Spacious townhome in the Sunnyside Beach and Tennis Resort on the West End of Panama City Beach. Dedicated beach so you are guaranteed a beach to yourself! We are located on the beach road, walk or skip across the street to surf and sand or take the underground tunnel that delivers you to our warm waters. Large pool and playground for the kids, tennis courts and shuffleboard.
The resort is directly across the beach road with expansive views of surf and sand. A short walk to these beautiful beaches. Bring your beach chair and umbrella and a good book, or your boogie board to ride the gentle waves. Or swim laps in the large resort pool and enjoy the view from your pool chair. This bright townhome with plenty of seating in the living and dining room area. New tile flooring and furnishings. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher, a new stove and oven and microwave, and wine cooler. Coffeemaker and blender. Plenty of glassware, dishes and cookware.
Two bedrooms upstairs, one, a loft, with twin beds, the other a master with a king bed. Both have full baths. Ceiling fans throughout. 1/2 bath downstairs with accompanying laundry room.
The location on the West End is called the 'quiet end' of Panama City Beach, but if you are in the mood for more action, drive up the beach road to Pier Park where people gather to eat and drink, listen to music, shop and ride the carousel at the amusement park. Travel west on 30A to Rosemary and Suncrest beaches a short drive away. Or stay home for a quiet night, cook out on our grill and watch a movie or just the stars!

Although we just recently bought our town home at Sunnyside, the complex was built in the 70s and includes 80 units arranged in a horseshoe so all have a good view of the beach. The units are all townhomes and offer high ceilings and spacious rooms and kitchens. Our townhome is newly decorated has beautiful Mexican tile in the living room. A loft bedroom with twin beds is great for kids, and 2 queen sleeper sofas in the living room sleeps even more. One of our favorite spots to sit with a cup of coffee is our patio where we have a view of the ocean and private enough to wake up to the morning. We love our getaway at the beach where we escape our busy lives in Atlanta and enjoy the slow pace of beach days.
Why they chose this property
Sunnyside Beach and Tennis Club is in a unique location on the West End, the quiet end of Panama City Beach, because its' beach is dedicated and no buildings obstruct the view of sand and surf, making the complex like a beachside property. An underground tunnel takes kids safely under the beach road to a private gazebo and steps on the beach side. We are a short drive away to lots of entertainment and shopping at Pier Park or further west to Rosemary and Suncrest beaches. All units are 2 stories and accessible on the ground floor with parking outside your front door. No elevators needed! When you tire of sunning at the beach and riding the waves, you can take a book poolside and dip into the large pool there. And tennis courts and shuffleboard provide more playing time in the sun. If you forgot your book at home, the clubhouse has a collection of hardback and paperback books, a pool table and a ping-pong table.
What makes this property unique
Sunnyside is a family friendly resort with lots of greenspace, a playground and pool. As well, a sand volleyball court with shuffleboard and other outside games to play. Our beach is private only accessible to owners and their guests. And the beach is dedicated meaning you are guaranteed a view of the ocean with no buildings to obstruct that view.
