to have a beautiful, well-cared for swimming pool about 50 steps away from our front door and a dock for boats and crabbing for the children. The view from the upper deck reminds me of Venice when I drink my morning coffee!

What makes this property unique

This property is so close to everything and yet so peacerful and quiet. Unbelieveable , but true. We are a 10 minute nice walk to the ocean, a 5 minute walk to the water park and children's rides and a wonderful, safe area for bike riding, a great pub within walking distance and a quick walk to catch a bus to the boardwalk or if you do not want to drive.
