About this property

Riverfront Home Gateway to Canada !!

Century-old riverfront home five minutes from the Canadian border. Newly renovated in 2009 with expansive view of the St. Croix River looking to the Canadian shoreline and the province of New Brunswick. Walk to town, shopping, restaurants, library, entertainment. You can even walk to Canada across the International Bridge!! Wonderful architecture from turn of the century. Original woodwork, plaster walls, and tin ceilings . Beautifully sited in a neighborhood known as Hinkley Hill with many fabulous homes including a trio of Victorian waterfront gingerbreads. Convenient to all yet offering landscaped privacy. Beautiful lawn, flower and vegetable gardens in season.

Wonderful stay

I very much enjoyed the home and want to send thanks. The home was laid out so newcomers to the area had great information about local activities, the hosts actually left a booklet. I had some bumps during my stay- a car accident, and got great advice on where to go for help. My hosts checked in regularly and they were always a friendly face. I’d rent from them again without hesitation.
