If you have looked at a map and noticed this home is close to the freeway you are probably wondering if it is noisy. While searching for your perfect, quiet serene Scottsdale vacation home, the map doesn't always tell the whole story. When this portion of the Loop 101 was built, it was part of a pilot program, which installed a 1 inch think rubber/asphalt layer over the concrete to help mitigate noise. Next they installed a thick textured acoustic wall which absorbs, blocks and bounces the sound over Villa Lamar. That means being within 100 feet of the wall is actually one of the quietest places to be! Walk the neighborhood and you will be surprised to see the noise a few blocks away is louder than it is by the pool at Villa Lamar! With the double pane French doors, you will be surprised at how quiet the home actually is inside, and you won't have to raise your voice to talk in the back yard either. Guests who return every year, say that freeway walls makes Villa Lamar one of the best kept secret deals in Scottsdale!
We have all seen those TV ads where happy vacationing families lounge around their own private pool without a care in the world. If the idea of walking a mile from the parking lot to a cramped hotel room where the neighbors party all night, the maids wake you up at 7am, the pool is full of screaming kids and restaurant meals are an expensive requirement, then you have probably discovered that renting a condo or townhouse is not much different than staying in a hotel. If you want to avoid all of the resort drama and have the kind of vacation those juicy TV ads promise, then choosing a house for your next trip is probably the answer.
